This condo was perfect for our one week getaway to St Croix. There wee a couple of hiccups at checkin but all were resolved very quickly and to our satisfaction. We would love to stay here again. Very satisfied.

We spent 6 wonderful days at the Villa, everything we could need or want was there. The view is a million dollar view of the ocean and mountain. The best after full days of exploring St Croix was jumping in the pool & enjoying the serenity of this villa. I will definitely come back and stay here again.

Wonderful experience staying at this property on the beautiful East end of the island with my mom and two of my kids, ages 7 and 15, for one week over Spring Break. The Villa was clean, comfortable, beautiful had everything we needed. The pool area was awesome! The kids spent a lot of the time there. I hope we can come back at some point. We would definitely stay here again. I love the gated community, never once felt unsafe at the Villa or anywhere on the island. We drove over to the west end two of the days and it is only a 40-45 min drive to the other end. Perfect location for getting up early for sunrise and Point Udall. My wife Denise and I really enjoy our many trips to a few different islands in the Caribbean. Saint Croix weather and scenery and food and beaches and friendly people make it rank right up there in the top ten. This property is safe, quiet, clean but you do need a car to make the most of it. It took us about 15 to 20 minutes to drive to Christiansted. Working with the property manager was very easy and reliable. We both would highly recommend it to anyone.

Island was laid back and had beautiful beaches! My wife and I would come back alone with our kids. - great out door activities!

Lovely spot to relax, read a book, take a dip. Really lovely. Comfy living room. Lovely grounds, well maintained. Nice layout for two couples, or mix of adults. The 2nd bedroom is accessed through patio door (does not connect to the main living area), which provides additional privacy. (the door handle broke, and it took two days to fix - so we had to be very careful - I'm sure we could have gotten it fixed more quickly if we followed up more directly with the crew on site.). The walk to the beach is long and not straightforward unless you go when the gate is unlocked ( a few days / week, uncertain re. schedule). The location is about 20 mins from town, 30 mins to airport, 45 mins to the other major town. Grocery stores 15-20 mins. 1 cook kitchen that is incredibly well stocked. Steep hill exiting complex - recommend non compact car. Love that all the beaches are public. Crystal clear water. Very informal island. Make sure to call if you will be late picking up rental car - ours was no longer available, and a car was a must! Pam and her husband were very generous to drive us back to the airport to pick up a car.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Dare to Dream. The accommodations were set up perfectly for our family (two couples). We spent a lot of time relaxing on the private pool deck and enjoying the view and Caribbean breezes. A highlight included booking Llewelyn’s Charters for a snorkeling trip to Buck Island, which departs conveniently from the St. Croix Yacht Club, a 5 minute drive from Villa Madeleine. We definitely recommend staying here!

We so enjoyed our stay. After many island condo rentals I can say that this was the best at details. Small things like soap, dish soap and t. p. plentiful enough that we didn’t have to immediately shop for basics. Cute decor that makes you feel like you are someplace special and comfortable. We basically pulled a bathing suit out of our bags and went straight into the pool. This was a great home base to explore the island from. I would have loved screens for doors so less bugs came in with the breeze but that was nothing that impacted the experience overall. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We have just had 2 lovely weeks at Lynda and Jeffrey’s delightful island home . They provided a car ... much appreciated for getting around St Croix + 2 sets of golf clubs and tennis equipment... all of which were used . To have our own pool in an island breeze was so great and large enough to do a few laps daily . The house was spotless and Lynda and Jeffrey extremely easy for communication. We would highly recommend this house for your stay on St Croix.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at this lovely villa. It was just as described and more. The kitchen is very well stocked, and it was an added bonus that they had lots of spices and condiments on hand. Shopping on the island was easy at cost U less for everything else. Pam was kind, helpful and accommodating. The pool is incredible, and waking up to the amazing view every morning was awesome. They could probably use a little bit more deck furniture, but the table with the umbrella was so nice because it gets a lot of sun. The pool/deck area is so lovely and private. We really enjoyed the overall layout of the house as well and the Caribbean feel and casual ambience. Also nice that it was in a gated community, it felt very safe. Would love to return as soon as possible, thank you so much for a truly relaxing vacation!

I would recommend this amazing place for anyone coming to the island! We were welcomed with the manager of the house. She was very informative and helpful. She was available for any questions we had during our stay. Everything you might need beyond your own personal items were available here! It was above and beyond what we expected. Extremely safe location and a short drive to everything we needed. We will definitely be back and stay in this exact home of possible.

We were at the Dare to Dream Villa for eight days with our good friends! We each had a nice suite to ourselves. The pool is beautiful, private and the view is spectacular. The location was great- close to the Casino, beaches and Christiansted. Lynda and Jeff were always willing to answer any questions we asked and gave us good information about the island. A lovely comfortable villa with a totally private pool and amazing view, what could be better

First off I would like to thank Jeff and Lynda for allowing us to rent their vacation condo. Jeff was always quick to response to any question or concern. Duane was very helpful and kind. Got us things before we even arrived, met us at the airport and answered any text sent with in mins. Location, Location, Location. Great view of the ocean or mountain. Enjoyed the island breeze and sounds of the swaying palms at night with the french doors open. Pool area had plenty of sun and seclusion to tan everything if you wanted too ! Even though your in a complex of condos it was still quiet and peaceful. Only minutes away by car to Cramer park (beach area) which is also very quiet and not many people. Drive a bit further to Udell point for some beautiful pics. At the bottom of the hill of the condo is TLC cafe which has good breakfast and awesome sourdough bread but make sure you order it on Saturday or your not getting any! If your looking for local ma and pop Caribbean food head to El Solo, El Flamboyant or the Chicken shack. Maria's Cantina Napoleons pizza and Castaways was also good. We did not like Duggans. Thought the owner/greeter was very unwelcoming and stuck on himself. Also didnt think the food was good. All in all had a wonderful quiet vacation at an AWESOME VBRO

This place was absolutely stunning. Super clean, gorgeous property, and very private. We celebrated our 20th anniversary and couldn’t have selected a better location. It was exactly the type of relaxing getaway we needed. For sure you need a car! I made the mistake of not making early reservations, so we were dependents on very expensive cab rides. However, the groceries we asked for were already at the house and the caretaker Duane showed us the nearest grocery store. Thanks for your hospitality!! We LOVED this place!

This property was absolutely wonderful! The condo had everything anyone could possibly want on their vacation and is so comfortable for 4 people. The view was spectacular and the location was ideal. The nearby beaches were excellent with great snorkeling everywhere, especially Buck Island. Even the weather was perfect. When we go back to St. Croix, which is a certainty, we will certainly be staying at Dare to Dream. Nothing can compare to it. In addition, the owners are tremendous to work with and very responsive. They really cared about our family having a good time. Staying at Dare to Dream was an incredible experience and we highly recommend it!

Greatly enjoyed staying at Dare to Dream 03/01-03/08. Arrived late at night, met by the Caretaker Dwayne Hammond - incredible gentlemen. Dwayne guided us in from the airport, acquainted us with the villa, and left breakfast and some produce for us. We were so happy to have this introduction! Dare to dream has it all, a well equipped kitchen, two master bedrooms - essentially en-suites, private courtyard with BBQ and that pool! Also, nice to have excellent internet as I did work a few days. My wife was so impressed with the floor plan that she sketched it out for a future build! Given the time that we were there it was tough to leave. Lounge on the chairs, read books, dip in the pool - repeat. Easy to do most all of your cooking and dining outside. The two bathrooms have large shower units, that felt like outside showers when you opened the shutters, plenty of natural light, wonderfully tiled. The entire place was impeccably clean and maintained. We did venture out to do sunrise at Point Udall - a must! The County Beach park at the foot of the hill - uncrowded, real nice for swimming - you will have it to yourselves most days. Christensted - great for lunch, shopping - some incredible Craft Jewelers there, fantastic architecture. A must do - Buck Island and snorkeling - the underwater trail and grotto, huge elk coral and the most pristine brain coral we have ever seen. Things we were not impressed with; lunch at the Buccaneer - poor service and marginal food. Dugans at the foot of the hill, poor hours and a stuck up crowd. If you are looking for a real beach bar - go elsewhere. Real beacons on St. Croix - they do know how to make rum and the Leatherback Brewing, Reef Life IPA is outstanding. We have now visited all (3) USVI's, can safely say that St. Croix warrants more attention and a longer stay next time. My wife and I are experienced VRBO users, and Dare to Dream ranks among the best experiences we have had to date. Quiet - relaxing - clean - well equipped - no hassle, responsive owners and a reliable and friendly caretaker in Dwayne Hammond. What more could one ask for? -Cheers and Enjoy! Chip and Peggy Miller
