Wye Dream - Wye River Beach House - 200 metres to beach!
Conveniente sistemazione per famiglie e solo 15 minuti. lungo la Great Ocean Road da Lorne. Wye Dream è una classica casa sulla spiaggia in stile antico (era il bunkhouse del Surf Life Saving Club), lo adoriamo e lo farai anche tu, con zona soggiorno / cucina a pianta aperta, un fuoco di legna e due ponti entrambi con vista sulle onde .
Salotto confortevole con TV al plasma e scatola dei giocattoli per i bambini.
Al piano superiore due camere da letto con vista sul bush e sul mare. La camera da letto più grande ha un letto matrimoniale e una serie di letti a castello e estraibili, e la seconda camera ha un letto matrimoniale.
Tutto è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, a soli 100 metri dalla spiaggia e dal General Store (ottimo caffè) e altri 100 metri dal Wye River Pub. Puoi lasciare l'auto nel vialetto e dimenticare i problemi di parcheggio.
Ottimo per una famiglia o due coppie. Lasciati alle spalle la frenetica città e rilassati in questa spaziosa casa al mare con 2 camere da letto. Fai un respiro profondo e osserva le onde che si muovono, cerca i Koala tra gli alberi e ricorda di cosa parla la vita!

Excellent location. Property was clean and comfortable. A little dated and needs a bit of maintenance, but was perfectly fine for our purposes. Would stay again.

We loved our stay at Wye Dream! The property is exceptionally clean and well positioned near the General Store and Pub. 15 minutes to Lorne. Not much privacy though as properties are all around and if you don't have the blinds down, if people are staying in the property right in front can see right into the house. Also, an air conditioner would be a great addition for when it is a hot day. Definitely would stay again though :)

Perfect location
It was so lovely to walk in and feel at home. There was heaps of space to make our family so relaxed & comfortable. Loved that we could be at the beach in just over a minute bare foot walk. Only wish our stay was longer.

Lovely historic beach house with all the comforts
We adore the history, comfort, location and atmosphere of this beach house and would love to come back again. Hosts were great as well :)

Good location. The house is basic which was fine for us. The only downside would be the cost, at over $400 a night it was pricey for what it was but it was school holidays. Hosts were great with communication.

Lovely comfortable house with great deck to enjoy the Seaview & breeze, with all that you could possibly need. Great location with easy walk to beach, walking track, cafe & pub. Very relaxing.

Relax amongst the trees
We loved our stay. We made lots of use of the fire place/oven, it goes really well. There are sea views and lots of sea sounds (waves). Large modern kitchen, large veranda with large Weber BBQ and generally heaps of space. Beach, bush walking and modern fancy pub are just a minutes walk away.

Perfect location
We had a great time at Wye Dream. Plenty of space for everyone, easy walking to the beach and General Store. Our 4 year old was very entertained by the large toy box! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic for families
The property is located withing easy walking distance to the store and the pub.
The house itself is great for families. The bedroom with the bunk beds doesn't have blinds on the too windows so it made it a bit difficult for my 5yr old to go to bed at his normal time. Other than that, it was great. We went at a very chilly time and welcomed the log fire as there is no other heating upstairs. The log fire does a great job of heating the house.
Would love to come back and enjoy wye river in the warmer weather. It was a really lovely break for us all.

Great beach house in Wye River
Lovely older style property with plenty of character and great views. Everything you need for a great weekend, close to the beach, general store, playground for kids and the pub which does fantastic meals with also equally good views of the beach and ocean. Very relaxing location and comfy house. The wood fire was very welcome as it was a bit chilly outside. Well stocked kitchen. Most of all we loved the outside deck area where you could feed seed to lots of different birds that visited us morning and evening, while taking in the view and listening to the waves crashing.

Fabulous property, the pictures do not do it justice. So homely, everything has been thought of. Fresh, modern, clean, gorgeous views and setting. I wanted to stay longer.

A very nice clean property and excellent kitchen
The house was a lovely warm place to stay in the middle of winter. It is a pity the house in front blocks some of the view of the ocean. Easy access to the general store and pub.

Great Location for a young Family
With two young kids it was great location only short walk to beach, store and pub!!! It was great for us as a short getaway. Everything you needed was in the property.

Great house, great location
Our stay at Wye Dream was more like a winter getaway than a spring one due to the unseasonably cold weather, therefore the wood heater and recliner sofas were very welcome! The wood heater warmed the whole house making it nice and cosy. We loved the proximity to the beach and general store. Matthew was very helpful prior to our stay, giving us detailed directions due to the temporary road closures. Thank you!

Great Spot
We thoroughly enjoyed our (too) short stay at Wye Dream. Everything was terrific although the bed was a bit harder than what we're used to.
