Parfait

We have rented many places in Sainte Maxime, sadly many were disappointing, the price and publicity were out of step with the actual experience. Villa Zen actually fulfilled our expectations, and gave even more. 5 stars underrate this beautiful property, the attention to detail was amazing. After the first day I contacted the owner to discuss another booking, need I say more!

Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner quelques jours dans cette villa magnifique dont les prestations piscine, jacuzzi, chambre, terrain et la vue imprenable surpassent agréablement avec surprise les photos. Tout était parfait du début à la fin. Nous reviendrons.. Je recommand, c'est le paradis !

Merveilleux séjour d'une semaine en famille, splendide propriété parfaitement entretenue, décoration soignée, vue à couper le souffle, superbe jardin nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !!! Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu magique !

Heel mooie verzorgde villa met alles erop en eraan. Werkelijkheid zoals de foto’s. Wij komen zeker terug!

Wonderful stay in this nice villa

Heerlijk dat t zwembad was verwarmd en dat we ondanks de kou savonds in de jacuzzi konden. Prachtig huis met goede voorzieningen. Zowel de kinderen als de volwassenen hebben zich goed vermaakt. Enige nadeel is dat dorp, bakker en strand niet op loopafstand zijn. Het is wel maar 5 minuten rijden maar doordat het huis op een heuvel ligt is het lopend niet voor iedereen haalbaar.

It was relaxing and peaceful to sit outside and enjoy the breathtaking views. Beautiful home, very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub. We were fortunate to meet the owners Chantal and Thierry. They were very friendly and gave us many excellent restaurant recommendations. It was hard to leave this beautiful paradise!

The house was amazing. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Very clean. We had a problem with scalding hot water in one bathroom but they tried to correct it immediately. The grounds live up to their pictures. Fire place was appreciated as we had cold weather. Owners were very understanding when we messed up our reservation and thought we were staying another night (thankfully they were able to accommodate us!). Would absolutely return and highly recommend.

Two of us and our dog stayed at Villa Zen for a month in Jan/Feb 2019, with 2 friends joining us for part of the stay. The villa and grounds are lovely and the panoramic views are wonderful. The villa is located on a gated, private domaine which is only a short distance from the beach. We saw one or two people walking up from the beach, but it is a steep climb and part of the way there is no pavement – the road wasn’t busy but this could be different in season. However, it took less than 5 minutes to drive down and park either in the 85 place free car park or on the seafront itself (again free). Dogs aren’t allowed on the beach nearest the villa. The villa garden is large and our dog found plenty to explore (although he was puzzled by the artificial grass to start with). We walked him every day in the forest which is about a 10 minute walk away from the villa. Villa Zen is well-named - there is a wonderful feeling of space and peace, with uninterrupted views of the bay. There are plenty of areas to sit out in the garden and, if there was a large group of you, I think people would be able to ‘get away’ from each other outside. Although there are other villas close by, you are not overlooked. It was also very quiet most of the time – there were a few days when there was tree trimming going on around the domaine and there was some building work on a couple of plots on the domaine but there was no intrusive noise. Sounds travelled up from Sainte Maxime town centre – again not intrusive and it was lovely to hear the church bells. The photos give a true idea of the villa, the surroundings and the views. We regularly rent villas and apartments and this is one of the best equipped and maintained we have come across. Communication with Thierry (the owner) was very good and our damage deposit was returned very quickly. Fleur (the local manager) was responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Zen and were sad to leave – we could happily have stayed for another month! We hope to return - but for longer next time.

We had a car, and usually drove to the local beach — LaCroisette — and had no problems finding free parking. We went to St. Tropez and the wonderful mountain village Grimaud. Although the area is fantastic, we spent more time in the house than we expected. The pool and the view, as well as the nice breeze from the sea, made it the perfect place to spend our vacation. Thierry and Chantal were very helpful and concerned with our well-being. We warmly recommend Villa Zen, and hope to go back someday!

Charming and conscientiously maintained villa with responsive and thoughtful hosts. I would recommend this property to couples and families alike.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa which is based in a brilliant setting in Sainte Maxime. We comprised two families with four children under 10 - the pool was large and has a great deep end so hours of fun for the kids. The hot tub was also a major added bonus. Outside the villa there were a number of different areas to chill and relax - all made for a great stay. We were also lucky enough to be there on 15 August - the villa provides a brilliant view for the awesome annual Sainte Maxime fireworks. Very impressive. A big thanks to Thierry & Chantal who own the property - great with recommendations (babysitting, taxis, boat trips to) and always ver6 responsive. A great stay all round and somewhere we would thoroughly recommend.

It was an amazing property, which made for an amazing holiday. The pool and view were incredible a The owners were also extremely helpful and helped arranged Taxi's, boats to St Tropez and even a visit to the Dr. We will a 💯 % go back soon.

Die Villa ist schön eingerichtet und der Aussenbereich ist erste Klasse und alles ist sehr sauber. Die Aussicht ist der Hammer, sehr sichere abgesperrte Gegend. Kontaktpersonen sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder :)

Wonderful week in the beautiful Villa Zen. Very well equipped villa,spacious enough for the whole family.Panoramic views. Excellent communication with Thierry ( the owner ) and Sandrine the manager who met us on arrival.Plenty of places to visit but once at the Villa you really don’t want to leave .A car is a must and pool heating ( at an additional cost) is well worth it. We have rented several villas on the Cotes d’azur and this is definitely one of the best.

Beautiful design inside and out. Lovely views over the bay. Very responsive owner and local staff.

This place is absolutely beautiful. You get absolute privacy, beautiful pool, view of the sea. The house itself is in superb condition. The owner has been very helpful explaining everything. Some things you have to pay extra, which Thierry was once again happy to explain in detail.

We stayed at the villa Zen in late June / early July of 2016. The villa overall was very well equipped, with plenty of space for upto eight guests, although we traveled as a family of five. The outside spaces and relaxation areas were plentiful and very relaxing. The pool was suitably large for a villa of this size with excellent space all around. The views are amazing and the pictures on the website do not overstate the case. A Good Bbq was available for the odd evening in that we enjoyed. Inside of the villa, there are four good sized double bedrooms each with aircon, as well as a large lounge / dining space (if you ever need to venture indoors). You do need a car to travel down to town (or a taxi). Sainte maxime had plenty of very good restaurants and lovely beaches, or you could do a short ferry over to St tropez if you ever felt the need for a change (and to relieve yourself of some euros!) All in all .... great location, accommodation with good communications all along from the owner, and also the contact in the local area, Sandrine, was extremely pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend for an amazing family getaway.

We had a fantastic holiday here in summer 2014. The house is lovely , and the garden the same. The views to St Tropez bay must be experienced. St Maxim is a very nice town , with good restaurants and nice shops. St Tropez is a short boat ride away. The owners of the house is very nice and helpful. We hope we can come back. But this time for two weeks, not only one :)

The Villa Zen was the perfect setting for our family holiday. We were all stunned by the magnificent view of the Bay of St Tropez, and loved every carefully considered detail of the villa: the many seating areas, the heated pool(wonderful for our midnight swims!) the spacious and comfortable bedrooms, the generously equipped kitchen. The outside space was very welcoming and we hosted several barbecues for family and friends. We are very happy to recommend the Villa Zen and would love to return one day soon.
