Rental size and bedrooms were great with plenty of room,floors were dirty, and caused the kids feet to turn black while going barefoot, how pricey the villa was linen should have been provided, other than that the stay was amazing with family and kids.

We were a group of 14 guys who rented two 10-person cottages. We came for a bachelor party and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Our neighbors were friendly, the cleaning staff was swift, and the manager was accommodating. Overall, it was exactly what we needed, and we would all return for another weekend.

Upon arrival to the unit, we were able to walk in without a code. There were 3 doors, a side door and 2 sliding doors, and not one door had a working lock. Maintenance came to fix the side door lock. As for the sliding doors, we used the wooden boards to keep the door closed. as it was getting late and we needed to get dinner. We never had internet during our 2 day stay. Supposedly, someone came to work on the internet connection while we were out but the internet still was not working. We found it quite odd that we were asked to leave leftover food if possible for the foreign exchange students who clean the place. We did like the set up of the unit. Maintenance did come over to help quickly. The taxi for the rentals worked out great...our favorite part. We will not stay here again.

Overall my stay was ok. I liked the space and the fact it had a washer and dryer in unit. I liked it had cooking utensils and large deck. However I was told I had a unit that was remodeled but it was very outdated. The doors didn't have locks and the full size beds were not comfortable to sleep in. The unit also only has one tv in living room.

Fishing was good. I was very disappointed the police department. We docked downtown and was harassed by the local police department about parking and boat loading. If you don't want fishmen, just let me know.

When we got to the house, it looked like it was in pretty good condition. However as we continued to stay inside it, we quickly realized how dirty it actually was. You could see dust layered on the coffee table’s bottom piece, and dirt all over in the corners of the bathrooms. When we actually swept before we left, there was dirt that was not from us. I should have expected that when my feet left prints in the shower the next morning. Was it so bad that I wouldn’t go again? No, but they could be cleaned better. There was also water damage in one of the front windows and from the skylight.

Furniture was great, overall it was ok but all the doors need oiled and shaved down as all doors and kitchen cabinets squeeked so bad it woke everyone up. Bathroom door had to almost be slammed to get it to shut. Blinds need updated as some broken or in poor shape. No sponge to wipe anything down or cleaning solution so if you ask people to clean before they leave you should supply the materials, no dustpan. Back stairs are loose and patio was filthy dirty. Room sizes are sufficient but no small tables in between the beds so you have to set your things on the floor.

The rental was very spacious and clean. We would definitely do this again. I got the deal through Living Social. This unit comes with plates, glasses, bowls, silverware and a dish washer. Next time I would bring my own food to cook. I didn't enjoy the dining experiences at the local restaurants. The unit comes with a washing machine and dryer as well. You will need to bring detergent.

The weather (fish) didn't cooperate as well as it did in seasons past, but thanks to a comfortable (clean/dry) place to rest our bones after a few hard days on the water and the hospitality of the Island Club and the rest of the good folks on the Island, as always, it was a great time.

The Island is a fun place to go for a few days and they have added several good restaurants since our last visit. We're out of the 18-34 demo, so we selected Sun.Tues for or time.The cottage hasn't been updated since, well a long time. It's dark dingy & old. Lots of dead bugs on the wall. It's very much like an old Motel 6 only larger. Everything but the toaster worked & the shower did have plenty of hot water. The management team was polite & helpful when we had a couple questions. We've stayed in cottages elsewhere & they beat these.

Overall good. Clawfoot broken things. Curtain bar and refrigerator shelves missing. Maintenance responded quickly. However it was broken when we arrived so I'm not sure why they allowed us to check in with broken things. I was scared cousin bar would fall on one of the kid's head. Couches sink in when you sit. Should be replaced. Water pressure low in kitchen sink.No wifi in rooms. It's 2018 wifi should be everywhere.

Everyone was really nice and helpful. The only thing I would say that needed fixed was to have the carpet and floors cleaned more. Our feet were black from how dirty it was, but to be fair it is in the wooded area. I would return again, nice place to stay.

The amount of bugs crawling around our place was disgusting. When we left on Sunday and stripped the beds we found bugs in the beds. Will not be staying here again for that reason. Also, there was a broken chair and a broken couch.

When we were told to bring our own towels, I didn't think about needing kitchen towels and dishrags. We had a dishwasher in the kitchen, but did not bring dishwasher soap. We were supposed to be able to connect to the internet at the pool area, but it did not work despite repeated assurances that it would be fixed. The airconditioning did not keep the house cool during the day. It would catch up late in the evening. We did not have keys to the golf carts when we arrived, but someone brought them to us within 15 minutes of our call. Overall, the house was okay, but more run down than we expected. We ate at 6 different restaurants and enjoyed them all. We did not run out of things to do or interesting places to go. The pool area was really nice and well maintained, with the exception of the lack of the promised internet. We probably will return to Put-in-Bay and will recommend it to our family and friends.

We love the Island Club We rented 3 houses this year/They are great, clean and nicely furnished. This is our 20th year or more that we have rented these houses. They take good care of us. Much better than a hotel room. Every year the girls want to go and more join us. I would highly recommend the Island Club!!

Staff is very willing to help with anything. However the house was not very clean. We had to wash all dishes b4 using them. The shower head in 2nd bathroom is pulled out of the wall. Skylight in same bathroom leaks. Curtain rod for front sliding door is broken and hanging. The only screen was in the front sliding door. All the rest are either missing or ripped.

everything was fine, inside was very clean, had a few problems, grill was filthy and covered in grease, we asked twice for it to be cleaned, no one ever came, so we had to clean ourselves,also our cart never showed up at checkin, had to sit and wait on deck and call 3 times to finally get it, when we get it they requested to physically HOLD my credit card, last problem, due to weather we considered staying another night on monday, talked to woman who said she was the manager to get availability and price, she never called back, so we just ended up staying another night. this was the second year we stayed here, will probably consider upgrading next year. in the end you get what you pay for.

We had a great time. The house clean and was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the island, especially the winery. We were all dissappointed in the Menus this year. He did not sing as much, there was a lot of breaks in his songs, he didn't change outfits like he used to and his music choices are not as fun. We made the reservation several months ago. As we prepared for the trip and read other reviews on the web, we became concerned that the house might be in terrible shape. We were shocked in how nice the place really was. We had a couple of minor problems, all taken care if live as we were moving in. In general the furniture was very good, a new large flat screen with satellite service, relatively new refrig, stove, microwave, and new mattresses. Blew us away. Other than an island wide invasion of MayFlies--the vacation was great and over too soon.
