Beautiful Converted Barn - close to Newgale Beach & Pembrokeshire Coast
Récemment rénové, une grange Meadow de très haut niveau propose un hébergement de vacances spacieux en famille. Idéalement situé dans le village de Roch, le chalet est l'un des trois, autour d'une cour de gravier adjacente à la propriété des propriétaires. Le chalet bénéficie d'un parking hors rue pour deux voitures et de son propre jardin privé avec barbecue et banc de pique-nique. La plage de Newgale est à seulement un mile et demi et nous sommes également idéalement situés pour explorer les paysages côtiers que le Pembrokeshire a à offrir.
À l'intérieur du chalet, il y a un grand salon / salle à manger décloisonné avec plafond voûté et portes-fenêtres dans une véranda généreuse. La chambre double principale est au rez-de-chaussée et bénéficie également de portes-fenêtres donnant sur le jardin et de toilettes privatives. Il y a un petit escalier entre le salon principal et les autres pièces en bas. A l'étage, il y a une salle de bain avec baignoire et douche électrique et une chambre à deux lits adaptée aux adultes ou aux enfants.
Ce gîte est très attrayant à l'intérieur, conservant bon nombre de ses caractéristiques d'origine, notamment des murs en pierres apparentes, des poutres d'origine et des arches en brique. Dans le même temps, il bénéficie également d'équipements modernes tels que le double vitrage et le chauffage central au fuel.
Meadow Barn est généreusement équipé avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour rendre votre séjour confortable, y compris lave-vaisselle, réfrigérateur / congélateur et laveuse / sécheuse ainsi que FreeSat TV. Nous investissons dans des matelas de bonne qualité pour rendre les lits aussi confortables que possible et utilisons des draps 100% coton de qualité hôtelière ainsi que des couvertures en laine supplémentaires pour chaque lit. The property is well located in the middle of Pembrokeshire, 30mins max away from all main must dos and must sees in Pembrokeshire.
The host is very knowledgeable and gave us loads of advices about things to do with our children. The property is very well equipped and the encolsed garden was perfect for our young dog.dog.equipedchildren.

A comfortable blend of ancient and contemporary accomodation, full facilities, outdoor and in. Newgale beach blissful - in whatever weather, although we were lucky with the sun.

A very comfortable, well equipped and spacious property ideally placed for visiting the Pembrokeshire coast. The conservatory and sunny garden are very welcome features. Situated close to many superb beaches and an excellent choice of places to eat and drink this has been a very memorable holiday.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Paul and Juliet converted this barn into a top class holiday home. Close to beaches and everything what Pembrokeshire is famous for. Go for the puffins on Skomer Island (between April and August).

Plenty of space for a family of 4.
The property was perfect, we didn’t want or need anything.
The welcome pack was excellent and the information book covered lots of information.
There was a lovely touch when we arrived with homemade cakes, including Welsh cakes.

Lovely short break at Meadow Barn! We were kindly left traditional welsh treats on arrival. The barn was perfect. Lovely walks especially from St Davids back along the coast path. Thanks for a great stay!

We arrived at the property on Boxing day as a family of 3 (inc a teenager). The host had been in touch a good few weeks before our arrival with lots of information, including location, local amenities and things to do in the area. Being Christmas they even asked if we'd like a Christmas tree, which we accepted and it looked great! The property was superbly clean, warm, comfortable and very well equipped and we were supplied with a number of essentials including tea, milk, cleaning products, dishwasher and washing machine tabs to name a few. Paul and Juliet were even so kind as to supply some slices of Christmas cake and Mince pies.
For us, the location was superb, a short 15 minute drive to Haverfordwest for grocery shopping, 20 minutes to the fantastic St Davids, 2 minutes to Newgale Beach, 40 minutes to Tenby. The village is small and quiet, perfect for a short evening walk up to the Castle (now a hotel).
Despite the rural location, the wifi worked really for the duration of our stay.
We were sorry to leave in the end as the property felt like a real home from home and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends looking stay in Pembrokeshire. A real 5* property.

We stayed for 4 nights and were incredibly impressed.
We travel around the country a lot and have stayed in numerous places but this definitely ranks at the top of the list. (And it wasn't just the complimentary and very delicious cake on arrival!)
It was extremely spacious and comfortable. A very reasonable price (although it was November) and it is extremely well-equipped - everything you could possibly need except a food processor.
We would not hesitate to stay there again.

We spent 1 week at Meadow Barn in Roch and had a great time there. The premises are cozy and offer enough space for a family. The kitchen is well equipped with everything for daily live. Roch itself doesn`t offer much for sightseeing but the magnificent coastline is only 3 minutes by car. The owners of the property are very kind and just around the corner if anything has to be clarified.

We had the most wonderful stay at Meadow barn, we had so looked forward to it and it was everything we dreamt of and more. The area is stunning and the barn beautiful and homely. Paul and Juliet are the loveliest people, so kind and helpful and a joy to be around. The space was perfect for us, our baby and dog, the only thing that could have improved it is if we could let our dog off the lead but we knew this was the case when we booked and just decided to make do. We can't wait to come back again soon and already planning another trip back next year. Thank you so much!

This is a charming cottage; well furnished, well-equipped and spacious for a family of 4. The garden is lovely, there is enough space to park the car. Wifi is good. We had good contact with the owners who also provide tenants with ample information about the cottage and its surroundings. The location is great, close to the coast and plenty of sights in Pembrokeshire. We really recommend this place and would certainly stay again.

Property was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Although the village of Roach has little to offer, the cottage was ideally situated for local beaches, the Pembroke Coastal Path and St Davids, all a short drive away.

Perfect for what we needed. We took our young dog on her first holiday and decided to take my parents who are in their 80's as there were two bedrooms. Very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and a handy conservatory to dry off in after a soaking wet dog walk - or to sit in on a spring morning and look at the pretty garden. There was a huge field over the road for our spaniel to let off steam in with a pond and a view of the beach in the distance. The only thing for us was crossing the main road to the field as our dog is terrified of traffic. However, we didn't have to walk far and it was handy for the coast and the Rising Sun pub which we ate in a couple times. It was a 10 minute drive and served delicious food. The owners were very helpful and on hand nearby if needed. Sadly, it was a very wet week, but we went prepared and it was a nice place in which to have a comfortable rest. We would certainly visit again!

It was extremely comfortable and cosy, sofas and bed very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped.
The Welsh cakes and bara brith were lovely unexpected treats upon arrival.
The location was beautifully quiet, and well placed to explore Pembrokeshire. The owners were close by if they were needed, but not in any way intrusive.
I would highly recommend the property for anyone wanting to relax to recharge the batteries.

The cottage was beautiful. Very clean and had everything you needed. The welcome plate of cakes were a lovely touch. The hosts came and introduced themselves when we arrived. We had 2 dogs with us and the only downside was that the back garden wasn't secure to let our dogs out without being on a lead. There were gaps in the hedge and the gate didn't close. But we had a wonderful stay and would recommend it.

Meadow Barn was unusually well equipped to a very high standard with lots of thoughtful touches. Spacious, clean and cosy, the barn is very close to Newgale beach and only 15 mins from St David’s. We spent a happy week in late August visiting all the nearby beaches. Highly recommend.,

Perfect!
We had an absolutely lovely week at Meadow Barn. The Pembrokeshire Coast is beautiful and we spent everyday enjoying different surrounding beaches. Juliet and Paul were very welcoming, they gave us great tips, good communication beforehand and even lent our boys some body boards to use for the week. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely return again, thank you!
