Our family of 6 (two grandparents, two parents and two teens) had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was perfect, the views were stunning and the property was as described and very quiet. Some of the rooms were smaller than they appeared in the pictures but that is common and wasn't an issue. We had plenty of space and overall I would say that the house was even better in person than it was in the pictures. The great room was a wonderful space for relaxing and with some extended family it was very nice to have the main living area as well for tv watching. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything was in very good shape. The house was overall very clean and comfortable. My only small complaint was that the floors could have used a good scrub. The bathroom floors were clean but the rest of the house produced dirty socks. We also were unable to get the jets working in the tub in the upstairs bathroom but we notified the host who said she would look into it. Minor inconvenience. My family could have happily stayed another week! I'd recommend this house to anyone with a larger group, The third bathroom off the kitchen is not pictured but was quite lovely.

We loved our stay. The house was clean and the location was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Great Room had some toys and puzzles to use while we enjoyed the view from all the windows. The view from the porch was perfect and we spent a lot of time on the beach with our 4 year old finding shells, sea glass, rocks and more. We saw heron, eagles, fish, crabs and even saw a seal out on the kayaks that we rented for the week. The location was convenient to downtown Ellsworth and also to Acadia and Bar Harbor. This is a great spot for relaxing and for adventure. We had a great week.

We had the pleasure of spending a week in this large, beautiful home with our 6 adult children. It was equipped with all the necessities, had room to spread out, beautiful views of the water from all of the rooms, comfortable beds, spotless. Ellsworth stores/restaurants were only about a 10-15 min drive, while Bar Harbor/Acadia about a 20-30 min drive. It was very peaceful at the home, which was wonderful after spending the days with the crowds at Acadia. We will cherish all of the memories!

Out family of nine enjoyed a week at Kissick Point. There was plenty of room, plenty of towels. Well equipped kitchen. The location is secluded with a well kept yard and deck. The view was beautiful even on cloudy days. We had a large eagle and its youngster visit at least twice a day. Everyone enjoyed time walking the beach. This was our 6th trip to Maine, first off Mt. Desert Island. It is a short drive to Ellsworth and about 20 minutes to Bar Harbor or Acadia. The owners are very responsive to questions and needs. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms very modern, air conditioning worked great when we had an 89 degree day. Highly recommend this house.

Seven adults had plenty of room and accommodations were good. Second story had no air conditioning. Hot most of the week, for two bedrooms. Property was very beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked.

Overall, we all enjoy the home and the outdoor environment. The home was well appointed requiring no need to transport or purchase basic needs. Two rooms on the main floor, one the 4 children enjoyed and the other the 5 adults enjoyed giving freedom to all while indoors. Water, rocks and boulders gave unexpected entertainment.

The house was perfect for our family group with plenty of space for all of us. Well equipped for preparing meals and convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia and we also enjoyed downtown Ellsworth . Gorgeous views and beach access. We saw osprey and seals and other water birds. Loved our stay!

The house was lovely and just as advertised. Beautiful property on the water - we loved watching the tides and walking the beach each day. House was well furnished and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner offered a credit due to one of the showers being broken that required a full renovation in the off-season. Excellent location close to groceries and supplies in Ellsworth and an easy drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately we weren't able to stay at Daria's home due to the hurricane, which affected electricity at the home. Daria was so helpful and kind in keeping us informed on the status, and was gracious enough to grant us a refund since we weren't able to travel. We can't wait to stay in the home next year!

We loved the convenience to Acadia and to Ellsworth and the groceries. There is a shower that doesn’t work. Hoping it will be repaired soon. Overall a 10 plus for our family!

The location was fantastic. we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and kayaking right out the back of the house. was also pretty easy getting to the park and Bar Harbor although plan for a bit of traffic later in the day coming back. Overall the house met our needs for three generations of guests. plenty of space to relax. one bathroom shower was out of service but this seems to be a recent and temporary situation. some kitchen appliances needed cleaning but overall the house was clean and very well stocked. the owner is super responsive and receptive to feedback. grateful for the many beautiful memories made!

Property is amazing. Great access to the water and is nice and close to Ellsworth and Acadia. Everything was as described in the listing. We had one issue with one of the three showers being broken, but the owner communicated it and I'm sure it was only temporary. We had a lot of trouble finding places with enough showers to accommodate eight people in the area, so grab this one if it's open.

Our family of eight plus an infant reunited for a week’s stay at this wonderful house. The views were fantastic even with all the fog. The house is well maintained, very clean and well equipped. We appreciated the pack and play for the baby. The house is very private but nicely located for those who need their “Dunkin” in the morning.
It’s a short 25 minute drive to Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park but away from all the crowds. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect house for our family vacation. The house was equipped with all amenities you could think of. The fenced yard was perfect as we brought our dogs. We visited Acadia twice during our visit as well as found a trail in Ellsworth to hike. We will definitely be back when the weather is warmer and can enjoy water activities and would definitely stay at this house again.

Great water views and rocky beach-combing. We spent a wonderful fun-filled family week with our adult children (6 of us total). Plenty of room to spread out if needed, as well as gather for indoor and outdoor games. Quiet rocky beach was wonderful for searching for sea glass. Eagle and seal sightings were plentiful. This is a wonderful property, highly recommend. It is very convenient to groceries and Acadia, but quiet and secluded. The 2 living areas gives room to spread out. It was very clean and well appointed, but handicapped accessible for mom (wheel chair/walker). We saw a bald eagle fishing and a seal from the deck. The water was drinkable from the tap too, which is not always the case. We loved our week here and it went by too quickly!

My family and I had a great stay! We went to Acadia which wasn't far from the home. We went kayaking right from the house and had seals popping their heads up to see what was going on. Golden and bald eagles were both sighted and photographed many times during the week. It was supposed to rain the entire time but we lucked out and the forecast changed. We loved the tables out on the deck to enjoy it all! Thank you very much for having us!

A perfect week
We had an amazing stay! The property so perfectly met our needs that it was difficult to motivate ourselves to get out and visit Acadia. Linens and towels were plentiful and good quality (we ended up not needing the ones we brought). Our only disappointment was to find “our week” already booked next year so we’ll have to find another time to visit! We had four young children (ages 1 through 5) and the fenced in yard allowed for safe play and the shore provided endless entertainment. Highly recommend for families with young children!

We returned to Maine to celebrate our 40th anniversary and for our grandchildren to experience Maine now that they are getting older. Last trip was 9 years ago. Beautiful setting with a wonderful view and loads of ocean breezes. Secluded but Close to downtown Ellsworth and Acadia/Bar Harbor. Best of all worlds. Great place!

Blissfully peaceful and serene setting and property
Start to finish one of our best rental experiences; communication with owners was excellent and amenities/property exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped with quality products (thank you), beds were comfy, and extras like board games and lobster pot were greatly appreciated. The very few neighbors we saw walking along the beach at low tide were friendly and welcoming.

The house was perfect for our family of 10 with teens and 2 dogs. Great location on the water with privacy and close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Plenty of room for all of us and the fenced in back yard was great for the dogs. We had a fantastic visit!

Maine Getaway
A beautiful home with extraordinary views. A relaxing experience on a beautiful deck watching sea otters and their young pups frolicking in the water in front of us. Sitting around the outdoor fire pit in the evening roasting marshmallows and s’mores surrounded by family. A short jaunt to Bangor’s waterfront to visit the shops and restaurants. A truly beautiful experience of Maine.
