Une belle location dans une résidence offrant de très belles prestations. La piscine est magnifique en soi et offre une perspective sur la mer assez unique. La plage, plutôt un lagon, est idéale pour flotter tranquillement en regardant les magnifiques couchers de soleil. L’appartement est bien aménagé même si le style reste très impersonnel, représentatif d’un appartement d’investissement plutôt qu’un logement agréablement agencé. Cela dit la literie est très bonne et l’air climatisé bien calibré. Le grand plus de cette location est sa terrasse panoramique, exposée à la brise pour des repas très agréables. Des petites choses manquent mais globalement c’est une bonne adresse à recommander sans hésiter.

Alles! Die Wohnung ist groß und mit Allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders die Klimaanlagen im Wohn- und Schlafzimmer möchte ich erwähnen: sie sind sehr leistungsstark und dabei sehr leise. Die Übergabe der Wohnung verlief sehr angenehm durch Alain. Sogar für das Frühstück wurden und schon Toast, Marmelade, Butter und Saft in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Am Abreisetag konnten wir sogar länger in der Wohnung verbleiben, da unser Flug erst am Abend war. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

In der Anlage gibt es in den Abendstunden zu wenige Parkplätze und die Liegen am Pool sind oft schon sehr früh am Morgen belegt.

The gentleman who brought us the keys was very friendly and informative. We arrived late and he was still there to assist us with everything we needed to know. The apartment was a lovely surprise as it had so much space compared to the average apartments on the French islands which usually have a kitchen on the balcony. The apartment has a spacey living room/kitchen indoors and a bedroom with a wardrobe and a bathroom. Efficient AC units are located in the bedroom and livingroom. The wraparound balcony is huge and furnished with a table and chairs for 6 people. There is even another balcony which can be accessed from the bedroom. Sleep quality is good even on the sleeper sofa because the mattress is comfortable. The kitchen comes with everything you need for cooking. The grounds are well-kept, with beautiful landscaping and good security plus free parking. You get most out of your stay if you have a rental car but if you don't, there is a small restaurant on site and the walk to Raisin Clairs beach is not impossible. On site there is a small plunge beach and a large swimming pool as well. In terms of space vs price, you can't beat this place and if available, you should definitely rent this place.

There were two downsides. We did not know that on the island of Grande Terre there are planned water cuts overnight and this happened 3 times on our 5-day-stay which was a bit of a nuisance. So it is at least good to know it beforehand and be prepared. Guadeloupe has a lot to offer so you should weigh beforehand whether you can make this sacrifice to experience the otherwise beautiful, lush island. Second, there was some moldy smell in the bedroom that probably initiated from the AC unit so it should probably be cleaned or serviced.

Spacious and comfortable apartment, easy and courteous communication with the owner and very nice pool and beach.

Regular water outages across all the island due to maintenance work. Mostly nights, so not a big problem, but one was extended over a day, which was a bit inconvenient.
