Excellent location

I was happy with all the arrangements. I suppose my only problem was that there was no normal level table to eat or work at. Just a rather high kitchen island and a coffee table. But I guess that's just my personal preference, as I had to work.

Very confortable and coozy 1 bedroom apartament, allmost new. We had everything that we needed and more, was clean, near by supermarket and taxi stop, having 2 bathrooms was a nice pluse. My boyfriend loved the 55' smart tv in the bedroom. A fully equipped kitchen with a balcony and nice view of the City was perfect for breakfast, lunch and quiet evenings.

During registration doorman was a bit unpolite and bossy

The apartment is brand new with high quality facilities. There are luxuries such as crisp white bedding, a huge flat screen tv in the bedroom with cable and Netflix, a great shower, walk in wardrobe and separate cloakroom. There is a small, sunny balcony (though no table or chairs). The 24 hour door staff were friendly and helpful. Key pick up was quick and easy. The location is good, with a supermarket 7 minutes’ walk away and some good restaurants.

My 3 night stay was spoilt by the host insisting on charging me significantly more than the cost agreed when booking online. She called in on my first night to check how I was settling in and we agreed that she would return on my last night for the cash payment. She quoted the cost in US dollars as she was leaving. It seemed high so I converted it to pounds and it was quite a bit more. Even after emailing her with a screenshot of the Booking confirmation and the conversion from £ to $US she continued to demand the higher cost. I called Booking’s helpline and they tried to call her but she was unavailable. They told me to pay the Booking cost, not hers. I wanted to avoid a confrontation, especially as I’m travelling alone, and the advisor told me to contact them while the owner was present if she disputed the payment. I doubt she’d have waited the 15 minutes to be put through to an advisor, as I had. Even when I messaged her about Booking’s advice and suggested that she call the helpline for clarification she repeated her demand. So, my whole stay was overshadowed by the threat of a confrontation on my last night. I emailed her beforehand on my last day to say I’d meet her in the lobby. I gave her the cash in an envelope, which she did not check and was in fact quite pleasant! Too late! So, a word of advice. If you choose to stay in this lovely apartment, write to the host before you book, to confirm the cost. Then you can enjoy your time there without nasty surprises.
