I carefully read all of the reviews before selecting this property. I can attest the previous reviews were right! A charming, very clean apartment with a gorgeous view of the ocean, it also had all of the amenities one would need for a beach vacation. We were looking for a place that was quiet, uncrowded yet within driving distance to other attractions and it didn't disappoint. We had a small glitch connecting to the Wi-Fi but the owner was very responsive and helped to resolve the matter quickly. One suggestion: keep a sheet with instructions on how to connect to the Wi-Fi next to the router. Had a great time and appreciate the owner going over and above to ensure our stay was memorable!

Wonderful clean condo on a beautiful beach. Condo was amazing. The manager Abdel was very attentive.

We spent an incredible week at this apartment. The ocean view from the balcony is positively gorgeus! We found the apartment to be very clean and well-stocked with everything we could have needed for our stay. The furnishings and decor are more pleasant in-person. The bedroom has the most comfortable bed with the quietest A/C unit, that never interfered with the soft sound of the ocean. The complex is very well-maintained and everyone (including security, residents and other visitors) was very friendly. Location!! Easy drive from the airport. Easy, short drive for amazing restaurants, street food, kiosks and groceries. There are activities every where, including jet ski rentals, horseback riding and El Yunque (also breathtaking). We visited five different beaches, each with it's own personality and agree that the beach directly infront of the apartment is the best! This location can not be beat! Communication with host, Abdel was easy and pleasant. He was available if needed. Though once checked-in, his place had everything we needed! His place is truly "a gem" and I highly recommend it. We have been coming to this location for many years this is one of the cleanest units we have stayed in. The owner has done a great job adding a few extra amenities like oven and microwave. This unit has been updated with soft muted tones. 10/10

We stayed at this property for a week and enjoyed it very much. A highlight was having breakfast on the balcony with an incredible view of the beach. Apartment was convenient to local dining, grocery store, drug store, and beach. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation, including 2 comfortable beach chairs and a small cooler for a picnic lunch. This is in one of 3 buildings that have good parking and security, as well as beach access, outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach, and a swimming pool. The owner was very responsive with the few questions we had while we were there.

Great experience! From booking to staying everything was great. The owner took time to reach out to me stay at his location which was very clean and everything we needed and more. Other than the hurricane taking out the electricity, my Stay was Great.

The property and the apartment were clean. The view to the ocean from the apartment is gorgeous. The owner answered all our questions promptly and was always helpful. When unable to visit the beach due to red flags, we went to the pool (a couple of those on site). Beach chairs and even a small cooler were available for use. We used the pull out in the living room for the extra bed. Everything is near by: fast food, pharmacy and local kiosks with delicious foods and drinks. We will definitely visit again.

The apartment had everything you needed for the beach! Chairs, towels, sun screen, cooler. It had a beautiful view, with direct easy access to the beach. I loved that we had parking included, and the gated apartments felt very safe and welcoming. Fully stocked kitchen, with a great working AC in the bedroom. We were very happy with our stay. There were also plenty of yummy restaurants around, we would highly recommend La Parrilla (only 5-10 mins from apartment driving).

Great views, host very responsive and place well equipped.

Absolutely amazing property it made the vacation they had everything we needed for the beach…sunscreen, beach chairs, googles and snorkel…we have already recommended this place to our friends for there upcoming stay

The unit was clean, very well appointed & stocked with EVERTHING you could possibly need. Beautiful Decor, Friendly People, Good Security, Beautiful Pool, you can't get any closer to the beach!, and you just cannot beat the VIEW and the weather

Abdel’s condo was even better than the photos! It was very clean, and comfortable, with a newly remodeled bath. Well equipped with beach chairs, a cooler, beach towels and an assortment of patio friendly beverage ware. He thoughtfully provided a supply of face masks and hand sanitizer as well. I booked this condo for our traveling partners and wish I had booked it for us, once we saw it. :) Check in could have been easier, but communication was easy and we all settled in fine. The grounds are well maintained, and security is 24/7, although we never felt unsafe in the area. A bank, grocery, drug store and fast food are all within a two block area, so it is a super convenient location. Rent a car when you book, as you will need it.

This property was perfect for our stay in PR. Right on the beach, live coral just up the cove to the north west (left side of cove facing ocean) 20 min to El Yunque, 20 to Seven Seas Beach, Fortuna next cove over. San Juan only 1 hr away... Great Location... The only issue I had was that "washer and dryer" was listed but there was none. The property owner directed me to a local coin laundry which was not only inconvenient but not even open.

Apt was well equip. The A/C is only in bedroom, little inconvenient but ok. The beach is a 5 stars, right in front of condo with great view. Will recommend!

It was just what I was looking for. Beautiful place, great view, peaceful. The best host. Definitely a place to go back to.

I didn't stay at this property because the communication with the property manager was difficult. I booked online for one price and to that they wanted me to add a ridoculous credit card deposit or pay insurance in the amount of $xx.00 non refundable. I believe they are trying to protect themselves so it's understandable. I don't think me and my wife would cause that amount in damages considering I wasn't partying since I was there for my dad's funeral but I paid the insurance anyways because I was in need of a place. Then I communicated with Antillana to add an additional day if possible thinking that the price would increase an additional XXX.00 and they agreed but the price jumped more than the daily amount And the weekly stay discount dissappear. After texting to ask about the amount the gentleman said not to do an online booking that he had already done it just to pay and to give him an answer if I wanted it. He then told me that the system enters the amount automatically and he had nothing to do with it, and he again said that he needed an answer because he had stopped his whole agenda to help me so I needed to answer. So I did, I told him I'll look elsewhere and to cancel. I find that if you are running a business and need to protect your self the insurance should be on you. I'm not a teenager so why should I have to pay for that. Anyhow I didn't stay and got the cancellation and they didn't make the money, too bad for them. But the amount charged just for adding a day and cancelling the weekly discount? Not very fair. Thanks.

The views are of paradise and the place is very secure. It is a gated condo apartments. Host is very responsive and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay, the condo was very nice and comfortable. The only suggestion I have is that an information sheet is provided for guests letting them know about the Wifi, where to take the trash, information on when the gates are locked, where to meet Uber, ideas on local restaurants and maybe some brochures on things to do in Puerto Rico and contact information. We also would have liked some boogie boards to play with in the ocean. We would stay here again!

This Playa Azul bldg 1 unit overlooks and provides direct access to Luquillo's central beach. Within a 10-15 min walk lies a large Amigo grocery, Walgreens, fast food, and a bank - but no laundry. The 22 floor building has 4 elevators, parking, and outdoor grounds, but no pool or gym. During my 5 week stay it was 3/4 empty. The 9th floor condo and large balcony provide a great view of the beach and ocean waters. I found it to be very clean, roach free, modern, and nicely furnished. And though it lacked a clothes washer, living room TV, and bathroom vanity, it was exceptionally well supplied with kitchen, bath, bed, cleaning, ironing, emergency, and apt living amenities. The bedroom TV worked well with several movie and English channels, the AC excellent (after a first night glitch), and the wifi reliable - though I did have some streaming problems with YouTube. The negatives for this place are few but significant. First, I had a stressful encounter with the owner when he threatened to cancel my booking 2 days prior to check-in. This was completely unwarranted and unacceptable, but countering that, he was kind enough to provide me a transfer to the place from Isla Verde. Second, the $99 property damage fee may be convenient for the owner, but it's a wasted cost for most of us who don't break things. I'd always consider this policy as a negative for any property listing. Third, while the location of this unit is convenient, it's ground zero for the town's noise. Several days per week, the bad music from beach goers' can be clearly heard, and this is augmented by the cars that park below, open their doors, and blast their huge stereo systems. The frequency of this annoyance is increased by the same type of cars that also cruise the street below, showing off their loud sound systems or engines capable of screaming at redline for several minutes at a time. None of this can be avoided by closing the glass vent windows. Add to that, the 4 nights of outdoor music that went past 2am, the daily hours of the food vendor's ringing bell, and the scraping chairs and noises of neighbors above past 3 am in the morning, and I found myself needing to wear white noise headphones often day and night. The noise, for me, ruined the place and would prevent me from returning. For a short stay or those not sensitive to noise, this is a wonderful place for a good price. But for those staying awhile and bothered by noise, I would not recommend it.

We were more than impressed with our stay. Abdel patiently waited for our delayed flight to arrive and met us at the rental car lot with the keys. Once we arrived at the condo it was pretty late. Very clean and comfortably fit our family of 4. We woke up to one of the most beautiful views we've ever seen. The view from this place was breathtaking. This condo is safe and secure, gated parking. Wonderful pool. And the beach is just outside of the gate. Condo was well equipped. When arriving, we found plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, a beach umbrella, suntan lotions and bug sprays. Kitchen had nice dishes, pots pans and plenty of utensils. I picked this location because I love Luquillo Beach. This location is one exit away from Luquillo Kioskos. There are plenty of food stops close. El Yunque is close. So much to do. I've been coming to Puerto Rico for years now and I was so excited to finally share my paradise with my boyfriend and the kids. This condo more than helped with the experience. I highly recommend this location. I will be back!!!

The property is mostly condos owned by older ones, however it is literally in front of a beautiful beach, and minute she from some great, puertorican restaurants. Abdel is awesome, the staff is super sweet.

We stayed for a week at this condominium and it was amazing. We arrived late in the afternoon with a long day of flying and driving, and the owner Abdel had someone there to meet us. The property is beautiful, very clean and well kept, stocked with everything you need and Amigo grocery store is right across the street. Abdel left us a cooler, beach chairs, and everything to make us comfortable. The bedroom offers a splendid view of the sea and the bed is very comfy. The beach in front of the condo is beautiful. The condo is also just a 2-minute ride to Luquillo Beach (Balneario Monserrate), a public beach with lots of mature palm trees and very calm waters due to a natural wave break. During the week, we went twice to El Yunque tropical rain forest, a place of extreme beauty, and twice to San Juan (a 40 minute drive). We would highly recommend this condo and look forward to going back! Our Puerto Rico vacation was beyond our expectations!

Close to the Ocean and there are beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler available to use at the beach. The unit was clean and comfortable, this was a wonderful place to stay. Abdel was great making sure everything was right. The only thing I can think of that would make this place better would be a dish drying rack in the kitchen. Andy

This apartment is unbelievable! The view onto Playa Azul cannot be beat. I have stayed here with my colleague two years in a row for work in July and I would never stay anywhere else. The apartment is always spotless, has all the amenities you could ever want, and tons of towels/beach chairs/kitchen appliances. The main room has a great TV and AC and the futon is super comfortable as a bed. The ocean breeze is constant and you fall asleep to it :) Best of all is ABDEL, the property manager! He is incredibly responsive and accommodating. I've never had better management of any vacation property. He is always available for any issue or need. Playa Azul 1 is super safe with friendly staff and Luquillo is the ideal town to reach a lot of great destinations on the island! Seriously, don't stay anywhere else.

This was the third year we spent our vacation in the apartment, and that speaks by itself . The apartment this year has got a new very quiet AC and yes, the building location is excellent. It's clean, a big plus for Abdel how he managed the properties, and definitely I will recommend this to a friend. The view, the apartment, the location, the amenities, the parking and everything is good. Very good place for vacation !

Had a great stay. Very functional kitchen and apartment with nice furniture. Abdel was very reaponsive and accommodating and gave us a lot of information. Highly recommend to others (only minor issue was that wifi did not work for some time)
