Havenwood, a beautiful private, gated estate in Woodstock, Vermont
Questa tenuta isolata di 125 acri ha un nome appropriato. Alcune notti a Havenwood lasceranno una sensazione sia rilassata che energica allo stesso tempo. Solo tre miglia al di fuori della bellissima Woodstock, questa proprietà ha una casa principale, un fienile con una camera da letto, un laghetto rifornito e chilometri di sentieri per escursioni nei boschi circostanti. L'arredamento è ben progettato e mescola pezzi d'antiquariato e arte contemporanea. C'è un bellissimo portico a schermo con posti a sedere e sala da pranzo per 10, nonché un grazioso ponte posteriore con posti a sedere e possibilità di cenare. Tutte e 7 le camere sono dotate di bagno privato. Questa casa promette un bel momento con la famiglia e gli amici e ha un ampio spazio di vita per tutti. Havenwood was every bit as lovely as the pictures, and as cozy and homey as we hoped. We could have stayed on the property and been perfectly happy. Martin was easy to communicate with, and a chef extraordinaire…we wanted to take him home with us. The kids were delighted with all the games, toys, puzzles, and books. I can’t recommend this beautiful home highly enough!

Havenwood was the perfect location for our multiple day event. The house has so 12 many fabulous rooms and we used every one. Dining room table for 12 and the living room perfect for elegant events. Game room and screened-in porch fun for late night hang outs. The house Is well stocked we had everything we needed. Our trip to Woodstock exceeded expectation! Thanks to Chris and Martin for all your help. We love Havenwood are talk about going back again.

The children enjoyed all the outdoor activities as well as the huge game room downstairs which had something for everyone. The outdoor decks and patios as well as the outdoor fireplace were great for star gazing and cooking s’mores. I thinks everyone’s favorite area was the screened in porch. We were all sad to leave!

A+ for the property and A+ for the service. Owner AND house manager (awesome chef, too) were fantastic. Home is big but very warm and welcoming. Made for a very memorable week. Everything we needed was there and more. We will visit again!

I have stayed at a few well rated VRBO homes, however, there is nothing that has come remotely close to the exceptional home and hospitality we received at Havenwood. The home is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are amazing and there are endless activities both on and off the property. Note that the house is so fantastic you may never leave the property though! The host provided us with everything we needed including a wonderful house manager who made our vacation perfection. It was absolutely amazing on every level. I would say don't walk but run to experience this incredible home in an incredible spot. Truly Magical.....

Amazing Family Vacation in Woodstock
Our family had an incredible week in Woodstock at this gorgeous, spacious, and incredibly well-appointed home. We had multiple generations and a total of 6 adults and 7 children (ranging from 6 months to 12 years) with plenty of room to spare! The home is grand but comfortable, and we spent as much time (or more) enjoying the outdoor spaces as we did the indoor ones. The screened in porch is everything! We had dinner there every night, and lots of hang out time there in between. The kids were entertained for hours on end in the basement, which had options for all ages. The grounds are spectacular and we had many adventures by foot, bike, and car. We really hope to return to this special spot and recommend it highly and wholeheartedly!
