We rented the house for our trip to Turkey Bay. It was as nice as advertised and we plan to bring our boat back this summer and will want to stay in this house again. Thanks for sharing your home.

Beautiful well kept house with up to date amenities. Plenty of spacious room throughout the house with spacious parking for fishing rigs. Would definitely look to rent again in the future.

Very good location. Dock is nice. Property could use a new grill. But other than that it was great.

We had 2 adults and 4 teens, so this property fit us well. Just 4 nights. The cove is perfect for kayaking, tubing and knee boarding. Dollar General was 10 minutes away in either direction for any needs. Good restaurants we dined at was Los Amigos & Belew's Dairy Bar (a must for shake lovers, we went twice!) Land between the Lakes is close, we drove thru the Bison reserve, fun to see those. All is all this quick getaway is just what we needed to unplug and relax. Only complaint I heard was a couple of the upstairs bed were a bit hard. I would recommend bringing a couple extra mattress foams if using all upstairs beds. The house was clean and stocked with all kitchen utensils and soaps. We were only in it to eat and sleep. We spent most of our days on the water. Not a lot of boat traffic in that cove which was ideal. The deep fishing was not great for my husband that weekend. A few drum & gar. Teens had more luck just dropping a line off the dock. The decor in the house is a bit dated, but it reminded me of my grandma's, felt homey and comfortable.

We've been visiting Kentucky Lake for several years, and with our family expanding, we decided to book a larger home to accomodate us this year. This property was percet for us. Some of the things we loved: -Very well stocked. Everything from firewood, pots & pans, trash bags, laundry/dish detergent, toilet paper, tin foil, zip lock bags, utensils, etc. We were really pleased with how little we had to obtain from the store when we arrived. -The private, covered dock fit our fishing boat perfectly. There is even an cabinet on the dock to store your lifejackets, fishing poles, supplies, etc. Really convenient! -The beds were more comfortable than we antiicipated! -We had filled up both trash bins before the scheduled pick up date, and the owners made arrangements to have that picked up for us very promptly. -The house is stocked with several games, including cards and a bags set! -Kentucky can get steamy mid-July, but the back yard is very well shaded and has beautiful views. -Perfect for fishing, swiming, or any water activities! A few things to consider: -We would have loved to have a large outdoor table on the patio to eat at. Bring a few folding tables if you're considering booking and spending a lot of time outside. The patio is large enough to accomodate it. -Not all of the bedroom doors lock in the home, including a very tricky bathroom door lock. -The bathroom toilet on the upstairs level is not made for tall humans. If you're over 6 ft, it will feel like it was made for a potty training a toddler. -The family room couch has seen better days, and is falling apart at the seams. We didn't have to worry about this too much, since the majority of our time was spent outside. Our biggest concern from this property was that there is not a handrail down the steps leading out to the porch. It's very hazardous, and my father in law took a bad tumble down them. In the future we would like to see one placed there for safety reasons. My guess is that it is very close to Kentucky's building code for handrails. All in all, this home gave us everything we needed and wanted for our trip, and are really appreciative to the owners for being so accomodating and welcoming. We hope to be back!

The property is covered with huge oak trees so the back of the house all the way to the covered dock is shaded almost all day. Combine this with a breeze that blew all but one day during our stay, and the back patio overlooking the lake was a great place to the afternoon and evenings, when we weren’t on the lake. The house was spacious with a screened porch, a new kitchen and comfortable beds with plenty of sleeping room for kids. The location of the house is close to marinas, boat ramps, restaurants and activities. I give this property 4 1/2 stars overall.

The property was just as described. It is a centralized location so we were able to make short trips when we weren't fishing swimming and relaxing at the house. We felt right at home.

This is a wonderful house. We tied up a pontoon boat to the dock. Played games on the back porch and sat by the fire at night. Everybody loved the stay, the the house and the property.

Great location right on Jonathan Creek with a private pier. Lots of space for a large family reunion or group of friends. Decor is a little dated but the house is very well stocked from the kitchens to the bathrooms and bedrooms. also very nice outside areas, including a fire pit.

The house was nice but after a few days of random bites showing up on our bodies- we discovered a massive infestation of bedbugs. We immediately packed up and called the owner who was very responsive and called Terminex immediately. Unfortunately we were stuck driving 4 hours to a family home with a 1 year old past bedtime only to spend the entire next day cleaning everything we own and praying we don’t bring any bugs home with us. We did receive a full refund but the extra time, ruined experience and cost of deep cleaning our belongings is enough to make me never book a VRBO again.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at your property. The wonderful view of the trees and lake were stunning. An upgrade to lakeside lighting would be a plus, however the small fire pit was perfect. The layout of the house was nice as well. Thank you for us to stay! Would recommend to anyone!

Loved the house. Beautiful view. Would like to rent again. The house was cozy we felt right at home.

Home was clean and welcoming. All amenities we needed were there. Outdoors was incredible from sun up to sun down. From wildlife to fishing to boating to relaxing we had it all!

We had an amazing time at the Kelly’s this week. Our group of seven (four adults and three kids) had plenty of room to spread out. The house had everything we needed and more. The listing and pictures are accurate. The view is spectacular and the house is close to nearby attractions. We didn’t drive more than a half an hour to anything. This was my first VRBO experience. Would definitely do it again! We are leaving today, and we are all sad to go!

We all had a great. The location on the lake was one of the best. We loved having a private dock for our boats and the kIds loved swimming off of it. They were even able to fish off of it. There were plenty of beds for all. The kids even switched it up a few nights. Beautiful vies out the window to the lake. We all agreed it is a place to return to.

The property and house was perfect for us. I cooked breakfast and dinner everyday we were there and the accommodations to cook was beyond happy. The view from the back deck and fire pit was beautiful. We will definitely be back. ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay on this property. The owners were quick to reply and communicate with us, especially if we had any questions. The property had both indoor and outdoor hang out spaces for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and met our cooking needs! We also grilled out. We loved watching the sunsets! One of the days we rented a pontoon, and the rental facility was right down the road -- very convenient! The dock could use some TLC, but great location and we loved having the access to the water. Thank you for opening your property to us!

The Kelly’s residence was a perfect place to get a way for the holiday weekend. Pretty secluded spot with a nice yard and fire area, and dock with a nice view of this portion of the lake. Plenty of comfortable rooms for our 7 guests. Would definitely come back again!

Wonderful property, quiet location right on the lake with boat dock. Plenty of room for parents, kids and grandparents with all the personal touches of home. We would like to make this an annual trip for the whole family. Plenty to do in the area if you don't want to fish or boat too. Great home!

We stayed here on a last minute spring break trip as a family and had a great time. The dock was good for catching crappie and the deck was good for catching the sunsets. We enjoyed the sites and hiking around Land Between the Lakes. The property was clean and spacious. I would recommend this place for a lake getaway. We hope to return when it’s warmer!

View of the lake was amazing and the home was perfectly stocked!! We cooked every night while visited. We always bring half our kitchen with us because usually when a owner says their kitchen has all you need it never does. This home was different! I didn’t need any of my home brought tools as they had everything I needed so I left mine perfectly packed away. We definitely plan to come back to enjoy the view, hopefully when it’s warmer and not so rainy.

We had a wonderful stay on the waterfront property. Nice calm water, and being on a channel instead of the main lake was great to relax with. The house has all the amenities we needed and tons of space! The dock was great for swimming and fishing. Communication with the owner was perfect! We'll definitely be looking to stay again in the future!

This is an awesome place to stay. We were able to dock out boat, enjoy time on the dock fishing and swimming, while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The house had everything we needed and more. Besides the cobb webs inside the house was very clean! My kids wanted to stay forever!!

Stumbled across this property and glad we did, it was perfect! Having a covered boat dock right there with a fuel dock close by was super convenient. House was really clean and had everything we needed and more. Owners are very responsive and return messages quickly. Kids loved swimming at the dock and the location is perfect for boating/tubing/skiing/etc. We'll be back for more!
