Good location, friendly hosts and beautiful panorama. We got fresh bread on every day and was welcome box as well. The apartman was very clean. The wifi was good and fast. There is a jacuzzi as well. I recommend the farm experience which is an unforgettable, great experience.

There was no explanations about the use of the jacuzzi: the temperature didn't go more than 28C, so it is not usable in the winter months.

bed too hard a bit noisy cause the bedrooms doors are directly on the sharing kitchen/living for information : no animal by the property, they are in a farm few minutes driving distance to the house (free visit with owner which is nice)

The hosts Paula and Luis are the nicest people, the view, the room, the fresh bread every morning, all the tips. Visit when you can! We had a fabulous time, thank you Paula and Luis for sharing your little piece of heaven!

Luís and Paula were amazing hosts. Even though it's stated on booking that there isn't any breakfast, they were still nice enough to put fresh bread and some supplements in a basket every morning. They also gave us a lot of recommendations for things to do, restaurants and overall tips for the island. If you have the opportunity to do the cow experience we HIGHLY recommend it. 10/10 would go back!

It's a bit far from the centre. But luckily we had a car so for us it wasn't really a problem.

Hosts are super friendly! The activity with the calfs is a great experience, Luis passion lights up when talking about all the things he does/wants to do. The place is great, good location and beautiful views!

The room was big and the kitchen fulltime equipped. The host brought fresh bread in the morning. We enjoyed the jacuzzi en the gorgeous view.

My girlfriend and I had wonderful stay here. The room has a beautiful view to the ocean and the jacuzzi was great to relax. The warm bread in the morning and the calf feeding activity made it even better.

The jacuzzi water could've been cleaner. The bathroom shower could improve with a door/cover, to prevent water from flooding the bathroom.

Highly recommend! Fabulous stay with a lovely view of the sea. Luís was very helpul in arranging local activities for us to take part in. We also got a chance to feed the young calves. Luís was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions patiently. The garden is very tranquil, and a great place to relax in or have an outdoor meal, and look at the idyllic village around. We also availed of the hot tub in the garden. As a bonus Luna would visit every day to say hi!

Excellent accomodation, with amazing and kind hosts, couldn't recommend more. The views are incredible, the shared kitchen has everything you'll need and feeding the cows was super cool. Room was very large and spacious and impeccably clean. Parking just outside the house.

Maria and Luis are fantastic hosts! They leave you on your own but never hesitate to help out and are very lovely! In the morning we had fresh bread, cheese, apple juice and milk (all local products) for free! Obrigado for everything!!!

what an incredible place, the house is very beautifully decorated and made very comfortable! we enjoyed the fact that we could use the kitchen to cook our meals and the amazing garden for the morning yoga practice and the evening chilling jacuzzi :) it was so so nice of Paula and Luis to bring us fresh bread in the mornings and some local cheese!! these guys were very welcoming and our experience here was very relaxing and we would definitely recommend it! the location is perfect to explore the whole island!

The light in the bathroom made a weird buzzing noise when switched on.

We were so impressed with our experience at this gem of welcoming, comfortable, safe and clean accommodation. Close enough to amenities and the major centre while nestled close enough to the peace and quiet of the country side. You can walk to the supermarket in 10 minutes. You can walk south to the fishing port in 15 minutes or you can stay put and enjoy the beautiful southern facing, sun bathing experience. The owners, Luis and Paula made our visit memorable and we felt completely at home. That is remarkable. There is so much to say about this visit to Terceira, but it goes without saying that it was especially because of the comforts and peace of mind that came with staying here at Basalto Negro in particular. Thank you so much for looking after all of our needs. We hope to see you again on our next visit and to recommend you highly to our family and friends. The place has 3 rooms with a shared kitchen, living room, garden and jacuzzi. You need a car , the city and all attractions in the island are relatively close, super is 2 minutes by car

1. When we arrived the room was unventilated, we left the window open and in the next day it was much better. 2. The doors' handles and lockers are making noise.
