Little Topanga house with enormous views of Santa Monica Mountains
Pulito, interni moderni, affascinante cottage / cabina, grazioso piccolo cortile recintato con posti a sedere all'ombra e salone con vista incredibile sulle montagne di Santa Monica, situato su una proprietà di 4 ettari, a pochi passi dall'ingresso del Topanga State Park, i vicini più vicini sono i cavalli. Molto privato, 2 camere da letto, 1 bagno, cucina e soggiorno, barbecue esterno. Boogie boards e teli mare forniti in quanto è a breve distanza in auto da Topanga State Beach. Internet, altoparlante bluetooth, tv via cavo, cucina completamente attrezzata. Questo è il posto giusto per rilassarsi e ammirare le viste, un luogo molto isolato e perfetto da cui esplorare Topanga. Recentemente rinnovato con letti, materassi, mobili nuovi di zecca, ecc. Un sacco di libri, giochi da tavolo, puzzle ecc. quando le nostre galline si stendono bene ci piace lasciare ai nostri ospiti delle uova fresche per iniziare il loro soggiorno.

The host was very helpful with everything we needed. The house was nice and we had no difficulty getting to the hotel place.

This is a great stay close to the beach and hiking! Added bonus- you can bring furry friends! Highly recommend this gem!

The property is an old mobile home with an addition. Cute yard. However the driveway is so steep we couldn't see it over the hood of the car, plus very narrow dirt and rocks. Claims pet friendly but not on beds or furniture also no potty in the yard..nope not again.

The location was great. The beds/accommodations and hot water were all decent. There are a lot of things that I was disappointed about, from the unkept outside with broken furniture and broken lights to the dirty cupboards and doors inside. Some electrical outlets didn't work, tv remote didn't work, sink faucet was loose, the kitchen cupboard under the sink wouldn't close and looking under there was not pleasant, the frying pans weren't clean from a previous guest, the grill was worn out with holes in the gas jets....I took photos, but there is no way to upload. We did a lot of picking up outside and raked the yard of debris to make it habitable and more like a vacation space we were paying for, but the broken lights were still distracting, just dangling there. I did not contact the host about these issues as there was nothing they could fix immediately except maybe the tv remote. All other issues are lack of upkeep and maintenance.

Cabin surrounded by nature down a private road...2 nice size bedrooms..large bathroom..fully equiped kitchen..ni e size livi g room and a fireplace! Owner Lisa lives up the road and has 3 horses very close by..along with an adorable Donkey named Stanley. All are super friendly and love carrots! Saw 2 deer while stting on the front patio on my 1st night! Lisa is awsome and available if need..Was sad to leave

It felt like camping which we were fine with. We spent most of our time hiking and visiting family. We do not recommend taking Tuna Canyon Road as Google Map sent us on. We only made that mistake once.

House was perfect! Lisa answered all my questions with lightening speed. I am technically challenged so she even came over to help me figure it out. Loved the fresh chicken eggs. House had everything we needed. Had enough room for other family members who weren’t as lucky as us to come over and hang out, grab something to eat before the wedding and after. Great location!!! Quiet and comfortable and a nice sitting area outside. Loved it.

Overall we really enjoyed spending a night in
in the canyon and only wish that we had more time to explore the nearby state park. It was great having a kitchen to make use of and a front patio to enjoy.
Other renters should be advised the driveway might scrape a low-clearance car, and that while there is a store in town the offerings are pretty minimal. Neither of these had a negative impact on our stay but figured I would note them since they might be useful.

The adorable cabin was tucked away in the mountain woods in a small community of 5 or 6 cabins with spectacular views and a lovely quiet seclusion. The furniture was very nice and both beds were wonderfully comfortable. Plenty of pillows and warm blankets were provided.
We had dinner from a lovely local restaurant on the driftwood table in the front area while watching the sun set over the mountains. We even got to play a little hide and seek in the woods and fields around the driveway and cabin itself.
Would definitely stay there again!

My wife and I had a perfect stay at the little Topanga house. Loved the chorus of frogs at night, great hiking nearby, close enough to Santa Monica but far enough out to get really relaxed. Very happy we stayed here.

The place is comfortable, clean, and is quiet even though neighbors close by. We were there for a wedding at 1909 and the stay was perfect! 1.5 miles from venue but you definitely will need to arrive early for parking on the side of the road!
We will stay again in the future. Close to Beaches, PCH, & the pier! :)

California roadtrip
We stayed here for three nights while on a roadtrip. It was a bit more rugged than we were expecting. The structure and amenities were dated and well-used. For us, it was a tight fit as we prefer more space for cooking meals together and dining together. It may be helpful to note that the refrigerator was smaller than the one pictured and the oven is a countertop-style appliance. We liked that the host was nearby. She was very communicative and attentive to us.

Perfect little getaway!
We had a great stay! Lisa was very helpful in getting us checked in and the stay was perfect for what we needed. Allowed dogs, had games and books, and was the perfect amount of space for us. The location was also great for us to be able to go back and forth between the beach towns and the valley. Only things to note is the driveway is a little steep (we should have expected it since the house is in the canyon), but almost felt like we might drive off a cliff the first time...after the first time we were used to it. Also, you may want to bring slippers if it's cold at night or in the morning...we were nice and toasty in bed, but it was a bit chilly in the morning (granted we didn't sleep with the space heaters on).
We would be happy to stay there again in the future!
