I loved the location and the well stocked kitchen. I also appreciated the Hawaiian snacks provided . I appreciated the quick response to my ants in the bed problem! The pool was a delight!
This apartment definitely needed air conditioning as it was exceptionally hot during my stay. I was unable to get the ceiling fan to work until the third day!

We had to go off location to find a place for breakfasts.
NO AIR Conditioning. We needed it ! The bed was to hard to sleep .

There was no breakfast. Liked the Hawaii made chocolate macadamia nuts and the Kauai Cookie shortbread cookies that were provided.
Check out time is awfully early, 10 am and check in time kind of late at 4 pm but understand time is needed to do laundry and clean when people leaving and then coming same day

McKell stepped up and solved all problems
Unit 608 should’ve taken off market until appliance issues are corrected. Dishwasher is questionable. Fridge has cracked shelves in door. One actually broke when my daughter put the Brita pitcher in. Pool rules not posted and getting scolded for violating. Took 3 phone call to get things corrected and 2 days for any response when told it would be 30 minutes

Perfect Poipu location. Short walk to beach, Brennecke's and Shipwrecks. Good golf nearby, quiet, comfortable, and everything needed is provided. It felt like our vacation home, and we own a couple ourselves, so we know what that means.
Vacasa is the property manager, and they are outstanding. BUT, I wish all communication would pass through the party I booked with, rather than being forced to download their app. We initially couldn't enter the home because the code wasn't delivered to me unless I downloaded their app. It was frustrating at the time.

The location and pool were wonderful
The sleeper sofa's mattress needs replaced; you can feel all the metal frame bars thru the mattress. The icemaker didn't work.

Location was nice.
Property management difficult to deal with. No on-site security (safe) as was listed and in the on-site info book. Pretty thick layer of dust on most of window blinds. Rainstorm (normal) set up a "moat" outside the front door that trapped us for a couple of hours -- until a neighbor (NOT the management) started up a pump to remove the water. (The pump was already in place, so I expect this is a chronic issue -- not surprising in Kauai! -- my issue's with the management leaving it to a neighbor to help us out!)
