El barrio donde se encuentra ubicado que es muy tranquilo. La casa es acogedora. Me gustó la terraza que tiene donde se puede uno sentar a tomar café y conversar. El trato de los encargados fue muy bueno y te hacen sentir como en casa.

La habitación no tenía todas las divisiones de concreto por lo que el ruido podía filtrarse. Creo que podrían colocar una cortina gruesa para que en las noches no se vea de afuera hacia dentro. El tamaño del lavabo era muy alto para una persona normal. Podrían modificar esto pues dificultaba mucho el asearse. Aun así no deja de ser un lugar agradable.

The Internet was partly super slow

Location good. Was in a nice neighborhood. They treated my mom and her sisters very nicely. They had a kitchenette in their room. Gardens were nice to hang around after a long day of walking around.

Just a small miscommunication on the payment but this was quickly sorted out the same day.

We stayed two nights at Casa Samaykuy and we had a lovely time there. The family who ran the guest house we exceptionally helpful! They looked after our luggage before our check in and the room was ready before the check in time. All very kind and friendly. The room was very comfortable and even had Netflix (which was nice to after a long over night bus)! The upstairs terrace with an open kitchen was a great asset and fully equipped ( a blender, microwave and some spices and seasonings). We were able to cook food, eating with a a beautiful view of the town and the mountains. On the day of our check-out the staff let us eat our dinner before we took our bus. The location is a walk up from the town but it was a very nice stroll and taxis were less than 7 soles back up. Location was definitely not an issue. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

the internet was not working. It was on the second storey with no lifts. So if your caryying a few bags then it might be to request ground floor accommodation in advance.

Dogs barking constantly. Internet fall down. If you are looking for a quite place dogs barking is a great issue. And it’s far from the center- you need to use taxi everywhere because the neighbourhood is doggy.

Really good value for the money. We ended up staying longer because of the riots and felt very safe in the guesthouse. Great shared kitchen and really clean rooms. Staff is really friendly and helpful. It's 20 minute walk to the center and even shorter to the airport. Good WiFi.

The staff were friendly and hospitable. It is close to the airport Some rooms had full size cookers.

It was difficult to sleep with many loud digs a barking during the night. Street noise is a problem with the rooms at the front of the property. One room we used had just a small camping style hob. It had a folding cover which is hazardous.

The hotel is in a residential neighborhood outside the center part of town. It's quiet and safe and convenient from the airport as well only 7-8 soles to town by taxi. I booked a single room with a communal kitchen but got the first three days in an apartment with a kitchen. Both are good for those who like to cook and have a kitchen. Seems a good value ratio and I would not hesitate to book it again.

Highly recommend here if you want to stay in a quiet area but close enough to walk to the centre. Very clean, comfortable room with good WiFi and hot, good pressure shower. The host was super helpful despite the language barrier and made us feel welcome.

The family is soooo nice, they even offered us a breakfast because we arrived at 6am. They are perfect people. The room is big and cosy, bathroom with hot shower.

The door of the bathroom doesn't go all the way up, which means in term of privacity that your partner is basically in the bathroom with you ahaha. Maybe a bit far from city center but there are taxis everywhere.

The owner and the family are really friendly and helpful. I had an amazing stay and they helped me in finding a taxi and the bus to Abancy. Thank you so much for everything. I had a blast!

Exceptional hosting with attention paid to the tiniest details. Highly recommended.
