We liked the layout of the property and its location. It had everything we needed for our stay and was beautifully decorated and clean. I enjoy the hot tub and there was a gas BBQ, although we didn't use it on this stay. There was plenty of outdoor seating. Shower was good. Great wifi for looking up things to do, and a box of information leaflets to give some ideas.
Pillows were a bit soft, but that's a personal opinion.

Rosemarie met us on arrival and showed us around the lodge. This enabled us to enjoy our stay without the need to contact her with any questions.
The lodge is clean and tidy. SKY TV in 3 rooms.

We loved the fact Rosemarie really cared that we had all the information we needed, the house was beautifully appointed, it had the space for 5 friends to stay in comfort, the hot tub, the picturesque lakes and all the information provided about where to go for dinner etc.
The security person knocking at our door at midnight. Our fault we had forgotten to park our excess cars in the proper places. We moved them in the morning (too much alcohol had been drank to get behind the wheel in the evening!). We share so others dont make the same mistake as us!

We went last year (2022) and again this year. (2023) We are planning to make it a yearly thing.

The property was well equipped with everything that you would need and didn't have to pack with yourself, for example, coffee, washing up liquid etc. The whole property was very clean and felt homely. The owner contacted me to make sure that we are settled well and if we needed anything. Excellent mobile and WiFi signals as well as TVs on all floors.

loved the property and the setting! just wished it was a bit warmer!! definitely a great place to catch up with friends!!

We were met at the property and given a guided tour and shown the hot tub (incl. how to use it). Our greeting was very friendly and set us off for a great stay. We really enjoyed outselves and hope to be able to return.

It is one of the best equipped properties we have stayed in and there were many little unexpected extras. It's a good base for sight seeing and excellent if you are keen on water sports.
We were a group of six adults - three couples.
There were two good sized bedrooms but the third bedroom was small and poorly equipped due to a lack of room - more suitable for small children. The other problem for us was the bathrooms. There were two bathrooms in the property but both were en suite not suitable for three couples. It would have been helpful if this arrangement had been made clear in the property description.
However, the hot tub was much enjoyed and appreciated.
