Alain and Jenny went out of their way to make our stay the best. Breakfast requests, alone time at the secluded pool, the wonderful gardens! Such a hideaway. Being away from town and restaurants, they brought us pizza by the pool, and even escorted us to town to help us find parking in crowded Cassis. The room was large and sparkling clean too.

The only downside was being a bit too far from restaurants for two seniors like us.

Accommodation in the room, swimming pool, overall design of the property. Impressive Villa & gardens. Kitchen and bathrooms. Legitimately we loved everything about this property.

We travel a lot and this was among the very best, most well run places we have ever stayed at. Alain and Jenny provided an absolutely superb experience in every way. We could not have been more pleased. Absolutely exceptional! Stay there if you can!

Alain and Jenny were wonderful hosts. They met us on arrival in the driveway to help carry our luggage. They gave us a choice between 2 different rooms; either would have been perfect. We opted for the bright room with a lovely patio. You can see that Alain takes great pride in tending to the gardens as they are thriving beautifully. He even took us on a tour, shared some of his gardening tips/tricks and talked about plans to plant more. Such a friendly couple and easy to chat with even with the language barrier as we don't speak French. The entire property with it's enchanting outdoor space is pretty as a picture. I actually renamed Alain the Michelin star gardener :O) Breakfast was also delightful - fresh breads and croissants, local jams and honey, cheese, charcuterie, and amazing espressos plus fresh squeezed OJ on another lovely patio outside the kitchen. We didn't use the pool due to temperature (wasn't warm enough yet) but it was super inviting. We enjoyed everything about our stay from the beautiful grounds to the charming room, comfortable bed and the exceptional hospitality. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful grand property that made you feel like you were in the heart of France. Great facilities, very comfortable and lovely breakfast. Our stay was made extra special by the hospitality of Alain and Jenny who were fabulous hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Thank you both so much.

We loved everything about Le Mas du Perthus. The 250 year old house was charming. Our room was lovely and spacious and opened to the spectacular gardens and pool. Alain and Ginny, our innkeepers, were wonderful hosts and made us feel very much at home. By the time we left, we felt like we were leaving friends.

There was nothing about the property we didn’t like.

Le Mas du Perthus was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to help us and to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and the pool is magnificent! Such a lovely place to relax. There are bikes available that make getting into downtown Cassis very easy and it is a beautiful ride into town passing vineyards. They even gifted us a bottle of beautiful local wine as it was our honeymoon. The breakfasts are also tremendous. Highly recommend staying here

Le Mas du Perthus is the most wonderful place that we ever stayed. Everything is just lovely and exceptional. Extremely beautiful and quiet surroundings, beautiful rooms with exquisite furniture and materials. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

The villa is fully renovated, modern but kept the 1800 spirit. All facilities are high end and of the best quality. Perfect place to recharge the batteries. Jenny and Alain have been super hosts and made the stay even better.

Breakfast was a perfect mix of croissants & fresh bread with configure of our choice plus orange juice and excellent coffee

Would have liked a shower & perhaps some shelving space for clothes- but neither really mattered

The property was exceptional, as was the hospitality. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and clearly take very good care of the place. Make sure you allow yourself some time to relax by the pool in the gardens, which are bustling with plentiful butterflies and bees. Breakfast was great with a good selection of sweet and savoury. Perfect if you have a car and need somewhere to park. Would highly recommend the Manon des Sources suite (with private terrace garden) as it was super romantic and private. Thanks again for a perfect stay! If we ever come back to Cassis we’ll stay here again for sure.

everything was amazing, starting from the breakfast to the room and especially the pool. the guardians were the sweetest people and cared so much for our wellbeing.

Very welcoming and hospitable staff. Beautiful and spacious bedroom, bathroom and terrace. Extremely clean. Fabulous pool. Full kitchen available to guests (coffee makers, refrigerator, oven/stove, sink, and utensils). Private grounds; we felt as though we had the facility all to ourselves. We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of champagne. An amazing find.
