First of all, the location is great! If you travel to Versailles and plan to stay in the town a couple of days (incl paying a visit to the Palace) then this place is certainly a very good option to consider. It is situated in a small shopping street (but no noise during the night) just 20 meters from the market place. In the morning you can have coffee/breakfast in one of the boulangeries downstairs. The room is small but cozy, just under the roof. It's clean, all the necessary kitchen stuff is there. The premise is very close to underground parking garage (we parked at Parking Indigo Versailles Marché Notre-Dame - litteraly 3 min walk to the premise, right below the marketplace). Be prepared to pay about 30 Euro per day. If you plan to travel to Paris, railway station is 20 min walk. It's walking distance to Versailles Palace too. Last but not least, very friendly host Maxime. He is very responsive and speaks English very well. One caveat to consider - he sent us the instructions about the keys on the day of arrival, when we already departed. As we had no internet on the way, we did not know what to do when we arrived and stood in from of the building's door. But the problem was solved within 10 minutes: he texted us the instructions with the codes and all the stuff.

A couple of points to consider: - The room is upstairs, at the 4th or 5th floor with a very steep (old style) stairs. Not a disaster but something to be aware of if you are not in top condition. - If you got used to big bath towels (as we do), take your own with you. The ones you get there are small: you'll need 3 at once. - The cabinet with towels and bed sheets falls apart when you open the cabinet door. I felt like at home: both Maxime and I turn out to be Ikea customers :)

Excellent location friendly Area, near eating places, great facilities also market most days, thoughtful hosts brilliant as its 10 mins from railway station & the Palace of versailles & that's walking, great

if I was advising I would say not suitable for disabled people or elderly but can't fault anything, thanks Again.

.Apartment was bright and airey and lovely and quiet,it is as you see it in the photos,really great location,plenty of shops restaurants bars supermarkets close by, and the Palace just round the corner, really good apartment,owners good to deal with,enjoy

A lot of steps to the top floor apartment if you have walking difficulties

Funky layout, and only whacked my head a few times in the beams.

All communication is done through email or the app. We never saw a human.

It is a gorgeous little apartment in the perfect location. The street was full of life, with lovely places to eat and it was so close to Versailles.

Nothing to dislike unless you struggle with stairs.

the staircase to the very top apartment and took us and the neighbour an hour to open the front door, key locks don’t work well

light, clean and airy. Good kitchen equipment and coffee machine. The location was perfect for our Palace concert and the tapas at Bibo Vino directly opposite were very good, as was breakfast at the local patisserie.

Apart from a couple of fruit teas there was only one teabag which was disappointing after a hot time travelling and walking.

It's a great value and a wonderful location. Good restaurants are nearby

The locks on the door to the apartment itself gave us a lot of trouble. Please check them - we wrestled with them so long that we were afraid of bending the key or breaking it off in the door!. The 6 floors of stairs are very tough if your luggage is heavy at all, and one of our bags is. Also, we were asked in the apartment directions to leave dishes clean. But there wasn't any dish soap left for the one glass we used.

The location was fantastic, down a lovely cobbled alley with cafes and the market on your doorstep. The apartment was well kitted out.

If you are tall, mind your head, the beams whilst lovely for aesthetics, are perfect head height. Not really an issue, easily navigated.

Close to the palace and restaurants. Clean y nicely decorated.

The location is perfect! The room looks exactly like the pictures, very clean aswell.

The thing we missed was an AC the room was very hot and the bed was a bit hard for us.
