The house was located in an excellent position, at the old Town of Kavala, very close to city centre. Everything was near (the marina & the port, restaurants, bars etc.), and as a result we didn't use our car for the whole period we stayed. In addition, the house was very clean, the area quiet & the host very friendly & explanatory.

We didn't enjoy was the noise that the bed & the stairs made. Also, I have to notice that the property, doesn't include a designated parking position, and you have to park at the flanks of the road, at spots that everyone can park. We were lucky enough to find a parking spot right at the time we arrived, at 20m away from the house. Finally, because it is an old house we thought that the price was a little high.

The house is in the old town, interestingly furnished. The kitchen is equipped. There was mineral water and coffee.

the description stated that there was parking, but there was no designated parking space. We had a hard time finding a place to park. There is a lot of noise from the nearby construction. The bedroom and furniture creak :)

Problems with parking - the property was supposed to have parking, but in reality everyone can park at the designated spot, and as the host did not explain that to us, neither they explained where else on the streets it is allowed to park, we had to look for paid parking and walk after a long day at the beach, when we expected to just park our car in-front of the house. It is an old house, with steep, long, staircase that makes a turn. The bathroom and the kitchen are on the first floor and the 2 bedrooms on the second and if you need to go to the bathroom during the night or to drink cold water you have to take the stairs, which make a lot of noise and wake the rest of the people. The beds also would make a noise every time you turn. The house and the furniture need renovation.

it’s right near the old town. you can easily reach the way to the castle. it’s an old trafitional greek house, for thouse who want to feel local authenticity. the host is right there for you, if you needed. we had found everything we need in the kitchen, so you can choose to cook inside if you want.

like every other old house, there are some little problems: humidity in the bathroom and the wooden stears a bit noisy on steping.
