The cabin exceeded our expectations. Everything was well stocked and easy to operate. The floorplan was great for a family of four or five.

We stayed over Christmas 2022, during the arctic blast and it was cold!! Cabin was very nice and well stocked and just 3 or 4 miles from downtown. Over the coldest night, the heat on the main level went out. We still had heat in the basement, and we had the wood fire on the main level, so we didn’t freeze. The owners were absolutely fantastic! Tommy drove up from Atlanta the next morning (Christmas Eve) and brought us several space heaters in case they couldn’t get the heat going. Their HVAC guy was buried trying to respond to emergencies, but he told Tommy what was probably the problem. Turned out the condensate drain was frozen. Tommy was able to thaw it out and get the heat working again. We were very thankful to be dealing with such great owners. I would highly recommend this cabin and Devon and Tommy!!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean just as other reviews stated. It was fully stocked with needs, and In house activities (games etc). The location was perfect and accessible to many blue ridge experiences/ activities!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. We were road tripping from Chicago to FL and wanted to break up the trip with a week in the mountains. This property was perfect for our family which includes a 4yr old, 7yr old and our dog. It was private, in excellent condition, extremely clean and well kept and only 10min from town. The wifi worked perfectly, cell reception as excellent and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. Some highlights included a nightly fire on the amazing deck, nightly owl calling (we got a few to show up and hoot at us every night using a blue tooth speaker), morning hikes on the Aska trails which are also 10min away, a soak in the hot tub upon returning from our hikes and a day on the lake in a pontoon boat. In sum, this is exactly what you are looking for! Whether it's a small/large family or even 2 couples - this property is ideal and checks 99% of the boxes. I hope everyone get's to enjoy a mountain experience like this in their lifetime, it was fantastic.

The cabin was spacious with an incredible view. The small touches were over the top amazing. The basement was a family favorite with an air hockey table and shuffle board. The deck was the highlight, so spacious with a great hot tub and a gazebo of sorts with with a fire place. We loved everything about this property and will definitely be back. And the owner was so helpful and glad to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend this property.

Our group of 4 adults loved this house, the deck, and the location. We hiked, kayaked, and enjoyed the deck/hot tub. Especially loved the deck….we had a couple of chilly, rainy days but with plenty of firewood and good books, the rainy days were almost our favorite days! The house is great for movie-watching with plenty of blankets, great showers with super soft towels and very comfortable beds (found ourselves sleeping later than we ever do!) . Blue Ridge is a really cute town with great shops. We mostly cooked at home but we loved Carrolls BBQ and Grumpy Old Men Brewery. Can’t wait to come back to this beautiful cabin and part of of the world. Thank you to our super responsive and wonderful hosts!

We had a great time and the cabin was fantastic. We especially loved the gated deck so our dog could enjoy the outdoors with us without us worrying that she would get out. The cabin is well stocked - especially with games and puzzles for all ages.

We had an amazing time at the house, it was well appointed for everything we could possibly need. The outside living area is fantastic, especially the outdoor fire place. All of the beds and bedrooms were super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

My family had an amazing time during Thanksgiving at this cabin. Very clean and well stocked with things you may have forgotten to bring. The bed upstairs is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! And they supply the best towels. All question prior to travel were quickly answered. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

I wish we could stay longer. Very nice, pleasant, we had great relaxing time. The drive way is very steep, it made me nervous few times. But still it is was amazing trip. I will definitely go back to Piece of Paradise.

The cabin was in a great location with a fantastic views. Great amenities, lots of activities to do at the cabin and nearby, even on a rainy day we still had a blast! Very clean and comfortable beds

We really enjoyed our stay and four days were not enough. Host Devon is very prompt in answering our questions. Every small touch in the house made us happy. We enjoyed every place of the paradise (outside fireplace and sitting area, Basement , Hot tub) and will go back again. Our odyssey Van gave some trouble , It is advisable to take all wheel drive.

Loved this cabin for its cleanliness, decor, and amenities. Kitchen was well-stocked. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Great quality towels and linens. Loved the jacuzzi! Grill could use some improvement, but it worked.

This is a great place to stay for a family. The hot tub is very clean and large. The covered outdoor fireplace is awesome. The air hockey and darts were super fun. There are dog crates and all the decks have gates so you don't have to worry about loosing your dogs. The place is stocked so much better than any place we have ever been. 5 stars!

The drive up to the house was stunning and like others have stated, could be a little tricky to navigate. If you can, arrive during daylight hours on your first day, just to get the lay of the land. After the first day of driving, it was fine and we had no trouble navigating the roads after dark. Upon arrival, the house was super clean and smelled great! The kitchen was very well stocked! Bath and bed linens were clean and comfortable. The area had storms prior to our visit, so we were thankful when we found a bag in the hall closet marked as "dog towels" that we used for our shoes by the doors so we wouldn't track in dirt and water. One very minor issue with low water pressure (caused by the storms) was resolved quickly after contacting Devon, who was gracious and kind, and attentive to our needs. We were not expecting to be inside enough to use Wifi, TVs, sound system, air hockey, and darts but when our first evening was rainy, we used them all and had no issues. There is also a nice collection of books and board games in the basement. On following nights the hot tub was a perfect way to relax after day-long hikes to area falls and other attractions. Having dry firewood provided was also great for making a fire in the outdoor fireplace. The king and queen beds were very comfortable. So comfortable in fact, we contacted the owner to find out about the brand and we ordered the same mattress for our house! We enjoyed the shopping in downtown Blue Ridge, friendly people, and lots of good food options. The area hiking trails are great. Everything closes pretty early, so this is a perfect place for action-packed days and lazy, relaxing evenings. We will be back when the weather is warmer and we can try tubing and rafting!

This was our first time using a vacation rental and we were not disappointed. This cabin was very cozy without being decorated over the top "cabin-y"...I really appreciated that. There were plenty of cookware and dishes, and in good shape. The King size and Queen size beds were both very comfortable (we didn't use the bunk beds). Definitely download the Sonos app to use the sound system easier. We were blasting music on the deck without knowing for a bit, before we started using the app. I appreciated the special touches that we didn't end up needing, like dog crates folded in the closet and the pet food dishes in the dining room. The road up to the cabin was very scary the first time, but my husband got comfortable with it by the second trip up. Getting there during daylight hours would be super helpful if you're not used to driving those types of roads. The deck was great and the kids loved the hot tub. All in all, we really enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend this rental to our friends!

This cabin was wonderful! It was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed. The mountain was so quiet and peaceful, loud neighbors, just nature! The owners were responsive and great as well. We have a small dog who enjoyed sunning herself on the gated deck. We would definitely stay here again!

This rental was just what the doctor ordered! The house is well appointed, and the owners thought of every little thing you could need. Description doesn’t do it justice...beautiful surroundings and we even got some snow! The owners were extremely accommodating and easy to reach for any questions we had. Absolutely recommend !
