We liked the quietness, the dogs, the owner/personel, the birds and the beautiful building(s). I t was a treat to stay here.

There was nothing to dislike

Owner was very attentive and helpful. Everything is maintained to perfection. I would definitely come back!

The location was accessed by a steep gravel track , which was no problem at all, just something for other guests to be aware of.

Quiet remote area with beautiful views on the way. A lot to see in the area (0-30km away). Kids enjoyed both dogs and horses around the place. There was also a nice playground in the village below. Nice daily breakfast. Small convenient parking next to the property.

Low quality access road (some parts are quite decayed). No family room available. Bedrooms are under the roof, resulting it was quite warm during the night (given the facts outside temperature during our stay sometimes exceeded 35°C within the day), but it was overall fine for all four of us (2 adults + 2 kids).

* Stayed in the "Swiss" room. Lovely space with bathroom and sitting area downstairs & bedroom upstairs. Nice extra touches - e.g. extra blankets, pillows, umbrella (to get to breakfast room if raining), slippers. * Friendly, efficient host * Good continental breakfast

* Both wifi and 3G/4G connections were intermittent - seemed to work better in some parts of the room better than others. * Be aware (as I was) - there is no dinner offered on site (and nowhere to go within short walking distance). Host does offer frozen pizza option and there is no shortage of drinks available.

Big and friendly property. Horses to watch. An easy accessible kitchen with a fridge full of cold drinks and wine. Charming.

Very thin walls. Noisy. Bathroom is downstairs. Bedroom are upstairs with a lot of stairs to climb. Free running dogs which growl at guests. No fans or AC. And people who stay here should check the area. It is a very big climb and long walk from Osterspai. Good for hikers on the Rheinsteig with money or families who want to enjoy the horses with their kids.

We loved the outlook and the B&B location including all the wonderful grounds, and the horses and dogs. It was very peaceful and breakfast was awesome!

Careful if you come here by bike and follow Google thinking you are taking the shorter route through what will in the end be a forest type route only meant for people on foot not hampered by a lot of luggage! We were so happy to arrive at the top of the hill and find the hotel, but definitely took the main street back and forth again afterwards :p
