A number of cabins making this something of a glorified motel had private gravel roads near to walk my dog, Quiet and a little pricey but my fault since I booked so late.

It was better than I thought it was going to be and it already looked great! We were in walking distance to the river and to the lodge where we could pick up anything we needed. We brought our small dog and it was so much easier to open the door and be able to go outside with her just like at home. The staff at The Ponds lodge were very helpful and available right away when we had a question.

This accommodation was very nice. The room was very comfortable with a nice bed, great television, microwave and refrigerator. The plumbing fixtures were all high end. The room was very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It worked well for what we needed. Check in & check out very simple & the people at Ponds Lodge were very friendly & the food was good also. I would recommend this place.

Not really sure what you want me to stay. I still feel the housekeepers took my jewelry case.

Not far from Yellowstone
Stayed here for a couple nights as it was the only reasonably priced cabin near west Yellowstone that also allowed pets. Property was clean and maintained as advertised. Only complaint is pillows were lumpy and too thick, but just a personal preference. Would recommend!

Reasonable priced please to stay in Island Park. Having ice available would have been nice. Travelers expect to have ice while staying at a hotel/lodge.

Love this Lodge
This was the perfect place to stay! The property was great and fun to explore. It was nice having a short drive into Yellowstone. We also took advantage of having the Ponds Lodge restaurant next door. Great service, will stay again!

Great place to stay!
We stayed in one of the cabins for several days. The cabin was clean and well maintained. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. They went above expectations to help us out. We also ate at the lodge almost every day we were there. The food is fantastic.

Great place
The cabin is cute! Bed is comfortable. Bathrooms are nice. The only downside is how thin the walls are. My neighbor was screaming loud until 1:30am. Even the people on the other side of me were disturbed by her.

Convenient and easy to find
This cabin is comfortable and a good place to stay when visiting Yellowstone. It could not have been any cleaner. It is located in a busy area with little privacy. The "front desk" where you check in is inside a convenience store and the staff there are not very friendly. I did appreciate being able to have my small dog with me.

Everything was excellent except the restaurant/bar. Too fancy and uptight. Prices to high. Just didn't fit in with the fell of the area.

Lacking some helpful amenities
As a reader/writer, it would have been helpful to have a table/chair to record my thoughts each day. With only a bed, it wasn't even convenient to eat in the room. With a multiple day stay, we only had coffee for one morning and had to purchase supplies for the rest the week.

While the area where tv, microwave is nice, it would have been nice if there had been enough room for a table and chair for computer set up and another chair to sit in as opposed to have to use bed.

Awesome Cabin
We had an amazing stay here. Very clean, large rooms. Beautiful views. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant the first night. Would not recommend ordering takeout from restaurant. We ordered the prime ribs for takeout and everything was cold. We tried burgers the next night same thing.

Convenient Location and Comfortable Room
The room is a quick walk from the Pond's Lodge store and restaurant. It appears that it was recently renovated, everything was immaculate.
We used it as a launching point into Yellowstone, and spent a few days enjoying Island Park, kayak and ATV rentals are available through a few local businesses and the Targhee-Caribou National Forest has lots to see.

We were told we were in the wrong place initially, after waiting awhile to find someone to check us in. Once we were checked in everything was great.

Age and limited amenities
This a rustic motel room with very little room. The fact that Yellowstone closed due to weather was not anyone’s fault, but did ruin the stay. Property manager is all business and not outwardly friendly. Restaurant menu is limited, but the food is good. Stairs leading up to the room needs railing for those of us with balance issues, especially with the snow.

Very comfortable
This is a very nice place to stop, cabin is very clean and comfortable. Bed is comfortable with a ceiling fan. Bathroom has all the amenities you would want. Nearby restaurant is in walking distance with good beer and food.
