Questo Log Cabin splendidamente ristrutturato è nascosto in una splendida proprietà di 200 acri! È abbastanza fuori dai sentieri battuti per essere tranquillo e appartato nella natura, eppure è vicino alle principali teste di sentieri, centri xc-sci, Whiteface Mountain e Lake Placid. Per non parlare ci sono 3. 5 miglia di sentieri direttamente dal passaggio della porta delle cabine con foreste diverse, prati fioriti, vista sulle montagne epiche, un grande stagno, un magnifico torrente borbottante (entrambi a soli 10-15 minuti a piedi), e bellissimo giardini vicino al nostro Bed and Breakfast storico di 6 camere, The Bark Eater Inn. Il piano superiore della cabina dispone di 3 camere da letto (un master con letto king size e bagno privato e 2 camere con letti queen size), bagno in comune spazio comune, soggiorno con divano letto, cucina completa con elettrodomestici nuovi di zecca (frigo / congelatore completo, lavastoviglie, piano cottura a induzione e forno, microonde, caffettiera), sala da pranzo, lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice, e grande ponte posteriore con splendida vista sul Sentinel Mountain. Attraverso un ingresso separato al piano di sotto c'è una sala giochi con tavolo da biliardo, ampio divano componibile, mobile bar e bagno completo con box doccia. La cabina allo stesso indirizzo del Bark Eater Inn, ma è su una strada privata più profonda nella proprietà. C'è una cabina di una camera da letto nelle vicinanze che condivide la strada. Al momento non ci sono wifi o cavo. Stiamo esaminando il satellite, ma non possiamo ottenere la corsa del cavo. Tuttavia siete i benvenuti dalle 9.00 alle 21.00 per utilizzare la connessione wifi nelle sale comuni del Main Inn. (Al momento non offriamo la colazione agli ospiti in cabina.)

We were looking for a B&B in the country with wonderful views, good breakfast and close to Whiteface Mountain. We certainly found that in Bark Eater Inn! Each morning we had a wonderful farm to table breakfast prepared by our friendly hosts, Meghan and Wendy, while enjoying wonderful views from any window. Whiteface Mountain was only a short drive away (a must see)! Our room was comfortable and the house decorated tastefully. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay and hopefully will return some day.

This is a very nice cabin with three bedrooms. Modern furnishings. Located in a private area of Keene which is an area of many hiking possibilities. It is very comfortable and easy to get too. Clean. Nice porch overlooking mountain view. Great as a base from which to explore the Adirondacks or just to chill for a while. Full modern kitchen

Perfect getaway
This place was beautiful! I could tell that the owners took very well care of their property and there was much detail in the design of the furniture. They even made their own soaps and cleaning supplies.
There wasn’t wifi but it made the time spent with friends more enriching.
We would all love to stay there again!

Beautiful cabin on a scenic farm
We had a wonderful time at this immaculate house. Everything was great. I did not appreciate how nice the game room is until we got there - it is a full floor living room with a pool table and TV. There is a very nice cross country ski trail right out the back door that goes around the Inn, farm, fields and pond. The Inn is really special and we would like to come back again to stay there also. We were especially taken with the beauty of the Keene Valley and the many winter activities.

Quick family getaway
Our family had a wonderful time discovering the Adirondacks, and our cabin made it even more wonderful. It was a very large, clean, and accommodating house. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large, the kitchen was well equipped and the detached game room was fun. A nice pool table. We would stay here again. The hosts were very kind and quick to respond to all the questions we had. Thank you for a lovely experience.

ADK weekend
Had a great experience in the ADK! The property was in the heart of it all. Walked the trails around Barkeater! Easy access to trailheads and a short drive to Lake Placid. Very tranquil and quiet! Clean and well equipped! Perfect for our group of 4!

Cozy and Charming
A group of friends and I chose this property for a long weekend away to hike, check out lake placid, and to just get away. We absolutely loved the location, the entire property, and the cabin itself. we all slept comfortably (8 of us) and we’re so grateful for how well stocked it was as well as the emphasis on cleanliness. We hope to be back!

A beautiful and tranquil spot
This is a lovely cabin, spotlessly clean, with plenty of space for a family of four, well stocked with everything you need. The property itself is gorgeous and large, and its location makes it easy to access many excellent hiking trails. The host, Meghan, is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect spot for our weekend getaway with friends. The cabin was clean, had all the essentials and was incredibly spacious. The hosts were gracious and helpful. We loved the downstairs game room. Having snowshoeing trails right out the back door was so neat! We would stay there again!!

Great place to stay!
This cabin was the perfect rental for our stay in Keene. Plenty of space for us (4 adults, 2 kids, but would accommodate more), very comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen! Close to local XC ski centers, Whiteface, and Lake Placid. XC ski trail out the back door is a delightful bonus! We'd love to return in the future!

A little European cabin in the Adirondaks
Wonderful, quiet, clean cabin close the Van Hoevenberg where our kids were competing. Great place for a couple of families to stay in a situation like this. Would stay again next year if available when we return.

A White Christmas
Thoroughly recommend this lovely large home in a beautiful private setting. The house was warm, very well stocked, wonderfully comfortable beds, great kitchen facilities and laundry. The games room down-stairs was an added bonus. Meghan was most welcoming and a lovely host - her cookies in the jar in the main Inn were delicious! thank you so much for having us stay in your beautiful part of the world - would love to come again sometime. - Heather from New Zealand.

It was perfect for our two young kids to run around outside and safely explore. The cabin was spotless, tastefully decorated and extremely well-maintained. Meghan and Tyler were friendly and super helpful hosts. We can't wait to go back next summer with family and friends!

Beautiful house and property. Hiking trails on the premises. Perfect for our family with young children. Easily fit 4 adults and 3 children. Very memorable 4 day family getaway. Would easily go back again.

Perfect place!
This cottage was a great place our group. We were there to hike the ADK High Peaks and couldn't have asked for a better location. The cottage was very clean and it had everything that we needed for the weekend. We highly recommend the cabins at Bark Eater Inn.

Great Secluded Spot
Stayed at Meghan & Tyler's 3 bedroom cabin the weekend of July 12. Couldn't ask for a nicer place and people running it. Everything was clean, decorated perfectly and Meghan couldn't have been a sweeter hostess. She made us feel welcome and not just the next renter. We will definitely be back!

Amazing 50th Birthday
I stayed to celebrate my birthday with him, his family, and his dear friends. And there, we had one of the most amazing times of our lives. The property was meticulously maintained and the cabin was fresh, clean, and packed with everything we needed for our stay. The views from the deck were stunning, with the mountains peeking over a thick tree line. While the Town of Keene and its restaurants were nearby, it felt as far away as possible. We spent our nights by a fire and fellowshipped with one another in comfort and and tranquility. The 6 of us had space and privacy within the cabin. Yet closeness.
The proprietors of the Bark Eater Inn were incredible. Accessible if necessary while allowing us our opportunity to enjoy one another.
We will return here again and again. Nearby attractions like Whiteface Mt and Lake Placid allowed for pleasant excursions. But the real draw was here. I highly recommend the Bark Eater Inn and the adjacent cabins. Having traveled to the Adirondacks many times over many years, this ranks tops on my list.

Absolutely perfect
We rented this cabin for a group of 5 of us for a small bachelor party and climbing trip. The place is absolutely gorgeous, modern, clean, super cozy and comfortable. Plenty of spots to hang out and a nice game room if the weather doesn’t turn out in your favor. The owners were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. Do not hesitate to rent this place
