We were very pleased with this stay. The house has tons of room and an incredible amount of outdoor space. The master bedroom/bathroom was just perfection. The kitchen was spacious and clean, and the location was the perfect distance between Commercial and the beach. We hope to be able to stay here again next year. Highly recommend :)

Everything was as advertised. 15 minute walk to Provincetown so was quiet at night. Short drive to Herring Cove and Race Point where we saw whales in the distance. More then enough room for the six of us. Would rent again.

Easy check in, close to everything great house and comfortable. If stairs are a challenge for you, there are many!

Me and my friends loved our time here! It’s a super comfortable and well designed home. So airy and sunny, yet private. We loved it! Would recommend to anyone!!

Three of us, one couple and a close friend, enjoyed two weeks in this house which has every kind of space over four floors (including the basement) for being together or apart, reading, relaxing, exercising, preparing meals and dining. It's a solid dwelling with intriguing design, lots of windows and doors to let in light and fresh air, and a stone's throw from the gorgeous marsh and breakwater at the end of Bradford and Commercial Streets in the West end. Forget the car and bike or walk to Herring Cove. Everything worked as advertised! Landscaping in progress but lots of trees and canopy and a wonderful patio. Other porches on other floors. No complaints. All good!

The house is a really fun multi story layout with decks on every floor. It comes with everything - even 2 bikes - though we opted to rent our own. The house is close to everything but on a secluded quiet lane. The carpets could have used a little cleaning but nothing terrible (we were mid summer so that is to be expected in a beach rental). Highly recommend this property!

The location of this house is ideal - easy walk into town, short drive to either Race Point or Herring Cove Beach. Well equipped kitchen, lots of space indoors and out.

Nice place Alan was super friendly. We loved how it wasn't next to downtown so we could enjoy our quite time!

We so loved our week in Ptown home, everything was great.

We loved everything about our first stay at Allan's. The listing is just as promised with lots of room to spread out inside and out. The beds are quite comfortable, fabulous master shower and the kitchen is very well equipped. The proximity to the buzz of Commercial Street is fun but it truly is a quiet spot. The location provides great access to marshes, beaches and strolling the really cute side streets all over town. We love the Outer Cape and can't wait to return to Oppen Lane!

I stayed here with my family for a week and the house was great! The perfect early summer getaway, lots of space in the house and wonderful location, close to the beach and town center.

Very good experience! Allan was very responsive to any questions we had. The basket O'Information was very helpful to get acquainted since this was our first visit to P-Town. In a world of simple, box-style homes, 1 Oppen is a unique, unconventional, and very fun property! There was a bicycle for our use to enjoy the wonderful bike paths nearby! Several games to play in the evening. Grandson loved hide and go seek (best home ever for that)!In fairness, we rented pretty much out of season (it even snowed a few days before we arrived). Half the restaurants/shops were closed, but at least the town parking lot was free! It was apparent we booked and arrived before the owner had a chance to do a thorough Spring Cleaning (some cobwebs near ceilings & windows). Also, in fairness, I've been described as OCD--clean. The linens were fresh, and we appreciated that various cleaning items were stocked.This was off-season, but we were lucky The Lobster Pot restaurant opened two days before we arrived! We also had take-away from Fanizzi's; both were wonderful! We give a slightly higher rating for Fazzini's Fish & Chips!! Can't go wrong with either place.We hope to come back as I would like to visit some of the interesting-looking shops and entertainment venues. Husband raved about the bike paths, and since he is the master of understatement that really means something. We walked the 2.1 mile boulder causeway; head's up: it's longer than it looks with uneven footing (wear proper shoes). This was a wonderful family getaway, even with half the town not open yet, especially in these crazy COVID times.

The property is ideal - lovely inside & out. Plenty of spaces to gather or to enjoy some solitude. The location is great; very easy access to beautiful beaches & also to explore all that town has to offer.

Nice home, comfortably appointed, very nice location, ample parking, quiet but close to main attractions, and a kind host.

Four of us stayed here over a long Thanksgiving Day weekend...four nights. We found the house to be ideal. Spacious, quiet, private, clean and very comfy. While we did not get to use the decks due to the extreme cold, each bedroom has its own private deck area. There's also a nice patio area. The house is located at the very West end of town, but still walkable to everything. The only "issue" we had was with the fireplace. The house was cold upon our arrival. We attempted to start the gas fireplace several times to take the chill out of the air while we waited for the heat to kick in, but it would not light. It was really no big deal, as the house warmed up fairly quickly and we really didn't need the fireplace after that. In fact, the house would have been too warm with the heat on AND the fireplace going. We would definitely stay here again.

Great home, spacious, Convient to commercial st., and quiet.

This is a large outstanding home, in beautiful condition and very well maintained and a convenient location. Not only is it within walking distance of the beach, it's a short distance away from downtown Provincetown. The three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths are both spacious and clean. Decks at 3 levels surround the house, and a large secluded patio with furniture and modern grill is just off the back. There is ample off-street parking, which is rare in Provincetown. Vacation home is fully stocked and equipped with a modern kitchen, fold utensils, bicycles, and all kinds of Beach furniture. Very convenient. The owner was very responsive to our needs, especially before we got there. He really made us feel at home. We can't recommend this enough. We will definitely be back.

My friends and I went to Ptown during Carnival 2017 to celebrate my 50th birthday. This house was a great place to house us for our week there. It's close to the beach and close enough to town that it was an enjoyable walk. The rooms and bed were comfortable, and there always seemed to be a nice breeze blowing through the house. I would definitely stay here anytime I am back in Ptown.

We have stayed at Allan's beautiful home at least 10 times, and it's always the best. He has kept the house up over the years, and it is just perfect for this same group of friends who come to enjoy Ptown. The house is always spotlessly clean when we arrive, and we take care of it like it's our own. One of our group said this year "I feel like this is our own summer house"! We will be back next year!

This home was perfect for what we needed. It was nice and quite but close enough to walk to town and the beach. The owner answered any questions right away. We would definitely stay again!

The house exceeded expectations. Very open, spacious and well thought out floor plan. The decks on every level made you feel like you were in the trees. A very calming vibe. Everyone had their privacy yet we could enjoy the well stocked kitchen and living areas together. Also,great house if you want to enjoy the national seashore. Just minutes from herring cove beach and race point beach. We are already talking about coming back next year!
