no breakfast

there were hundreds of bugs that got into our room and my in laws room somehow. there is no front desk, just a cleaning woman who made us wait until 3pm to get into our rooms. the water pressure is non existent. the sink faucet was not installed properly and sent the water accross the room .

I loved the place, the decoration, the room setup, the staff, bed, we enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was great, comfortable and clean, good bedding (polyester but super soft and high quality). We had A/C working excellent and the room has a mini fridge that was super useful to keep our beverages and fruit. It also had an electric kettle and a coffee maker, very thankful for these features. We also had a Smart TV available with Netflix and Cable TV. The Staff was super helpful and nice, but we did not have much interaction anyway because everything was available in the room and it was so comfortable, we did not want to get out Location was great, super close to the lake and a few restaurants. I’ll will come back whenever I’m in Santa Maria del Oro.

The place is a 4star, a few things keeping from the 5star experience in my opinion. I believe there should be either a reception desk or a system in place to let you know your room prior to arrival; an e-mail could be schedule at check-in time with room number and instructions. When we arrived, there was nobody near and we were walking around trying to find someone to help us check-in to get our room, some campers gave us a number to call and after some minutes, a woman from the Staff helped us check-in. We had no hot water, is nice to have a cold shower after being swimming in the lake under the sun, but in the morning after we slept so fresh and comfortable with the A/C on, cold shower was not great. Lastly, we had a nice view from our room, but the camping site was exactly outside, so to have some privacy we had to close the blinds and did not get to enjoy the view, sheer blinds in addition to the blackouts would be nice.
