We had our family over for a long weekend stay and this listing was absolutely amazing! Mary is such a responsive and helpful host. The views were breathtaking and we were truly impressed with the house and amenities.

We are a group of 8 women friends who stayed at La Costa Villa recently. Our goal was to get away from the cold and dreariness of the Northeast and luxuriate in the sun and sea. All our expectations were met and Villa LaCosta was the highlight our trip. Mary was a delight to work with. Her responsiveness and consideration of our needs was impeccable. If we needed anything it was taken care of. She has a wonderful way of creating a luxurious space: lots of lovely items for us to enjoy from snacks to bubble bath, quality linens, appliances, furnishings, and more. Everything was amazing. The rooms were all lovely and beds very comfortable. Hearing the ocean at night was indeed bliss. I grew up in the neighborhood so it was a magical homecoming. A new boutique & home design space opened up down by the post office that we all enjoyed. The local beach was beautiful and we enjoyed being just a short drive to many nearby beaches for long walks at sunset Bottom line: Villa LaCosta is a dream! I definitely will book again.

Our family spent 4 nights beginning New Year’s Eve. The house was awesome, views from the terrace were expansive, the location was amazing. Walk to Country Kitchen for breakfast burritos and Dukes for a great seaside meal. It also a great location for accessing the city while still enjoying Malibu. The homeowner was very responsive to any hiccups that occurred during our stay. We would definitely go back!

Amazing house! My family came into town for thanksgiving and we drank coffee on the balcony every morning to watch the sunset and walked down to the beach every single day. Mary replied very quickly to everything and helped with the questions and concerns so quickly. Cooking in that big kitchen was so fun with the family! Would love to come back again sometime! 10/10 experience.

Had a great stay here for my daughters wedding weekend! The house is as described and the view of the ocean is stunning! Made for great pictures before the event at Calamigos. Would definitely stay here again!!

Excellent location and views! We especially enjoyed our fireside evenings on the deck. Some amenities were disappointing, especially for such an expensive property. Specifically, the TV in the MBR and the microwave on the lower level didn’t work; there weren’t any pillowcases for the extra pillows found in the walk-in closets; toiletries were substandard; and the potted plants on the main deck were dead or dying. We had trouble with the front door access, until the manager explained that the manual latch must be kept disengaged by pressing the button on the side of the door. None of these things prevented us from enjoying our stay, but they detracted from the quality of the accommodations relative to the best VRBO properties at which we have stayed.

The pictures are not a fair reflection of the property. Which was tatty, unhygienic and overall unacceptable or the price paid. We found other accommodation as we were not willing to stay there!
