The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The common spaces of the house were kept clean. Fully equipped kitchen . The washing machine was a plus. Two shared bathrooms were available to use. Our room #1 had a small balcony.

The room was located on a street side EXTREMELY noisy. We had to close all windows at night and still we could hear like if cars, barking dogs, seagulls were inside the room. Also, you can hear everything from other rooms. So a sleepless stay. The house has huge potential, the terrace (that needs to be cleaned and restored) could have a BBQ. Poor value for the cost.

nice position. booked in the morning and slept there in the same day, it saved us because we disinteresse know where to sleep. the hostel is well organized and it was very quiet

Peniche is the perfect spot for water activities. Those which require wind for above water and diving for below water. Outside of that, it is mostly just good food to be had with limited potential. Great spot to just relax and take it slow.

Very close to Centre and port for boats to Berlengas Islands. Friendly and welcoming family atmosphere. Use of kitchen.

There are pros and cons to this place but there is NO doubt that it's great value. The kitchen is a nice looking space with most everything needed (NOTE: automatic coffee maker, filters provided but not coffee). Nice outdoor space next to the kitchen and a nice deck up off that space (ideal to watch sunsets). Our room was big and the deck was nice to sit especially for the afternoon sun. Plenty of hot water! The cliff-shore is just a 10 minute walk and an excellent bakery for bread (Pasteleria A Caseirinha) is just a 2 minute walk. Parking is easy right in front.

Cleanliness in the kitchen is fine but could be better. Our room had a bathtub and curtain with a hand-held shower head but no place on the wall to hang it. It's a long :40 walk to the main beaches. The dog across the street barked all night long (how does it do that?) for two of our three nights so have ear-plugs handy.

The house itself was great - beautiful with balconies/patios/large kitchen. Great place to relax. And on a quiet street but well located near the edge of island.

It was a short 30 min walk to city centre but with good weather, thats hardly a negative!

Beautiful house, great separation between private rooms and the nice common space. Since I arrived by motorbike, the owner allowed me to park it in the properties' garden. Great location - next to the beaches

could not sleep well in the night as the road/traffic noise really bad as the bedroom was facing to the road. (would be good to install road bump to reduce the speed) for me a good night sleep is very important! also would be nice to have wetsuit washing facility,

Great accomodation! Everything you need and very nice! The only thing that is not really good is the area for me, because its far from the beach where you can surf and its far from the center. Anyway, the price is great, so i would recomend this accomodation.

It is such a lovely house and place. Very close to the center of Peniche and cliffs, just in the middle of paradise. The host, Joao, was very friendly and also gave us informations about restaurants and city of Peniche. We could make ourselves a coffee in the morning and peacefully relax at the shared terrace and our own balcony right outside the room. Perfect place to relax, explore the beauty of Peniche nature and make a plan for next destination of beautiful Portugal. You will not regret the decision staying in this Rustic house, I promise. Have a great holiday, trip!

Located in the end of Peniche, real calm place. View point on Ocean max 10 minutes walk, pastry with good coffee 1 minute walk. Big kitchen and common place where you can cook and hang out with others. If you have a room with balcony, that's a good place enough to spend nice evening.

Bed wasn't too comfortable. There is also need for installing air conditioning (description included there is no air con )

There was washing machine, dish washer, fridge, microwave, touster and everything what you need to make a pizza. Terase with big window. Functioned wi-fi.

Big house without any option to make it warmer :(. Any heater, nonfunction central heating and ONLY ONE not so warm blanket in the room. Bed looked nice from design, BUT it wasnt comfortable and totally noisy. It was creaking a lot with my every movement. Big kitchen with BIG space for everything with nice design, BUT unfortunately not so good managed and equipped (missing wooden spoon etc.). AND any hot water in the sink (it wasnt possible to wash greasy dishes). Last thing is the long distance from everywhere.

Joao was very accommodating and answered my messages and calls instantly, I requested for our bags to be kept and he adjusted accordingly. The house very homey with good amenities, sadly we didnt enjoy it much tho coz we only stayed to sleep and had to go to the beach next day (was 20 mins by car). There was a really good site to take pictures by the cliff and rocks nearby.

It was not very close to big beach, there was a nearby beach like 15-20 mins walk, you will need a car or transport, it took us time to order Uber that wasted our time.
