We had an amazing time at Villa Esencia! And our trip was extended longer than expected. We stayed a week at Villa Esencia Plus with 6 of us spanning three generations. All of us had a blast. The apartment was very comfortable and just the right size. The favorite 'spot' for many of us was the cabana that had a comfy outdoor couch, a full table, and a killer view of the ocean. The pool and hot tub were also a hit. We had a unique opportunity to experience even more of the units with the airport closing and needing accommodations for an additional night. Ritama and her team were nothing short of amazing! The two smaller units we moved to were perfect for our needs and gave us ideas for return trips as couples. Between the location, property, and ownership it is hard to beat Villa Esencia! This was our third time on the island and we would definitely stay at Villa Esencia again!

We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful spot. Ritama is a lovely and accommodating host. The villa was lovely and the beach and setting is beyond words. A couple of extras would elevate this to the highest of high praise - like having basic staples available (salt and pepper) and including some little summary of things at check in about the villa (info about the gym that was mentioned in listing but never discussed or shown while there; info about where to go to get COVID test; info about a place right down the beach that you can actually visit and have a drink at their bar! etc)! Ultimately if we needed anything Ritama was 100% responsive. And we soaked up the sun and sand for 6 days of complete rest and relaxation! Thank you Ritama!

The villa was exactly as described - beautiful, clean, all the amenities you need for an amazing vacation! The owners were available for questions and always responded promptly! The location was excellent! Highly recommend this property for your next vacation!

We were seeking a vacation to relax. We did not want to run around every day and chase the next greatest tourist thing to do. The location was ideal. The villas are located in a gated community. We had our own pool, hot tub, cabana and situated amidst enough trees and bushes offering complete privacy. Ritama and Kabir are truly the most kind, gentle souls you could ever ask for. Every day we were greeted by their sweet dogs, Bindi and Goji. If you are looking for action and nightlife, this is probably not the ideal place. If you want to relax, enjoy a calm place to rest, recharge and enjoy the beautiful tranquility with friends and family, this is the place. We will 100% be returning.

What an amazing Villa and entire experience!! Our group booked the Esencia Plus for a relaxing vacation and could not have asked for more. The Villa is perfect...exactly as described and more. Peaceful, secluded, your own private beach access. We especially loved all of the outdoor seating and dining areas for relaxing while hearing and seeing the ocean just steps away. Nothing was lacking in terms of amenities, and the rental car was a great addition. And such WONDERFUL HOSTS - so friendly and helpful with anything we needed! We 100% recommend for anyone looking to book their next vacation in Turks & Caicos!!!

The villa and the whole experience was everything we hoped it would be. It was clean with great accommodations. Beautiful private Beach was right out our back door. Hosts were super easy to work with. Highly recommend a stay at villa escencia.

We stayed in the Premiere Plus villa for Christmas and had a wonderful experience. We were just steps from the beach with a dedicated beach cabana (nice for reading in the shade) and pool (for cooling off after beach walks). Beach was often windy (thus the kiteboarding reputation!) but water was still clear and pleasant, and sand was amazing. There's a small beach view from the master bedroom but mostly you see the lush vegetation and take a short walk to see the beach, which was fine for us.Ritama and Kabir were very friendly (they live just upstairs) and their dogs stop by for treats Ritama had left with us, which we loved as dog people. There was an honest mistake at our check-in but it was remedied by them quickly. This is a small property and small staff, so have a bit of patience.There's only one place within walking distance but it's an amazing place - the Shore Club is a ritzy (and expensive!) resort but they had no problem with us coming and hanging out the pool or having happy hour in their bar. Worth the walk down the beach. There's also a kiteboarding school and a jetski operator near the Shore Club - from jetski you can ride out to a shipwreck and climb on it (and jump off!).Premiere Plus came with a car for a short easy drive into town to lots of restaurants and shops. it was also nice then to get back to our quiet, tranquil place when the night was over, and to wake up in quiet peace.We did really enjoy this place and I could see visiting again in the future!

This place isall around amazing!

This is our second stay on the property in 3 years. The first was one of the Wyakha apartments, this time in Esencia Premiere Plus. Both stays were fabulous and we didn't want o leave. Ritama and Kabir are the perfect hosts, welcoming but unintrusive. We have tried kiteboarding, but probably won't continue. While this property is a kiteboarders dream, we enjoy the crowd free beach and just watching all the action. It's 10 minutes from grocery, grace Bay, restaurants. Esencia Premier Plus is brand new with gorgeous finishings. Private pool and beach hut are the cherry on top. Seats at the beach are never hard to come by. Paddle boards and kayaks are provided as well. Counting down to our next visit already!

Had a great stay in a beautiful property and very friendly hosts. The place is on the non touristy side of the island but really close to the main part by car. We liked the privacy of the place and the convenience of the car that came with the place.

Villa Escénica is wonderful. The owners are friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was there and if not delivered when we asked. There are a total of 10 or so villas to rent based on the size of your group. Our villa was in the lower level of the owners home. This was somewhat misrepresented in the photos. The unit however was clean and spacious. As well, we were provided with our own private tiki area which has a table and chairs as well as a couch. We spent each morning and evening here, really nice. Our villa also included a car which saved us lots of money. We saw the entire island this way. The beach is nice however lots of seaweed, which started last year we were told. It does affect your beach going experience at the villa. However, if you travel to other beaches which I recommend, it is manageable. The water depth is very shallow. Depth is 2-3 feet for at least 1/2 mile out. Perfect if you have small kids. All in all, a nice place to stay.

Nice very private property with a private beach. Ocean is only 3 ft deep so my kids could walk out 10 yards without a problem. There was a private gazebo with tables and benches to just sit and relax. They have multiple kayaks and paddle boards for entertaining. You had to drive 10 min to the north side of the island for good snorkeling and food, but everything is so close by car it didn't matter. Also the north side is quite built up and crowded so we prefer being away from the people. But again, the north side is close that going to the snorkeling spots was quick. Decent kitchen and the market was 5-10 min away so we cooked on most days, but eating out or take out was close as well. Basically if you want privacy and time alone with family this is a great place to do that.

The Property villas were laid out as though you were the only ones there. Pathways for each villa was surrounded with lovely trees, bushes and flowers creating a sense of division, of isolation. The villas are well appointed and you can tell the owners have thoughtfully decorated each unit. All villas were steps away from the beautiful beach. The beach is great for families with small children because the water is only 2-3 feet deep. It's mostly used for sail boarding. This property is well away from all the ruckus - perfect for a quite, rested vacation.

My husband and two teenage children stayed in the Penthouse Villa (Karana Hall) this past week. The accommodations were outstanding. The interior furnishings and finishing details were all high end and the balcony (comfortable seating area, dining area, new grill, and additional room for several yoga mats) captured the beautiful view. The design, with large window or double front door, allowed for gorgeous views in almost every direction. The beach is a short walk down a path past an inviting private pool. We took advantage of the shaded cabanas (kids loved the hammocks), comfortable lounge chairs, hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkel equipment. The Villa is located in a serene natural setting and combines the best of both worlds - natural beauty and comfortable accommodations. The most exceptional property we have stayed in to date. We were undecided between staying in a resort on Grace Bay Beach or the Villa Esencia. Everyone - including the teenagers who usually prefer more action - felt we had DEFINITELY made the best choice. Ritama is a gracious and knowledge hostess! We want to return soon!

We rented the cottage for 10 days. The privacy of the cottage one can't compare. It's big enough for a couple, it's just like the pictures online. The safe isn't your normal standards(can't fit a 13" lap top). It's more for jewelry, which no one brings on vacation. The beach access through the jungle is nice. We preferred Long Bay than Grace Bay beach for its seclusion. It's not crowded & sometimes it seemed we were the only two there. The place is very very quiet. The gym is old with no AC but numerous fans which worked fine. God forbid you have the music loud while exercising, Amano (employee)will come & tell you to turn it down when your the only one in the little gym that no one hardly uses!! The disappointment was when we found 4 huge roaches in the kitchen on two nights of our stay, even with our cleaning & picking up after ourselves. The owners try to blame it on the property being in the Caribbean, but we have never encountered this where we have rented other villas. Out of our 10 day stay we only got housekeeping once! Not a thorough job either for $100 for 1 hour of cleaning. It shows the lack of cleaning there is between rental stays.!! I would suggest a thorough house cleaning especially in the kitchen inside the cabinets the barbeque grill & where the garbage is after each rental stay and at least twice for house cleaning during a renters stay no matter the length of stay when you have a kitchen. !!!! I talked to Fatima extensively before travel date, and was disappointed with her lack of greeting (we had to tell her employee we wanted to see her a few days later) when we arrived and departure. I have not heard from her to ask if we had a nice stay & what needs improvement. The road to the villa is bumpy as hell. This has nothing to do with the owners, but from another reviewer this has been going on for quite some time.

After searching for the perfect vacation spot for our first visit to Turks and Caicos, I stumbled upon Escencia Villa on Long Bay Beach. Ritama was very kind to accommodate us and our time availability. We really appreciated the privacy of the gated villas and were immediately greeted upon our arrival by Bernard and Louise who were overseeing the property in Ritatma's absence. They were very welcoming and assured us that they were only a phone call away if we needed anything! We loved the large Penthouse Suite with the wraparound porch overlooking the pool and ocean. The fresh fruit was a nice touch and much appreciated and we were pleased to find a full kitchen with everything we needed to prepare our own meals as well as a grill on our balcony and a dishwasher for cleanup:) The Villa was clean and the bed and furniture (inside and out) was very comfortable. We relaxed and enjoyed the pristine beach and the kite surfers that graced the waters. The beach went on for miles and other than the surfers and a group of horseback riders occasionally, we only saw a handful of people each day. The water was only waist deep for as far as you could see and other than a conch shell here and there it was soft, beautiful sand. Friendly island, with easy access to restaurants, grocery and excursions. We have never gone back to the same vacation rental twice until now. We truly feel like we found the perfect Villa and we will be back for two weeks next year!

This was our (family of 4) 3rd trip to Provo. We chose Long Bay Beach for the kite boarding. My husband is a kiteboarder and I tried while on this vacation (thanks Ritama and Kabir for your encouragement). Villa Esencia is an amazing place to stay and it spoiled us. The location on the beach, the private outdoor area, the covered lounge chairs near the water, all the amenities inside and outside such as the weight room, kayaks and stand up paddle boards as well as beach toys, hot tub, pool, and the jeep. Also want to mention that the beds were very comfortable because we have stayed many places where the beds were horrible. My husband was spoiled with the compressed air for his kites and the use of Kabir and Ritama's boards. When we came home he had to buy a kite surfboard similar to the one he borrowed which he loved using. Ritama and Kabir are truly fabulous! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality and kiteboarding encouragement. We absolutely loved our stay!!!

Villa Esencia is truly an amazing place to spend your vacation! Our rental unit was quiet, private, and clean, and was fully equipped with all the amenities you could ever need. We had our own spacious and private outdoor area, as well as an amazing palapa with an incredible view of the ocean. The grounds were lovely with flowers and foliage designed for guest privacy and were impeccably maintained to add to the already tranquil Caribbean setting. The pool and hot tub were beautiful and we had them to ourselves much of the time. Having the use of a very nice SUV was an added bonus, as this location was close to some great shopping, including a grocery store with a nice selection of organic and allergy friendly food options (highly recommended for our fellow gluten-free friends). The car also came in handy for making the short jaunt to some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean (words cannot describe how amazing the snorkeling is in this area)! Kabir and Ritama are wonderful people—very gracious, helpful, and hospitable. In fact, all the locals on the island were super friendly and helpful. And I cannot forget to comment about the Esencia mascots; 2 super sweet dogs who my children instantly fell in love with and who we still talk about on a daily basis. The hospitality at Esencia is truly unforgettable. And then there is the real reason that we went to Providenciales and rented at Esencia: the beach right outside our doorstep. It was AMAZING!! The water was a crystal clear aquamarine, and was waist-deep as far out as you could care to walk. Pictures can’t do it justice—you have to come and experience the water—it is unforgettable. The waves are mellow and the nice breeze makes the temperature feel just right on those warm days. The beach here is very quiet and private, and is ideal if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. Complimentary kayaks and stand up paddleboards were provided, and we snorkeled, swam, collected shells, dove for conch shells, sat in the sun, watched the kite surfers (very cool!), and just relaxed. Seriously, this is a fabulous spot to vacation, with very nice amenities and wonderful hosts, and we are greatly looking forward to returning! We would highly recommend Villa Esencia to anyone looking for a wonderful Caribbean vacation location—it is absolutely perfect! Thank you, Kabir and Ritama for the best vacation ever! We stayed 7 nights in early March and enjoyed every single moment! The pictures on here certainly helped attract us to this villa, but the reality far exceeded our expectations. From the personal attention that Kabir and Ritama gave us to the exquisite views and pristine beach, this villa offers the best placement on Long Bay Beach. There are very few homes along this stretch of beach (though there will soon to be future developments) and it's clear how much effort Ritama and Kabir have placed into making this compound a retreat for ALL of their guests. Our unit came with the use of a car (saving us from renting a car and spending hundreds of dollars over the week) that enabled us to go to the grocery store and explore the island. Located under the owner's unit, our 2-bedroom space was nicely shaded from the heat yet offered easy access to the beach down a garden path and by our private cabana with rattan furniture. We tried the complimentary paddle boards, but were really only successful on the last day after the winds had calmed the waters, but enjoyed every second we were out. You can go SO far out in the water - over a mile - and still be in (crystal clear warm) water only up to your chest/belly. Though we had never done kiteboarding before, we decided to give an attempt at lessons since we had seen dozens of kites sail by us throughout the week. Wayne at TCKiteboarding was very helpful in setting us up for the lesson and after 3.5 hours of training, we were even able to get out on the boards and out of the water. AMAZING overall experience at Villa Esencia! We are certain to return to Turks & Caicos and, when we do, we'll stay with our new friends Ritama and Kabir. If anyone is debating whether to stay on Long Beach or Grace Bay, I'll tell you we did too. But after spending a week in the sun with a steady breeze cooling us from overheating, while having the amazing views and absolutely NO crowds of children running around like at the bigger resorts on Grace Bay (where you spend 2-3 times the price per night for accommodations), we knew we made the right choice. Having access to the car made it easy for us to still go an explore/enjoy all that Grace Bay has to offer (snorkeling excursions, restaurants, shopping, etc.) but always return to serenity!

One night we ate our home cooked dinner in the gazebo on the beach with a bottle of wine, light from the full moon, and our toes in the sand. The villa is located on the best kiting beach on the island and only a few minutes from Grace Bay.... you couldn't ask for a better location! Renting a car is highly recommended as we were able to explore the island/restaurants easily. Even better than the location and ammenities were the owners - Ritama and Karim. They welcomed us to their home with open arms and made our stay special. There is no doubt we will be back one day soon!

My husband our two sons (ages 15 and 11) and I had an amazing vacation here at Villa Esencia! Based on the photos, I knew to expect a beautiful Villa on the beach. What I did not expect was our Villa's landscape to be filled with beautiful flowers, plants, even a lovely scented citrus tree. We absolutely loved our out door living space. We enjoyed having our breakfast each morning at our private Tiki Hut and dinner on our outdoor terrace. We had so much fun kayaking, snorkeling, and stand up paddle boarding to walking and star gazing on the beach. We also had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people who were also guests here at Villa Esencia. We are sincerely grateful to Kabir and Ritama for giving us the opportunity to share their beautiful piece of paradise and what we like to call our very own Oasis! We consider you both friends forever and we will surely come back to visit!

I would first like to extend our thanks to Ritama and Kabir for creating their little oasis on the beach. We were a family of four who came to relax and kite, although the winds died the week we were there, our kids were still able to hit the water at a moments notice when the winds picked up. The beach was amazing; no crowds, friendly for all ages and literally on the door step. In fact we only found we needed to go to town for groceries or the odd meal. Everything we needed in the unit was provided and the unit was very clean and comfortable with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax. The snorkelling on Long Bay is not its strength its beauty is in the friendly hosts, the access out the front door to the waters edge, the miles of white sand and the absence of the throngs of people.

My husband and I just spent our honeymoon at Villa Esencia for one week. We were there with 3 other families (two with small kids) and this place catered to both couples and families without being too much for either. I kept noticing how the set up was perfect for the other guests and their kids (toddlers and teenagers) and how my husband and I loved how secluded it felt (compared to a resort on Grace Bay). We tend to stray away from the crowds so Long Bay Beach was perfect for us where there was never more than 10 people on the beach. We rented a car and experienced the whole island with ease. I highly recommend this place. I wanted to keep this place a secret but really appreciate the owners attention and service during the entire stay so I had to let others know how great a place this is. I hope to visit again soon.
