House was as advertised and perfect for a mountain getaway! 85 degrees and low humidity when it was 100+ in the valley was wonderful for hiking, swimming, and enjoying resort activities. Great trip and would recommend this property!

We booked the house so that our daughter and husband who were visiting us in Richmond, (they live in England) could also visit with our daughter and husband who live in Ohio. We all met there for a mini family reunion. The house was perfect! We could easily get to cideries, breweries, etc. although just hanging at the house was great too! And the fact that our Ohio “grand dog” could join us was icing on the cake! Perfect weekend! Thanks so much!

Our family had a restful, wonderful time in this chalet. It was comfortable, well-appointed and clean. There was plenty of parking for our 3 small SUVs & we could have squeezed in one more. We loved the wrap-around deck with gas grill, fire-pit, and tiki torches…made for great memories!

My husband and I brought our boys for a long ski weekend to Wintergreen. The house was so beautiful, clean and close to the resort. We were able to cook dinner every night since it’s well stocked with supplies. We even just had a day to be lazy at the house because we loved it so much. Thank you for having us!

The house was the perfect location for a family ski vacation in Wintergreen. The house was extremely clean. There is ample comfortable sitting in the living room, and we enjoyed sitting by the gas fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of hot water. Large size bedrooms and bathrooms. Great stay for our family of four.

We had a wonderful stay at this well maintained house! The location was perfect for hiking as well as hitting up the breweries! I wish we could have stayed longer to explore the resort as well as the area and its many hiking trails. We did a leisurely hike around a local lake while the kids fished and the next day ventured to the nearby trailhead to the Appalachian trail.

We stayed at the house for a long weekend over Labor Day to celebrate my birthday! Drove in from NC and VA. Perfect location! The house is exactly as described! Everything is supplied-linens, towels, full kitchen, and bbq.
The view from that front window is amazing! Morning coffee sitting on those rocking chairs on the deck was the best!
We enjoyed hikes to the waterfalls and distilleries in the area, but mostly enjoyed playing games and spending time together in the house.
The owners, Darrin and Leyla, were awesome. Responded quickly and made sure we had everything we needed!

The house was spacious, clean and well stocked. Four adults had plenty of room to work, study and just lounge. Beautiful property surrounded by lush green trees. Easy drive to Wintergreen Spa, community pool and various stunning mountain overlooks. Would love to come back to see the foliage.

Lovely home in the wooded mountains of Wintergreen. We enjoyed the home especially the outside deck with the gas tiki lights and gas fire pit. We sat outside in the evening and enjoyed. We stopped at the lodge to get info about the property and he guided us to a beautiful sunset overlook. Take rt 151 close by and enjoy the wineries, brewries and even blackberry picking. All close to Wintergreen. Loved the jacuzzi. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We and the pups had a great stay during our first trip to Wintergreen resort. Beautiful, clean home with lovely deck and everything you need. If you plan on cooking, bring your groceries as the nearest supermarket is quite a drive. Will definitely return.

Great weekend stay. The house was very nice and well-equipped with comfortable beds. Quiet location yet central to all wintergreen activities. There is a lot of info about local places in the house book. We enjoyed walks and hikes.

This property is exactly as described and has everything needed for a relaxing family getaway. We enjoyed every minute and didn't want to leave. We missed the ski/tubing season, but the hiking and other activities that are close by are top notch. Hope to return again soon.

This was the perfect house for our Girls Getaway! In addition to be easy to find, immaculate and well decorated, it was stocked with all of our needs. Everything was easy and well laid out in the provided visitor manual. Communication with the property owners was easy and kind. Due to the unseasonably warm weather, one of our “winter” activities had to be postponed to our check-out date. I reached out the the owner to ask for an extension to the check out time to accommodate the schedule adjustment and received an immediate response. Overall, we were all thoroughly pleased with all aspects of this home rental. We will definitely rent here again and recommend to family and friends.

Absolutely a beautiful home! Very well stocked and furnished. The entire home was thoughtfully planned out. Beds were in excellent condition as well as the furnishings. The deck with direct gas line to tiki torches, fire pit and grill was awesome! The best place we have ever rented! We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the property - it was in a great location near the resort, and the owners were very responsive. There were plenty of linens and towels available for our kids. We'll definitely be coming back!

Stunning wall of windows. Lovely A-frame design with great kitchen and plenty of space. 2 separate upstairs bedrooms where our 3 children stayed, boys in the bunk room which would sleep 4 comfortably and my daughter in the queen room (of course!). Wife and I in the downstairs spacious master.

Unfortunately, since this was with VRBO, access to most of the resort facilities, we wanted to use (Tennis and aquatic) are not available unless you book through the resort. This would have been good to know...

The pictures and description of this house do not do it justice! The main living area is beautiful with the large windows. We visited for a weekend in September when it rained incessantly. We could not do a lot of our vacation activity plans, but this house kept us comfortable. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed to both bake and cook. The power went out for two hours, but the owner was in contact with updates, and I believe the power was returned so quickly because the house is at wintergreen. And, even with the power out, we were comfortable inside with the gas fireplace! We really enjoyed staying here. Do not hesitate to book this home!

Absolutely wonderful home that had everything we needed! The living room was huge and cozy with giant windows that looked out at the trees. The fire pit and tiki torches are all fueled by a built-in gas line which is a really awesome feature that made them so easy to use. The owner was a breeze to communicate with and check-in and check-out was seamless. The Wintergreen resort is a cool area with tons of stuff to do nearby, even in the ski off-season. Highly recommend this cozy chalet. Thanks for a great visit!
