Cosy. comfortable cottage, with lots of character. Really well equipped kitchen. Great location, beautiful setting.

Heating settings seemed erratic coming on before we got up and going off in the evening when we got back from a day out.

The location is excellent with beautiful views across the Dee Valley. The house was comfortable and well equipped, and full met our needs. The cottage served as an excellent base from which we toured the area.

Nothing to dislike.

The house is big and spacious. The garden is absolutely beautiful, with lovely views. Really peaceful property. Good amenities. The locality of house is great, walking distance to a park, a little train station and walks by the river. 10 minute drive from llangollen town. The bedroom facing the garden, has amazing views and a comfy bed. The host is really lovely and easy to contact. Good value property!

The house smelt musty in some of the rooms, the bed facing the road was uncomfortable and creaked every time you moved. Unfortunately the bathroom window was left open when we arrived, so there was loads of insects in the bathroom, which made it a bit difficult as we wanted to close the window to not attract more, but also wanted them to have an exit. Although there is one stairgate provided, ideally there needs to be two as the stairs are steep. Unfortunately the bath was out of use whilst we stayed, which we hadnt been made aware of til we arrived, which would be fine in usual circumstances but our son struggles with showers so it would have been helpful to know this in advance.

Charming cottage with lots of character in a peaceful location.

Wi-Fi not accessible with provided code, Wi-Fi was working and visible to devices, .but neither the provided code nor the one on the router was accepted.

The location is great; so is the garden. The house is equipped with nearly everything someone would need in a kitchen, living room and bathroom.

The only thing we didn’t like was the bed mattresses, which we found too springy and the loose bed frame in the smaller bedroom.
