We had an amazing time during our stay in York. Christine was incredibly responsive and made sure we knew everything we needed to know about the house and even York in general. The house is great for a large family - we went with my in-laws and we never felt on top of each-other. The porch is a wonderful additional living area. The beach was a 10-minute walk and so convenient to get to every day via a private path. Our only "complaint" (if you could even call it that), is the lack of a professional cleaning service between guests. It is up to the guests to clean for the next family and this meant we had to do some cleaning when we arrived for sanitary purposes (bathrooms) and it took the entire morning of our last day (check-out) to clean to the required standards. It is worth noting, this was NOT a surprise as it was made clear in the contract before hand. If you are willing to do your own cleaning potentially in the beginning (depending on the quality of cleaning from the people before you) and end of your trip, go for it! Even so, we absolutely would recommend this property to any family looking for a place to stay in York close to the beach and large enough for a big family! Kudos to the hosts.

I've been visiting York Beach for many many years with my kids starting out camping and now via house rentals. Finding Christine & David's home was just perfect for our family of adult children able to visit during the week as time permitted. The house itself was perfectly set up to allow full family interaction and also some quiet time as needed. The location and short walk to the beach couldn't have been better or easier. I will look to book this place for future years to come. Christine was a wonderful host and I would certainly recommend her rental as a great option for your stay at York Beach. Wonderful spot for our family R&R vacation ! Plenty of space for both kids and adults to hang out separately and together. Easy 5 minute walk to beach. Both adults and kids enjoyed boogie boarding on perfect waves ! Hope we have an opportunity for another stay ☺️

This house was great for a multi-generational family vacation. 1st floor bedroom with bathroom access for grandparents, good bedroom setups upstairs, big kitchen for prepping meals and plenty of open space for toddlers. Looking forward to booking again!

The house was very clean and easy to find everything! The towels on the bed with the shell on them was a nice touch. It was so welcoming! The book was a great help, too! The welcome sign and little snacks was very sweet to greet us. It was a very short walk to Long Sands which was great! The decks and porch were perfect to sit abd relax or enjoy a meal at. A beautiful home that was a perfect fit for our family. Plenty of room, bedrooms and the separate family room was the icing on the cake. Very comfortable and great location. A great way to enjoy the Harvestfest weekend and my family all in one place. Thank you Christine

Christine’s place was just perfect for our young family. We had an excellent week at long sands and this beautiful home served as the ideal home away from home for us. Christine was very communicative and an excellent host. She even left some treats for the kids and bubbles for them to play with. We were a 5 min walk to the beautiful beach, where we did lots of walks and played all day. Plenty of space for all of us and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the three season porch, spent a lot of time out there enjoying the private backyard. Thank you Christine! We will be back for sure.

We had a wonderful vacation...Christine and Dave went above and beyond to meet our every need. Their lovely home was perfect for out family and we hope to return next year.

From the lovely upstairs back patio we could hear the waves from the beach! The house was convenient to all of the places we wanted to visit, and well-furnished with everything we needed.

This was our first time in Maine and we had a great time! The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and a 7 year old. Don’t let the picture of the outside fool you. There were more bedrooms then we even needed and a lovely all season room. The house and location were wonderful as was Christine. She checked in with us to make sure everything was ok and the added goodies were such a nice surprise! She made checking in and out so easy. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful beach house!

This space, comfort and location of this home were perfect for our family. We traveled with 3 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone, the layout was perfect for relaxing and entertaining nearby family. The location was close to everything including restaurants and a grocery store, plus the short walk to Long Sands Beach was very easy (even for small kids). The host, Christine, was welcoming, communicative and helpful from the moment we booked through our stay. Unexpected bonus was listening to ocean waves in the evening right from the balcony. Overall this home was ideal and perfect for a beach vacation - I cannot recommend enough!

We just returned from such a wonderful trip!!! This house is just perfect- located on a very quiet side street, just a short walk down the road leads to a path that brings you to Long Sands Beach! We walked to the beach daily (beach chairs, umbrellas, sands toys, etc) with no problem in regards to the distance, even for our kids (age 7 & 5) . We also enjoyed morning/evening walks to the beach, including our delicious meals out (Sun & Surf across from Anchorage Inn was delicious with a great view!) Experiencing low tide during various points in the day was an absolute dream, especially for my kids, and having the house located so close was the highlight of it all!!! The home itself is everything you could want- very well maintained inside and out! The lawn/greenery and outdoor space are immaculate. We really appreciated the outdoor space- front porch, side deck and enormous 2nd floor deck, connecting two of the upstairs bedrooms. It was bright and sunny, and a great way to enjoy coffee in the morning! There are 4 upstairs bedrooms, sharing 1 bathroom, and a 5th bedroom/bathroom on the first floor, which was perfect to give my in laws their own space. The layout on the first floor gave us so much room to spread out and with the multiple sets ups for dining space (outdoor bbq, sunroom dining area, breakfast bar) we were doing something different every day! The kitchen is very well equipped anything you would need to cook and plenty of plates/cutlery, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised by the additional storage freezer, giving us plenty of room to fit everything. We love the laid-back, wholesome feel of York! Christine is a very welcoming host with great communication! We hope to be back again in the future! Thank you!

Nice property. Beach access a little tough with our 2.5 year olds. But overall a good stay.

This home had everything we needed to enjoy a friends reunion. Access to the beach was easy-just a 5-minute walk. We could cook our meals at the house but it is also centrally located to area restaurants and close to grocery stores. The property is beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet. When the tide was high, we could hear ocean waves from the balcony! We were only limited by parking since there is space for 3 cars. To help keep our car numbers down, I parked my car overnight at the Hannaford grocery store without issue. Christine was kind and welcoming and checked in with me before, during and after my stay to see if we needed anything. All was pleasant. I highly recommend this home.

This home was everything we were promised. It perfectly suited our needs. The hosts kept in touch in case we needed anything, which we didn’t. It was all there.

Fabulous find and a short walk to the beach! We had a great time utilizing the screened in porch for tv with the kids while the adults made lunch and dinner in the well stocked kitchen! So much space for each family. Love the 2 full baths. We took morning walks to the Long Sands general store which was just a mile walk along the beautiful beach. Christine made everything SO EASY! Awesome communication and so willing to point us in the right direction for food and activities! Looking forward to coming back!

This was a great home! Clean, roomy, so close to the beach! Everything you need was there. The owners answered all questions and were available when needed during the week.

Christine was amazing to work with! Quick to respond to questions and very helpful! The home was beautiful and clean. Very spacious home. Walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed it so much and we already hope to come back next year!
