Die Lage ist okay und wenn man früh genug dran ist bekommt man ebenfalls einen Parkplatz.
Ich gebe ungern eine negative Bewertung ab, vor allem da es sich hierbei um ein Familien geführtes Hotel handelt mit einem wirklich schönen Restaurant/Gastraum. Leider hat mir mein Aufenthalt hier dennoch nicht gefallen. Das Zimmer welches ich hatte war wirklich sehr klein und ich hatte etliche Fliegen in meinem Zimmer da es keine Fliegengitter an den Fenstern gab. Was mich jedoch am meisten gestört hat war der Geruch auf meinem Zimmer bzw. auf der ganzen obersten Etage. Es roch einfach durchgehend unangenehm. Ich weis nicht ob es am Wetter lag und daran das es die ganze Zeit regnete, jedoch würde ich hier nicht noch einmal herkommen.

Haus: Drei Seiten top, die vierte Seite (Rückwärtige Parkplätze) sollte ins Ganze integriert werden.

L’hôtel était excellent, la chambre familiale était spacieuse avec une bonne literie. Le personnel était au petit soin. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir, cela a été une belle découverte ,nous reviendrons.

- Location is amazing. Right next to lake’s beach front, in a charming tranquil place close to Lugano
- Hosts. Great hospitality and willingness to help with every need
- Private swimming area. Everything was very convenient and the lake’s water and views were simply gorgeous
- Food. Restaurant is top, highly recommended for dinner. Breakfast was also decent
- Parking. No need to worry, there’re enough parking slots even when the hotel and restaurant are full
- Hotel’s beds are not for people with unhealthy backs. Most of the reviewers mention that they’re super comfy (and it may be), but it also means that they’re really really soft, almost like the a water mattress. If your spine is not so healthy, you won’t sleep and suffer the whole night due to back’s pain

The location was perfect - in a quiet, pretty neighbourhood a stone’s throw away from the busier Morcote, right by the lake with a terrific view. There were more than one trail to Morcote and beyond. It was an old house and I like old houses :) , very well maintained and very clean so I feel very comfortable. Sitting on the patio having a nice, cool drink from the excellent bar, after a day of hiking was pure bliss. I ate every evening in the hotel restaurant with varied and delicious food, all served with warm hospital

It was in a lovely position. Family run and good value for money with parking on-site. Also dog friendly which is important for us.

We loved truly everything about this hotel. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful with directions. The room very modern and clean. The lakeview superb. The breakfast was very good too. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and that was absolutely delicious. We will definitely book this hotel again for our future trip!

Hotel very nice, room a bit on the small side, but absolutely ok for the prize. Hotel per se is inexpensive on Swiss standards, very good value for money. Morcote is a highlight on the lake. Restaurant of the hotel was superb, not cheap but absolutely worth the money

The public area are small so you either sit in your room and have to go sonewhere else. (unless the sun is shining when you can sit on the loungers over at the lake).

Beautiful typical square Ticino house, stunning location by Lake Lugano. Welcoming staff. Clean room and bathroom. Pretty room (attractive curtains). Comfortable bed. Delicious food in the charming restaurant. Good breakfast selection. Free parking.
Unusual configuration of room due to space constraints meant it was impractical: no bedside table (used a chair, which then almost blocked the passage) and easily accessible socket was behind the headboard. Tiny bathroom. I could clearly hear the people in the next room talking and even pressing the light switch. Noise from the ground floor restaurant travelled straight up the central stairwell.

Arbostora is one of the quietest, poshest, and undiscovered places on the lake Lugano. The hotel is on the border of the lake, with a really exotic and rare scenery: think of palm trees meet Swiss Alps meet all the really nice smelling flowers typical for Mediterranean area. Also the property has one of the best restaurants in the area, a bit pricey but I learned that in Switzerland you get what you pay for. I would recommend taking the hiking trails and do a tour up the mountain through the villas with the nicest garden I’ve ever seen.

Perfect location and hotel, the room was very nice, spacious and awesome view to the lake! Easy parking, great restaurant, excellent breakfast and staff!
It was a bit colder in the room, but plenty of heating equipment was provided.

The hotel manager was friendly and helpful.
The rooms were nice and the beds very comfortable (thick soft matress) and we loved the view to the lake.
Breakfast was ba big buffet with nice and tasty stuff.
I really recomend this place, but I rather prefer to come in late Spring or Summer, when the weather allows a bath in the lake.
Parking space is available, but also busses are regulary operating around the lake, which makes it easy even with public transport to reach Morcote even without a own car good.
Winter is not the right season for swimming in the beautiful lake... ;-)

Fantastic location with beautiful view over the lake and the mountains. A nice boutique hotel. Very nice staff. Free car park just outside the hotel. Dog friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Heating in bathroom didn't work, that was a bit uncomfortable but temporary & should be fixed.
