The property is located in a private quiet community. Victor was an amazing host and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Home is very cozy and clean. We would love to come back soon!

The place was cozy but had plenty of room to accommodate everyone. Well stocked with necessities. My family enjoyed it very much. Also, we enjoyed seeing all the deer in the backyard.

We were 5 couples with kids that wanted to spend the MLK weekend together and go skiing at nearby Jack Frost. The house was exactly what we needed. It is updated, spacious but cozy enough for us to feel together without being on top of each other! Victor, the owner, was very responsive and gave very clear details on how to open and close the home, as well as how to work all the fireplaces and equipment! I highly recommend this home and look forward to renting it again in the near future!

My wife and I booked Victors cabin for an xmas gift with my siblings. It was the perfect size to accommodate 17 guest, including 7 children (2 babies). A snow storm was heading in the day of our arrival and Victor was nice enough to allow an extremely early check in to beat the weather. Tubing and Skiing in Big Boulder was super close, the kids had a blast. We're hoping to book again this summer to take advantage of the hiking and water activities in the area.

Pros:
-Location is great, close to ski resorts
-Spacious home that fits 9 people comfortably and 5 children
Cons:
-Bathrooms not clean. I had to put my gloves on to pull clumps of hair out of shower😖
-toilet, sinks and mirror not cleaned
-floors not mopped
-Not enough towels because the hamper had a lot of dirty towels in them when we got there
-Went to open the curtains in master to get the nice light in and dead bugs 🐜 all over the windowsill
-Carpet clearly not vacuumed
-All of the cabinets in kitchen with dust/dirt and not clean (had to clean all counters) coffee maker filthy
-kitchen cabinets a mess with junk drawers everywhere
-Refrigerator not cleaned out and dirty. Old food left there from previous guests
-The outdoor front entrance staircase and driveway were very icy and not salted. I had to call the owner to get that done. My sister almost fell. It took awhile to get one car up the hill it was so icy
-heaters in the nicely finished basement worked well but if you have children playing down there you have to be careful they don’t knock it down. Fire and safety hazard
-15 inch tv in master didn’t work
I was going to give it 2 stars for location and spaciousness, but since the owner did not fulfill his promise to refund the cleaning fee since I had to clean, I’m giving it one star. Wish I could post pictures because I’m not exaggerating at all.
It was so filthy I couldn’t relax without having to clean something else. My family had a great time despite all these issues. It’s a shame...such a great house I really wish the owner would take more pride in having it clean and organized.

We rented Victor's house for a large group of preteen girls and their moms. Victor met us at the property and couldn't have been more attentive and accommodating! He checked on us throughout the weekend to make sure the house had everything we needed. Victor was delightful and I would definitely rent from Victor again. The house was perfect for our large party...we had plenty of space and the girls loved being together in the loft! We thoroughly enjoyed our "camping" weekend!

House is recently updated. A well kept clean house with cozy bedrooms and large living room. Conveniently located near jf/bb and surrounding attractions including lake harmony. Very safe neighborhood patrolled by security, quiet and free of pesky loud teenagers. This is a great choice for the family getaway, kid friendly and clean.

The house is beautiful, clean and well stocked with all the kitchen items you need to make a meal & dine in. We stay here at least twice a year, summer & a winter trip. The location is fantastic as well. Situated between so many places, Camelbeach/Camelback, Tannersville's outlets, Jack Frost & Big Boulder. Or you can stay in and kayak on the lake, or swim, there's a tennis court & you can bike without traffic worries.

We have enjoyed our numerous stays in this home, both cold and warm weather. It is a great spot to relax with family and friends. Lots of outdoor activities, great places to eat, and outlet shopping a short drive away. We always feel refreshed after our stay. The home is fully equipped, and beautifully furnished.

Whether you are looking for an action packed or a nice and quiet getaway, this is the place for you. Located in a quiet and scenic area, yet close to many ski resorts, restaurants, shopping centers, and much more.
This home is well taken care of. It is obvious that the owner takes pride in his property. The owner is also very accommodating, and tries to make your stay has pleasant as possible.
Our children enjoyed swimming at the nearby beach and using the paddle boat. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the deck, taking in the beautiful scenery. We also tried a "hole in the wall" restaurant, Ray's Tuscan Villa, and found the food quite pleasing to the palate.

We stayed in this absolutely beautiful Log home in June 2012. The house was lovely, immaculate and very conveniently located. It was peaceful and secluded but also very close to necessary amenities (shops/restaurants/split rock resort). Also within drivable distances of Jim Thorpe, Bushkill and other very nice locations.
The owner was very pleasant to work with. He was there to greet us when we arrived and made us feel extremely welcome. Everything we needed was already in the house and made for a very wonderful stay.
2 things to keep in mind - the house doesn't have A/C and can get pretty hot on summer nights, you might want to bring a couple of table fans for the bedrooms in case it gets too hot to sleep comfortably. Also the house doesn't have internet so if you are like us and like to check directions/local attraction information on the internet, you might want to make sure you have another way to do so (in our case we used our iPhone which worked fine).
Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would be interested in coming back in the winter to check out the local ski resorts. Seems like this house would be an excellent place to stay while skiing.

Lovely family vacation home. We felt at home right away in this clean, well taken care of home. Located in an area that is very easy to get to and fun year round. Nature is all around this home with deer visiting the backyard every day. Owner has provided plenty of information as to what to do in the area. Big Boulder is a few minutes away and provided excellent ski instruction for our 4 year old Granddaughter. We also visited the town of Jim Thorpe. Pretty town with quaint shops and many restaurants to choose from. Owner is extremely easy to deal with and provides excellent communication. I will definitely be coming back for another family get together in a place that feels like home.

Truly a "home away from home." Comfortable, warm and cozy for a week long vacation or a weekend getaway. Close proximity to many activities not limited to water parks, skiing, swimming, etc. A few minutes from spectacular shopping outlets at the Crossings as well.
Would highly recommend renting as the owner is meticulous in keeping this property in the best condition. Stress free living and you'll never want to leave!

The house is gorgeous, and the view is beautiful. Within minutes of a lot of activities. Skiing, white water rafting, swimming, bike riding & hiking.
