LaVida Cottage offre un cadre pittoresque et calme à deux pâtés de maisons du lac Ontario et surplombant le ruisseau 18 Mile. Dans la cour arrière de 3/4 acres il y a un foyer, deux patios, des aires de pique-nique et beaucoup d'endroits pour planter une tente familiale.
La cour donne sur une zone humide très active avec toutes sortes d'animaux sauvages.
Le grand site extérieur accueille graduation, mariage et autres activités de plein air.
Nous offrons un parking hors rue gratuit pour les véhicules invités, les petites remorques et les bateaux de pêche.
Le chalet a été construit au début des années 1950 et a été bien entretenu depuis.
Au fil des ans, il a développé une chaleur et un charme qui lui est propre. Marcher vers le ruisseau prend complètement le bruit du monde et vous n'entendez que la nature appeler.
Par une nuit claire, notre immense cour arrière offre des vues majestueuses sur le ciel nocturne et si vous êtes chanceux, peut-être une étoile filante ou un hibou ou deux.

No good deed goes unpunished. We communicated to the owner that he had a leak in his basement and upon leaving received a message that we should have told him sooner. He then added on pet cleaning fees for things that had been already cleaned up. Not pet friendly.

If you want to stay at a cozy cute cottage look no further. This cottage met our needs for a whole week and I wish we could of stayed longer. The yard was a great size to hang out and the park literally across the road was great for two young children. We enjoyed being directly across the road from Bye's Popcorn, now we know why theres a line for popcorn. The cottage had everything from books to games to extra linens and kitchen utensils. We had a few days of bad weather and it was just nice to relax and unwind at Lavida Cottage. Mike was a great host and always responded quickly. He even bumped the heat up to 70 on the nights that were freezing. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back in the future!

Great place for a quiet getaway with pets. Location close to the park, Lake Ontario waterfront, wineries and breweries. Nice large yard for pets to play. Cottage was very quiet even though it is on a main road.

Awesome location for seasonal fishing. The Owner Mike was very acomidating, friendly, and helpfull. Great local experience. The local food is amazing. The cabin was cozy. Honestly can't think of anything to complain about. Hope to stay again next year. Thanks for opening your cabin to us.

My cousin and I had took families to stay at the cottage, which was the perfect size for us, and it was outfitted with everything to make it a walk-in home for the weekend. The location was great, with enough stuff within a few minutes drive or even just walking distance to keep everyone entertained. Just a few minutes from the beach, boardwalk shops, carousel park, and the popcorn stand (I'm in the wrong business after seeing how many people stopped there) just across the street. There is a DG, produce market, and Topps close by so you can get whatever you need and you don't have to worry about packing a big cooler to take on your trip. The back yard was very big and has plenty of room for kids to play ball or whatever they want. Everyone enjoyed their stay and were all talking about coming back before we even left.

Our family loved our stay at the La Vida cottage. We were so close to Lake Ontario, Niagara Falls and many other wonderful family attractions. The cottage fit our family perfectly. With the large yard, privacy and location we couldn’t have stayed in a more perfect vacation home. Thanks for a great stay!

LaVida Cottage was so wonderful! The cottage itself was cozy and provided everything our family needed. My children loved playing in the huge yard and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The host, Mike, was always available and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely stay at LaVida Cottage again!

The property was just as it was advertised. The cottage worked well for our group of guys. I wish we were able to enjoy the back yard more because it looked like a great place to relax. We would definitely recommend checking out LaVida Cottage if you are looking to stay in the area.

My wife and I enjoyed our 4-night stay in mid-September. The cottage was cozy and comfortable; and it provided all the essentials we needed. The large back yard was perfect for our dogs. The location was very conveniently located for our varied day trips.

We enjoyed the huge back yard, watching people line up for popcorn (which I think we spent the most money on) the Labor Day weekend car show was huge, the littles loved the splash pad and playground at Krull park. Littles also enjoyed the rides. The cottage was perfect for our size group and parking was pleasant. There were a lot of spiders around but it’s what you get in a country setting. The fire pit was nice and private. The tall ones in the group only complained about the shower, but we were told about the past owner and her height and the beautiful garden she used to have. We enjoyed the spot and our littles (2 and 4) LOVED the idea of a bunk bed. The back bedroom is perfect for mom and dad and two kids. We felt like we could have our own privacy at night with my parents staying in the other bedroom. We highly recommend it to anyone. Wellsville NY family

This cottage was amazing! Mike the host had everything you could possibly need right down to the amazing and comfy bed!! We would stay here again for sure! Mike was a great host and always available. Renting process was smooth, easy. On the first day I lost my phone in a Chicago Uber with all rental info, phone #s, access code, etc. Mike was very helpful when contacted by my sister who lives nearby. We enjoyed our stay. It was as advertised.

The property is expensive if you bring your family. The description states the house holds 6 but you have to pay $25 per person on top of the rate. There are nicer places with better accommodations for that rate.

My family (husband, five yr old and 15 yr old dog) and I rented the cabin for a long weekend. This summer with Covid I’m never sure what to pack. Wish I would have known to bring coffee filters, salt, pepper. Things like that. And the noise from the road was surprisingly loud, woke us up while sleeping in the front room a few times. Wasn’t expecting that. But other than that it was the most wonderful, rustic get away for our family. My daughter really enjoyed the tire swing and fires! Thank you so much for all your hospitality. PS You have the most wonderful sheets!

Owner did a wonderful job making the place clean and welcoming. Nice bonfirepit and large yard. Enjoyed the little time we were in the cottage. One issue: price is advertised as $110 but when you get through check out and pay for a cleaning fee and taxes your final cost is $169.40. Probably not the owner's fault, but total cost should be more upfront.
