this was a great little cottage for a short stay while we did some repairs to our personal home in Cudjoe. The cottage was small, but it had just what we needed. The pool was clean and the onsite laundry was a blessing. Quiet property with beautiful view for morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

The locale was A+, the cottage & amenities were C-.

Needs inside work. Need better dishware and silverware. More towels, esp washcloths. We spent most time in Key West.

Close to lots of activities as well as space to rest.

The photos of the property are deceiving. The water was covered with floating seaweed so couldn't fish from dock area. The screened porch screens were old, falling out, and had holes and loose areas. The kitchen stove was unbelievably dirty, both under the burners and inside the oven. The bathroom sink stopper handle wasn't there. Had to hold toilet flush handle to get toilet to flush properly. No room in bedroom and bed had to be pushed against wall to fit. Lampshade on lamp was ripped and damaged. Blinds in sliding door had 2 slats missing and the blinds on bathroom window didn't block outside viewing. The screen door bottom was all kicked in and dented and the close mechanism was missing. Trash was around the property and dog poop was on the grass. Open trash can in kitchen which was disgusting to look at the trash and allowed bugs entry. All around the foundation, there were holes made from some animal. The refrigerator had a bunch of rust bubbles on side. For the price of this property, none of this was acceptable. We feel the cost was way over what it should have been due to the condition of the property. If it were me, I wouldn't want my name associated with this property. I have pictures to justify my comments.

Clean and welcoming

This was an older duplex with the real feel of a Keys resident . Lots of grassy areas for my elderly dog to lay down and relax And a dock to sit at in the mornings and evenings. The furniture was cute inside . The screened porch was a plus. The kitchen area took me back to the 90s but was clean and had everything I needed . There’s not allot of cookware but Enough to do some lite cooking . I didn’t see a coffee pot but I don’t drink coffee so it wasn’t a problem . If I did, it would have encouraged me to get up and get going allot quicker . If you are wanting a brand new corporate vacation rental then this probably wouldn’t work . But if you like a little place in a good location with a real keys feel and at a reasonable price, then you should enjoy your stay here.

Convenient

Great spot to snag if you’re looking to be secluded away from the hustle and bustle of downtown key west but close enough to visit for the day. Perfect for the price and felt like a good deal. We enjoyed the pool and with our stay we seemed to be the only ones there. Has a grill, washer and dryer (quarters required), and a nice little dock to enjoy. The house included bug spray however bring some because you will need it. The gnats a mosquitoes will eat you alive in the evening.

We had a nice stay. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need. It was quiet and peaceful. The pool was warm and just steps away. We didn't bring our boat, but having a dock on property is also great. We hope to come stay again.

Bad

Clean and well kept cozy duplex(never heard neighbors once) Had are 2 shitzu’s with us and they loved the screened in porch. Much bigger than a hotel room plus a full kitchen and so close to key west, some days we were there twice a day. Would definitely stay again. We did have our boat with us so we really just slept and showered and we’re out and about all the time.

My third time staying at Cuddle Cottages. A great retreat. Relaxing, clean, and comfortable every time.

Great location! Good Restaurants nearby. And beautiful sunsets. Nice accommodations. We would recommend it.

Property was as we expected it to be! Comfortable and clean. Some items need attention in the screened room (doors and the fan...it was hot!). Comfortable bed and nice sheets, nice air conditioning. Would definitely return for the price and location.

Cottage was as expected but very few pots, pans, utensils, measuring cups, measuring spoons etc. Only one skillet and the handle was falling off, it was also all scratched up, it really doesn’t cost that much to get something newer every couple of years. Everything was falling apart, the bifold door, kitchen cabinets, found two huge live palmettos. Screen doors were broke and hard to keep closed. The place was just ok but really needs some maintenance and updates.

Great location fair price and relaxing.

Small, simple, clean. I try not to be hypercritical rentals have a high turnover rates. Always maintenance opportunities for any property, this is no different. However nothing would prevent us from returning or recommending this place. This property wouldn't fetch the same price in another location but the location is precisely what we're paying for. It was one of the more reasonably priced properties relatively close to KW. Also had one of the more flexible cancellation policies and allow for shorter bookings. Queen bed slept comfortably. 4 pillows & extra bedding available. Closet houses A/C mechanical. Dresser / wire shelving sufficient storage. Iron (didn't see a board) Pullout sofa, some might not like the fabric but we were fine. Sufficient space. One TV free channels, Hulu, Netflix, Prime, etc. Bathroom small clean, tub/shower was new / well maintained, water was hot quick, hairdryer. Kitchen as advertised limited supplies. No dishwasher & requested to wash before leaving. Paper plates & cottage silverware minimized washing. Screened porch table with 4 chairs, beach chair. Neither pool felt heated. Behind cottage clean, no handrail. Several chairs / lounges. Recently drained for maintenance. Building had coin laundry, life vest for the free kayak. Both are available one felt a little intrusive in the "Main House" backyard, had a handrail. Also the beach area. Limited ocean access but available. Smoke detectors / fire extinguisher

My husband and I had a lovely time in this little keys apartment. It was perfect for a short weekend getaway. Jennifer was extremely responsive. When we first got there the air conditioning was not working, but she had someone come out within 20 minutes! We greatly appreciated it. The doc is a short walk, and we were able to doc our boat there for the weekend. There were also a few restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance, which was awesome for us as we decided not to rent a car. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great birthday weekend!

The checkin and communication was smooth and easy. It was a cute little cottage. We would definitely stay here again.

After an initial mixup, the owners really came to the fore in sorting things out. As a generalisation, however, if a property is going to be advertised as 24/7 in terms of check-in, then there should be some sort of process to follow if the initial arrival is "out of hours" and there are immediate issues apparent.

Cottage was clean and nice. Hurricane Ian put a little damper on my vacation but I didn't let a little rain and wind stop me from having fun. Had the place to myself during the storm. Jen and Susan were quick to show up after the surge and assess. I helped cleanup a bit and the cleaning crews were in quickly to clean up the property after the surge pushed debris and seaweed all over.

This property was wonderful. Everything was as described and quiet

There was, two thingsthat we had issues with. It had to do with the "Handicapped". There isn't a boat ramp, the way the boats are docked, a person with a handicap, can not get on the boat. We stayed in #3 and there are 3 steps (1 entering the Apt., 1 into the kitchen and 1 up to the bathroom). It's hard to get around, when you have bad hips. I believe it was my fault for the problem, I don't remember telling anyone, that I was handicapped! Otherwise, I would stay there, over and over again!

Stayed here to join friends on Summerland Key who have the boat 😎It was great for us. Perfect spot to come after a day of boating. Dock& pool a huge bonus! Recommend Galley for breakfast 😄Thank you!

This spot is amazing, especially if you plan on bringing a boat and getting some fishing in! It’s got 6 spaces to dock your boat up and it’s literally 50 feet from the front door of the cottage! There’s 2 boat ramps on cudjoe key to launch from and only takes about 5-10 minutes to get from the ramps to the dock. The dock is awesome to chill on at night with an amazing breeze. We sat out there almost every night with some live bait and drinks and caught plenty of snapper (a few keepers too!). This cottage has a beautiful little patio to relax on aswell. And the pool is also amazing! Overall 10/10 for this awesome little place. It’s not fancy by any means, but has everything you could need and paradise is just a few steps from the front door!

No complaints. Clean, fully equipped, comfortable, and plenty of open space to walk the dogs.

Not sure how more than two people could stay here. There were many issues with the house. Top hinges on both screen doors were broken and this is how you entered and exited house. There were numerous tiles cracked and broken on floor in kitchen. Cable TV did not work properly and no return call from property manager. Water in bathroom sink had very little pressure. GPS and location of street address made house a little difficult to locate. Positives: AC worked very well, bed was comfortable, and refrigerator was large and cold. Location was close enough to Key West to make day trips.

We loved the location! Cute little property. Nice comfortable air conditioning in unit. The fan on the patio didn't work and we asked it to be fixed or replaced but we never got one. The shower was nice and hot and the water ran fully but the rest of the faucets in the house had very little water pressure. The television cable system was very poor. An owner tried to help us with that but we were unable to get many different channels, no decent cable channels, no guide and the sound on some of the channels was very poor. It would have been nice to have a few more dish towels in the kitchen and some matches to light the grill. The gas grill was left filthy by the previous renter. Very disappointing that we would have to clean that. We just used the charcoal grill. It's a cute place but there's a few things that need some attention.

Really enjoyed my time again. Just a perfect place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Key West. Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. See ya next year!
