It is the cutest cottage! Had everything we needed. Saw deer grazing in the yard while sitting on the balcony in the early evening!

This is an excellent property.
Host is great and very helpful.
Would recommend and will be back

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rose cottage! Beds were very comfortable and the space is very cozy. Our favorite spot was the back porch. We love being able to walk to all the amazing restaurants and shops so we never had to worry about parking downtown. Included everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely rent again if we’re back in the area.

This place is beautiful and peaceful. So calming and relaxing! We had a great stay!

This was an excellent choice. Very clean, excellent location. Well described on the listing. We hope to make it back someday.

Beautiful and cozy cottage. Walking to town is very quick and easy. The perfect place to stay in Eureka.

My sisters and friends have stayed at Rose Cottage several times over the last few years, an annual week long trip...so when my husband and I wanted a place to celebrate our 47th anniversary, I knew exactly where we should go. We even postponed our trip by a week when it was already taken on the actual date! Everything about the Rose Cottage is perfect, from the first time you see it all nestled in the trees to the gorgeous views, the peaceful quiet, and every single thing inside. All the furnishings are lovely and comfortable, too...honestly, every single time I've been there I take pictures to try and capture the essence of this beautiful place. They turn out great, but really you need to see it for yourself. Couldn't possibly rate this higher. And Stan is a wonderful host who gets back to you right away if there are any questions. We'll be back again and again.

My college-age son and I stayed at Rose Cottage in order to attend a wedding at the historic St Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Everything at Rose Cottage was beyond perfect.
A little tricky to find but Stan’s directions are spot on.
The house is located on a pebble path that leads right down to the streets of the historic district. Steps away from good coffee and great food.
Inside the cottage is magical. Perfectly appointed and comfortable.
Can’t wait to have another excuse to stay again!

This is a beautiful home that is located so conveniently to down town. We will defiantly stay here again.

The cottage was perfect to every little detail. Loved it!

Cottage was beyond cute. It was hard to get to and the walkway to the porch was stone steps...tricky with knee replacement
Great electronics and fall color was so beautiful

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Eureka Springs at Rose Cottage. Perfect in every way!

It was like a fairytale cottage. We absolutely loved it!

I’ve stayed in this lovely cottage before and plan to return; this is a secluded, comfortable and beautiful cottage conveniently located close to the historic downtown area. Everything you need for a fun getaway spot - impeccably maintained and beautifully decorated. Love the views and the quiet. Also appreciate the kind responsiveness of the owner. This is a gem!

My sister wanted a Lord of the Rings themed bachelorette party. I was so excited to find this place. Though not a hobbit house, it had all the charm we were looking for. We enjoyed coffee on the back porch in the mornings. There were two beds so we never bothered each other. The small kitchen allowed us to save money eating out by cooking. I will definitely stay here again.

Rose Cottage is a super cozy stay in a great location to access everything downtown. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Stan's quaint Eureka Springs Cottage. Being close enough to walk to everything was great. The instructions were easy to follow, the house well furnished and clean. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Wonderful get away. We will definitely be returning!

Overall, a nice place quiet and laid back parking was interesting, but that was what we were looking for my wife and sister to connect.
Thanks
Stan

We visit Eureka Springs several times a year. Our usual spot was not available so we chose Rose Cottage. It was so cozy and charming. We will definitely be back!

It’s a picturesque cottage, nestled on a lush lot next to the woods. We really enjoyed our stay, but the listing shouldn’t boast about “two private bedrooms” because the bedroom on the first floor only has a small folding screen separating it from the main gathering space. It is not at all “private.” This room should have a curtain to close it off at night. Also, as other reviewers have stated, the gravel road that you must drive down to access the cottage is a real pain. Even though Eureka Springs has many streets with steep hills and sharp turns, this driveway should be noted in the description. It has a very sharp turn, which on its own wouldn’t be bad, but on one side is a jagged stone wall, and on the other side is a steep wooded hill. We hugged the wall driving around the corner to avoid driving down the hill, and we scraped our wheel on one of the rocks in the wall. The horrible driveway led us to avoid any trips that required driving. As the owner has stated in replies to reviews, it’s not impossible to drive on this path, but both drivers in our group absolutely hated it. Otherwise, the location is convenient, situated at the top of all the shops and restaurants you want to visit. Just outside the cottage, you can walk a gravel path in the woods that leads to stairs down to the road, which leads to all the action. This meant we didn’t have to deal with parking downtown, which appeared to be a pain for the people who had to do it. Overall, a very nice stay with a couple annoyances that we wish were made clear in the description.

This cottage is in a perfect spot to hike and also walk down to the lower street. It is also a short walk to the trolley stop. We loved watching the deer and squirrels.

This is the second time to have stayed at Rose Cottage and we hope to return annually. The house is in a great location, easily walkable into town and a number of restaurants even closer. The amenities are even more than is needed. Our group has stayed in many other homes in Eureka Springs, and this is by far our favorite. Our host has provided everything we could need, and we thank him for another great experience.

The cottage was nicely decorated with comfortable amenities. My friend scraped her car on the stone wall trying to avoid the steep drop-off going around the curve in the driveway. The road needs work as it is washing with all the rain.

We enjoyed staying at this sweet jewel box of a cottage. The drive to the front door is a bit challenging (narrow with a blind corner) however it seems that we were the only ones to use this access with the exception of a lawn service.

The Rose Cottage was the perfect place for a short Girlfriend's Getaway! It was very comfortable and in the perfect location. A trail just behind the house will take you directly into downtown within 5 minutes and provides its' own special excursion for the day (a spring is just below the house and look for the fairy houses!). The house sits up on a hill above the downtown area and this prevented us from hearing all the downtown car and motorcycle noise that can be pervasive in Eureka Springs.
The only suggestions we have are minimal: the ice machine in the refrigerator did not work and some extra blankets would've been nice to have because the air conditioner works so well! The kitchen is better equipped for heating up leftovers than it would be for cooking a meal - which was perfect for us because we ate our way through Eureka Springs! The coffee and Keurig were really nice to have but be sure to pack sugar/sweetener for your coffee if that's how you like it. The road leading to the house is narrow (welcome to Eureka Springs!) but my full-sized SUV handled it just fine.
Overall, we would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a fun experience. Oh! And I truly had the best steak of my life so far at the Grotto - be sure to get a reservation!

Rose Cottage was a magical gem of a find tucked in the woods. Upon opening the door and entering, there were squeals of delight. We fell in love with the ambiance, decor, window seats, porches, bedrooms and amenities. Thank you for sharing.

Well kept and clean cottage near downtown. Decorated very cute! Have no complains of house or communication with owner.

This cottage was a wonderful stay for our family since our daughter had a whole floor with restroom upstairs while we enjoyed the downstairs with the patio. The furnishings were shabby chic and we absolutely loved the location. Quiet surroundings but still close enough to the downtown attractions. Would recommend!

Quaint home conveniently located steps away from historic downtown. You can literally walk down a short path, and down some steps, and
you’re in town. Great back porch to sit and enjoy nature. (Saw deer several evenings and mornings feeding in the backyard). That having been said, there are definitely some improvements (that could be accomplished with not much expense) that would add significantly to the stay of guests. Need to add curtains for privacy and to block early morning sun. There are no closets, so you either use a hat rack or set them on a table or chair. A chiffarobe could be added upstairs and down while keeping the “quaint theme”. Keep in mind that there isn’t a bedroom downstairs, just a bed in an open area( no privacy). One more desperately needed fix would be to add (at a minimum) a window air unit upstairs. The central ac does not cool upstairs. Fortunately, the temp was moderate during our stay, but it would have been miserable in the heat of summer.

Our first time to stay in a house in Eureka. So glad we chose the Rose Cottage. The location can’t be beat. Such a close, great shaded walk to downtown shopping and eating. We adored the furnishings and space. The backyard deer spent their time resting and eating right outside the back porch. Highly recommend!

The property is a short walk to downtown...the crescent and eateries...we especially appreciated the 5 deers grazing in the back yard when we arrived...just perfect!

We had a great time staying in the beautifully restored Victorian Cottage. Loved sitting on the porch with a beautiful view. It is a great combination of private and beautiful, but also well located in town and easy to walk or drive anywhere you want. The small driveway that several other reviewers mentioned was just fine for our GMC Yukon. My kids loved being upstairs and they loved the "secret room." My only drawback is that the kitchen is more of a reheating kitchen than a full meal prep kitchen. I think a skillet would be a nice addition for pancakes/eggs in the morning.

Most excellent stay in this cozy historical home...Very clean , quite and private. If you’re looking for some quality down time ROSE 🌹 COTTAGE is a sure bet.

We have so enjoyed our long weekend at Rose Cottage. The decor of this place is just amazing! It is close to everything, yet tucked away on the hillside in such a peaceful setting. We loved watching the deer feed in the mornings and evenings. We will definitely come back next time we visit Eureka Springs!

This is our third time staying at Rose Cottage. It is just beautiful, close to town, clean, peaceful and just wonderful. I cannot say enough about this place. It is set up to sleep 4 comfortably with 2 lovely bathrooms. Stan is awesome as well and is very attentive and easy to communicate with. We will be back again!

Such a cute little cottage! It is wonderfully decorated and felt very secluded although it was only a few minutes to walk to town. A lot of places in town are closed or have reduced hours due to Covid, but Eureka Springs is still a worthwhile destination, particularly if you can stay in this little gem!
4.8
We spent mornings and evenings on the beautiful porch. Location is great as we walked to town and dining each day while still having peace and serenity at the cottage.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Rose Cottage - such a beautiful little house!!
