Tranquil studio apartment on peaceful lake in Maine
Magnifique studio au 2ème étage entièrement meublé avec terrasse donnant sur un lac paisible dans le Maine. Niché haut dans les arbres avec de magnifiques couchers de soleil. Une chambre, avec lit queen, salle de bain complète avec douche spa et vapeur et futon dans le salon qui peut accueillir deux personnes. Kitchenette, incluant laveuse / sécheuse, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, four à convection et plaque chauffante à 2 brûleurs. Le studio comprend le chauffage par le sol, la climatisation et le Wi-Fi. Accès au lac et plus de 800 pieds de façade sur l'eau. Idéal pour la natation, la pêche, le canotage, le kayak et les planches à pagaie, pas de jet-skis. We have been looking for a place to stay so we could visit family in Waldoboro and this apartment fit the bill! It had EVERTHING we needed, lacking nothing at all! The kitchen was fully equipped, although we didn’t have the opportunity to use it, the bed was comfy and there were many other thoughtful amenities. It felt like home! Our hostess was wonderful, answered our few texts right away. We will definitely be back!

Our “studio” was more of a large one bedroom unit with high ceilings, many windows and sky lights, wood floors, comfy bed, charming place. It was spotlessly clean, very private and exceeded all of our expectations. It was a great location to explore the many areas of central coast. Our favorites: Camden and maine botanical gardens. The weather was not great and if it has been we would have enjoyed a splash in the lake which is a very short walk to the owners private dock. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this property and they owners.

Kathleen's rental is so attractive and lovely with many thoughtful amenities that make for a comfortable stay - great coffee, steam shower, a basket of wash cloths, private entrance, plants, beautiful high ceilings, skylights, and lighting. A lot of care goes into assuring a great stay. It's perfect for a couple. The location is awesome - close to Rockport and Camden where there are plenty of great restaurants - Salt Wharf in Camden for one! It felt like a home away from home. A+ host and apartment.

Our stay was wonderful. Located very close drive to Camden or Rockland on a beautiful tranquil lake - away from the traffic congestion.
It checked all the boxed for the description. I wish we had had more time to rent a boat and play on the lake.
Exceptionally clean with all the amenities+ some. The host was barely there but responded quickly to any question.

Kathleen & crew were so very helpful during our stay at this gorgeous studio apt. It was a bit warm in the bedroom but in the main room was colder A/C. The shower was an experience and the warm wooden beams were delightful in the main room. Would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the is rental in Hope. Our family of 4 (kids 2 and 6) fit comfortably and had everything we needed. This a very well built home and was incredibly cozy with fresh plants and warm fixtures throughout. It is an easy walk down to the lake. Would have been easy to swim off their dock but we chose to go to a local shallow sandy spot near Camden given young kiddos. Beds were comfortable. May want to bring black out shades if needed especially for the pull out bed in the living room. We used eye masks so it was no Issue for our crew except the toddler! There are plenty of games but not necessarily toys or such if kids are young so will want to bring that. We were visiting family in the area and this was easy 20min drive to so many destinations! We definitely will stay here again!

This VRBO rental exceeded expectations. Despite being attached to the owners' residence, privacy wasn't an issue. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable, with a great deck view. The loft was cozy, and the kitchen well-equipped, including a washer and dryer. Little touches like coffee and chocolates were appreciated. Great location near Camden, Belfast, and Rockport. Solid choice for a getaway.

The property is just as listed. Owner was responsive ( although we did not meet) and gives you plenty of privacy.
One suggestion is to have one more comfy chair so a couple can watch TV and relax.

Quiet, tasteful, pleasant place just 2 mins walk from lake with great kayaking. Good kitchen and TV. Shower needs a strong hand to turn on and off.

Great little apartment near a small lake. Very clean. Less than thirty minutes to Rockland, Rockport and Camden. It feels secluded, but has a grocery store in the cute town of Union 5 minutes away. Would stay again.

Wonderful studio in peaceful location. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bedding. Great base for our day trips to Monhegan Island, Camden and Rockland. My husband and I enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I came up for a four-day weekend to get away from the noise and chaos of our house being remodeled. And get away from constant lawnmowers and leaf blowers in suburbia. The apartment was cozy, appointed well, and had everything we needed. Kathleen and her partner were extremely welcoming, kind, and accommodating. We had a great time and we will be back.

It was an easy drive to everything we wanted to do.
The location is secluded and quiet, which we appreciated after long days of hiking!

This was our second stay with Kathleen. The space is cozy, quiet and well cared for. We love the location because it is quiet and feels centrally located for travel to Rockland, Rockport, and Camden. Kathleen was so accommodating when we needed to adjust our check-in time. A great place to re-charge and the fall foliage is beautiful!

We had a great stay. Kathleen was responsive and helpful w info prior to our arrival. Once we got there everything was as described.

Hosts were awesome, very clean and spacious for 2 guests. We were able to visit Acadia National Park, area towns, and Cape Elizabeth were all within an hour and 45 minutes away.

Peaceful interlude
We were busy in town. Kathleen’s place provided a very relaxing, stress-free location to retreat to that was very close to Rockland. The place is beautifully decorated with all of the comforts that we needed. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

October Camden visit
Kathline and Andy were great. It gave us everything we wanted for a perfect week. Close to Camden and Rockport, and a great kayaking lake to paddle around on. We will most definitely come back and stay with them again.

Convenient to Camden/ great host
Very well cared for and tidy. The property is convenient to the midcoast region (Camden and Rockland). The host was great and even mailed back a charger on her dime (thanks). Access to the lake was apparently not adjacent to the property, but since the weather was poor, we did not use it. Overall a neat and well care for. Enjoyed the trip.

Great Condo, super clean & sorry cute
Awesome 2nd floor condo!! Property was very clean and nicely decorated. Condo was equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. Access to the hot tub was a big plus. Bed was very comfortable. Easy access to Route 1. Very private setting.

Pleasant Stay
The host Kathleen was very nice and helpful. I was under the impression we would be looking over a large pond/ lake, and though they own property on the lake, it's not viewable from the apartment. It's on a different lot.The area near the pond needs cleaning up to really use it. It had the things we needed while staying there but could use some updating in regard to the furniture. The bedroom could use some curtains that block the light while sleeping also, as it's quite bright in the morning, especially with the skylight overhead.The shower was quite a challenge to figure out how to use it and not real user friendly... It wouldn't be good for children... The host couldn't be nicer and their dog Bella was a cutie

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful location
This is a cheerful, clean and very comfortable place to stay. Having the lake so close is amazing for swimming. We had a great time. Kathleen was very nice and accomadating.

Excellent stay
Many nice features about this property. Very convenient to Camden and the Maine Coast in a lovely rural setting. Everything was easy. It would have been perfect if there had been coffee. After a long drive to get there, we fell asleep easily on comfortable bed, but in the morning: no coffee. We had brought our own food stuffs, but somehow just expected coffee to be furnished. . Lesson learned, I guess. The host is very upbeat and it’s safe, clean, good vibes.

Loon Lodge
Nice location away from things. Kathleen was very responsive with any questions we asked. Very quiet and peaceful. Not a full kitchen, but we still cooked. It's clear that the owners worked hard to create a nice space for people.

A great week near Rockport
We had an amazing week at this location. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. The steam, multi jet shower was fun and the hot tub got a lot of use. We enjoyed the lake-warm enough for swimming and paddle boards. It was within 5-15 minutes of restaurants and shopping even though it was “off the beaten path”. Very peaceful and quiet location. The owner was super nice and quickly responded to texts. The kids also liked Bella the dog and watching the chickens from the window (you couldn’t hear them at all). There is a lovely small deck off the back which is great for sitting outside and em relaxing for a bit as well. Defineily recommend!!

A peaceful alternative to crowded Camden
Kathleen was lovely. Everything was clean and bright. The property is spacious and no more than 15-20 minute drive to anywhere you want to go in Camden, Rockport, Rockland and Cushing. The perfect place to stay in the mid coast area.

The property was beautiful and Kathleen went above and beyond for our family. My daughter had a severe allergic reaction when dining out. Kathleen helped us by giving us contact information about the nearest ER and called the ER in advance to let them know we were on our way. We are truly very grateful for help!

Great, quiet, CLEAN, stay near Camden
We were looking for a quiet place to stay while visiting the Camden and surrounding area. The space was very clean, and I'm picky. Well appointed for basic meal prep, comfy bed and plenty of space. 15-20 min from anything we needed. Would definitely recommend and return if ever I'm in the area again. Thanks Kathleen!

Family vacation
Enjoyed our stay at Kathleen's apartment during our first trip to Maine. It's about a fifteen minute drive to Camden, so close enough to visit but far enough away to feel remote. Apartment had everything we needed, including washer and dryer. Very comfortable and convenient. Kathleen is also perfect host - available to answer any questions via text while providing a private experience. I did think that the house was actually on the lake, but it is further down the road and beautiful, as is the entire region.

Great place!!!
Only stayed for two nights…Excellent location, near many mid-coast towns and just over an hour to Acadia. Very quiet cabin feel and very nicely decorated. Would love to stay here again. Oh, and the host was very polite and prompt.

What a lovely warm comfortable space! It was so quiet and peaceful. Definitely the best vrbo/similar we’ve stayed in. Not too far from the coast and Camden so we were easily able to go hiking and to dinner in town . We didn’t explore the lake because it rained so much but they have easy access. Kathleen and her family were available yet totally respectful - we didn’t even know they were there. All I would recommend is that the listing make clear the WiFi is spotty (for now - they are putting in fiber optic). Was not a big deal though. Thanks Kathleen!

A restful retreat
Loved Kathleen’s place for our 3 day stay. It was centrally located - just a short drive to Camden/Rockport/Rockland on a quiet lane. Very clean. Cozy and cute. Everything you need plus more! We loved it and hope to return soon.
