What a beautiful location! Very clean and spacious. Private. Joe responded immediately for anything we needed. The three floors provided plenty of space for all ages. The house was stocked with everything. We can’t wait to come back!

My children, grandchildren and I had a great stay here. Close enough to walk into Old Forge and far enough away for privacy. We enjoyed kayaking, watching the ducks and their babies, listening to the loons, and we even saw some river otters. Joe, the owner, was readily accessible to answer any questions. Great time was had by all.

The house and the property have everything you need. The kitchen is very well stocked. The house was very clean! Look no further- this is the perfect vacation house!

Loved this location!! So peaceful and quite but super close to town. The house was clean and had everything you could need. We rented a boat for the week to go between the lakes!!! The lakes are gorgeous!! Joe was great to work with and would always respond to any questions right away!!!

Wonderful !!!!
We had a wonderful time at this home. It was clean spacious and had everything we needed. Location to the town was perfect. We rented a pontoon boat from Rivets marina without any problems. It rained but fished right off dock under the covered porch. I agree with the one review the steps for upstairs bedrooms where a little steep but manageable. We had a visitor of mama bear and her 3 cubs! Recommend bringing board games and cards for rainy cooler days. Fire pit was great at night. Joe was wonderful host and readily available.

Best Location! Great Layout!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Old Forge! Situated right on the water near Old Forge Pond, we had easy access to everything! We walked and biked into town, rented a boat to cruise and fish on the chain of lakes, and took a few short drives to great hiking areas and restaurants, breweries, and bars. You won't find a value like this! The house was well kept and the layout was ideal for our family. The additional refrigerator on the lower level came in clutch with all the food we brought. We were able to watch the Bills game while smoking meat outside and fishing off the patio; talk about a perfect Sunday! There was no shortage of wildlife here. We were often visited by deer, ducks, loon, and we were lucky enough to see a bald eagle. With 2 living areas, a dining room, and the screened in patio, we had no problems with space. The firepit on the water offered great views of the night sky and the lights in Old Forge. There is plenty of parking on the property as well. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were large. Our family might just make this an annual stay!

Family vacations
We had the best time. The house was perfect for our family. The location couldn’t be better and the owner was very easy to deal with. We are thinking about renting it next year if everything works out right.

Good Family Get Away
We stayed here during a vacation with grandparents/small kids. The house is quite near Old Forge, allowing for easy access for groceries/restaurants/mini golf etc, but far enough away that there is plenty of space/rural feel! The house is well kept up - there are two bedrooms on the ground floor and 3 upstairs (stairs are steep but manageable), and we spent a lot of time outside on the deck and screen porch. The host was great at answering questions, and it was easy to access the house as the keys were in a lockbox right outside.
When we stayed, there were 5 boats included (4 kayaks and a paddle boat) as well as a number of life jackets. The house also had a number of useful supplies like fire starters, etc that made our stay very nice.
At the time of our stay, if you were there for a week, sheets are included, but you need to bring your own towels. Wifi worked great (best speed on the ground floor - could do zoom/video there). Also you need to take your trash to the town dump on the way out (not far away). A/C was also more than adequate even for those members of my family who like cool temperatures.

Rainy week
This property is perfect for rainy days , with the overhang from the screened in porch it makes for a great fishing spot.
Dinning room table is large enough for games, puzzles and cards. Plenty of movies to choose from on Hulu, Netflix, Disney and many more choices.
Joe is a great host and is readily available for questions.

Great Time
We were able to fish from the dock even in the rain. Perfect place to dock the boat we rented. House had plenty of room and two refrigerators were perfect for food and drinks. Thanks to Joseph for being a great host.

Beautiful spot. Location was great. Very close to town and great spot on channel. Home was very inviting. Lots of room for 3 children and 6 adults. Owner very accommodating.

Exceeded our expectations
This property was fantastic and very safe for our kids who are both under the age of three. The pictures on VRBO don't do it justice as it blows you away in person. We will definitely stay here again!

Just Perfect
Our family has stayed at this home 3 times. The location right on the water is perfect. It's clean, comfortable and cozy. Has everything we need for a relaxing and fun filled vacation. The owner is so nice. He's very responsive and he really cares that you have a good time and have everything you need. Can't wait to return next year. It's now like a second home to us.

Great vacation!
We enjoyed our vacation in Old Forge! House was nice and big--lots of waterfront property, and private. Beds were comfortable, and there was lots of room to spread out! We had fires almost every night--the weather was nice and cool. Firewood was provided, which was very nice! Lots of chairs outside for everyone, right on the water. Large dock was very accommodating when we rented a pontoon boat for a day. Highly recommended--we were on it all day long--so comfortable, and we were able to explore the 4 lakes! Paddle boat and kayaks were provided at the house, and they were in great shape. This house is also so close to town--so we were there every day. The teens went to the water park, and we all went to see a movie at the Strand--which was so cute inside. We played golf at Nutty Putty--had ice cream in town, and visited many great bars and restaurants...all close by. We also drove to Inlet NY...which was not far...and there were more shops! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Joe, the owner, was quick to answer any questions we had.

A beautiful well maintained property for our family of 3 generations to enjoy Old Forge! There is enough space for everyone to enjoy the many activities that this rental has to offer. The fire pit, kayaks and paddle boat were fun to use. Our grandchildren enjoyed fishing off the dock. Close to town to explore all Old Forge has to offer. Many good memories were made during our time together!

Perfect home for family vacation
This was our second visit and we hope to have a third. The home is clean, spacious and comfortable with 3 levels. The dock is perfect for fishing, swimming and launching the kayaks.
The screen porch is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Fire pit by the water is great for roasting marshmallows and listening to the loons. It’s a peaceful setting. Can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s fun for young and old!

Lovely home, great access to town and a lot of space for families!
This is a great rental with a very responsive and helpful owner! We liked the proximity to the town and nice docks/water access. Even in the cooler October month kayaking was a big hit. The firepit, comfortable living room, and ample dining space made vacationing easy with a few smaller children. The stairs to the second floor bedrooms are quite steep which forced us to rearrange sleeping plans for our elderly parents and be extra cautious with the kids, just as an FYI. We will happily visit again, very recommended!

This property was just the place we were hoping for!
Loved this house! It was perfect for our family. It’s location right on the water with the use of the kayaks and a boat slip just added to the fun that we had. The homeowner (Joe) was always available to answer any questions we had. I know that we will rent this amazing house again!

Perfect for our family!!
We had a wonderful week at the Lake Camp. Plenty of room for 10. We had a few rainy days and we were able to still be outside and fish under the screened porch.
The screen porch was a big hit with everyone, we had coffee in the morning, happy hour in the afternoon and after dinner drinks in the evening!! Spent several nights around the fire pit watching all the activity on the channel.
Can’t wait to return next year!!

Great house. Perfect spot.
This is a beautiful home with all of the amenities, including kayaks and a pedal boat. There was so much space. Our family of ten had no problem finding their own niche be it outside or in. The screen porch with the rockers was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. The kids loved the dock for fishing and swimming off of and the walkout basement family room with the tv was great for sending the kids to watch a show in the evening before campfire so adults could have quiet time. The owner was super nice. I would highly recommend this home!
