Our time at this wonderful cabin was marked by adorable chickens (who made delicious eggs!), super friendly goats, an extremely clean home with the perfect amenities, and very kind and communicative hosts who passionately work to improve their community in many different ways. And these were only the highlights! We highly recommend this property to anyone looking.

Jill was so sweet and welcoming! Loved everything about the cabin - the beds, games, hot tub, fresh eggs, the barn space. Highly recommend.

The property and the owners exceeded our expectations. We chose the cabin because my kids and I love goats. Being able to hang out with and feed the goats was definitely a bonus. If we make it back to Tennessee we will definitely stay at Billy Goat Hill.

The cabin was immaculately clean and had everything you'd need for a getaway! The beds were especially comfortable and Jill & LJ were very accommodating hosts. The location is just remote enough, but still close enough to downtown Nashville.

What an amazing stay while in town for a musical event. This music inspired cabin is the perfect place for writing music and the decor really gets you ready to hit the stage. As an artist I LOVED the amazing vanity for getting performance ready. The hot tub was amazing for unwinding after a show and the super comfy bed provided me with plenty of rest to perform day after day. The owners were amazing and so incredibly sweet and if I am ever in need of somewhere to stay in this area again I would book this in a heartbeat.

Absolutely wonderful experience from the get go, we were met by owners upon arrival and went through everything with us! Cabin is absolutely beautiful and spacious, billy goats were a blast to watch and interact with while there! Hot tub was nice and owners were available with anything we needed!

Good time relaxing at the cabin. Too bad it rained the whole time except day of departure. Would have liked to go for a walk and enjoy the hot tub, but Jill picked us up on the golf cart and let us feed their goats upon last day! She was a wonderful host and accommodating.

We found the cabin quite and beautiful . The Family need some peaceful down time and that is what we got. Grand old Opery is about 30 Min. We enjoyed playing board games and just being able to have family time.

ABSOLUTELY wonderful!!! The cabin is wonderfully designed and furnished! The Owners were wonderful and very responsive to our needs! After 1 day we felt like we had been there for ages! Having a herd of goats following you around and a flock of chickens was truly nostalgic! FRESH eggs in the AM!! Doesnt get any bettter than that!! Cant wait for our return visit!

This was an excellent vacation get away. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, etc. The location is great - not so remote that it's an issue, but remote enough to feel like you have space. We loved the goats, the fresh eggs, and the record player. If we choose to stay in this general area again, we will choose Billy Goat again.

We really enjoyed our time at this semi-remote cabin. Everything was setup nicely for our stay and we found we had everything we needed. We enjoyed gathering fresh eggs for our breakfasts and grilling up some burgers on a quiet relaxing Sunday afternoon. The only thing that was not exactly as we wished was that the beds are very soft. Too soft for us. I understand that this is a preference item, and some do like their mattresses soft. It was difficult for us to get the rest we needed. But other than that, this little gem was a 10/10.

Family spent the a weekend here as a getaway/family bike ride in Gallatin. It was a very welcoming home with everything you could need. Very peaceful location and very welcoming hosts. Will stay again if opportunity presents itself.

I can't compliment the hosts enough on this property and their hospitality. This is by far and away the best place we've ever rented. The cabin and barn are great, everyone loved how much time we got with the chickens and goats and the hosts Jill and LJ were incredible. They were so accommodating, so much fun to hang out with and so generous to us. We had fresh eggs every morning (and night if we are honest) and they both went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Our daughters had so much fun feeding the goats and chickens, holding the chickens and walking the goats around the property. I hate that we only got to stay a weekend. We will definitely be back to stay longer. Billy Goat Hill Retreat is an absolute must stay and so much fun!!!

The property was exactly what we needed! Our family love being in the wilderness and that's exactly what we had at Billy Goat Hill. The cabin was cozy meets luxury and had all the amenities you could possibly need, especially in the kitchen! The entire property is stunning and the kids had the best time hanging with the goats and chickens and exploring the countless acres. The owners were incredibly friendly and were so kind to show us the lay of the land and a little bit of history of the area.. Would highly recommend this to families, couples weekends and everything in between! Can't wait to plan our next visit!!

Beautiful cabin, beautiful property!!! We had a wonderful trip!!! Loved the goats and chickens!!! L.J and Jill were so accommodating!!!

Kitchen is generously stocked with top grade appliances, great back porch and plenty of space to play in the venue to avoid sun or rain. Plenty to do with hiking and kayaks or games that are available. Beds and pillows are amazingly comfy!

Stayed this past weekend at Billy Goat Hill with a group of friends, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jill was very sweet, and so great at staying on top of communication. The fresh eggs were a huge bonus, and very delicious. The house itself is stunning, and the beds are AMAZING - so soft. We cooked the whole weekend and the kitchen was fully outfitted with all the tools we needed. The barn space is also lovely - we did yoga there in the morning and it was great. Also, there are goats! Basically, I can't recommend this place enough.

We rented to host a family reunion and could not be happier with our choice and experience. We had so many compliments from our Aunts, Cousins and the all the kiddos about the what a perfect place it was to get together. The beautiful entertainment barn more than comfortably held 40 plus folks and the owners were so very helpful! The cabin was extremely comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. Super comfy beds & Linens, well equipped kitchen. The goats and chickens were such a hit with my Grandkids and so fun to watch. We cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend! Our stay here exceeded all expectations! Jill and LJ were incredibly accommodating, offering to give us a tour of their incredibly beautiful property and ride around in their ATV. The hosts even took the time to take our group of 7 out to a nearby lake to go canoeing, and invited us to a neighborhood July 4th cookout. Aside from their incredible hospitality, the cabin itself is unbelievably clean, comfortable, and incredibly secluded. Overall we had an amazing stay!

This place was perfect for our family! The cabin was clean and cozy and had everything we needed for the stay. The grounds were so fun! Our kids played with chickens and goats and had a blast just exploring and running wild. The hosts were so great, offering us farm fresh eggs, and tours of the area on their golf cart. Amazing stay!!
