Spacious unit with excellent location, a quick walk to the 5th avenue beach and lighthouse. Right next door to a large indoor pool and fitness center, and smaller outdoor pool nearby. Good amenities in the unit, including fully stocked kitchen. Couple of gripes - noisy A/C that made a squealing sound, lack of blackout curtains/shades, and mattresses that were too soft. Otherwise, a great choice for a family vacation.

This location was great. It was neat and clean and near the beautiful sunsets of Lake Michigan. We spent the week relaxing and swimming. We would rent here agains.

the property was adequate. not high end. had to replace smoke detector battery so it didnt chirp all night. there was a short in lamp cord by master bed. furniture was low quality. kitchen table legs are loose and wobble there was messy kids hand prints all over the fireplace glass when we arrived. it still was an ok property not sure if we would rent again thanks

You are on your own if issues arrive here. Office is 1.5 hours away. 2/3 of mattresss were unusable. Air conditioner was randomly loud and mgmt knows about this per earlier reviews and. I thing done. Pool entry fob missing and solution was to wait for last guests to overnite Tony’s. We got it mid pm on last day there. Several closets seemed to be “owner” locked alas it was poor craftsmanship and high humidity that kept us from discovering laundry and game/ air Mattress closets until last day when swelling of doors went down. Wonderful area and town avoid this property until Vrbo holds owner/property management accountable

One of the two is outdated and sagging severely. Both beds need to be completely replaced, and if you aren’t going to have queen beds, then they should change their listing. The listing also says that it’s a fully functioning kitchen. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We had planned to cook at least one meal a day there, and there was hardly anything available for us to use. Mismatched pots and pans, 5 forks for a house that says it sleeps 6 people, no strainer or colander, no serving style dishes at all, etc.... It was a joke. There was a bad (possibly pet urine) smell as soon as you walk into the place. There is another smell (foul water) coming from the laundry area. I’m assuming there is some sort of drain issue in there. Everything about this property from the dishes, to the decor, the linens, the towels, the furniture, the floor rugs, you name it, was all thrown together. Everything seemed worn out and like a cast off or after thought. There were multiple lightbulbs burned out throughout the place. Several of which we replaced ourselves just so we wouldn’t be in the dark. The AC unit makes an awful screeching noise that sounds like an alarm going off. We planned for 2 of our 6 to sleep on the sofa sleeper. We pulled it open the first night and it was completely dry rotted and fell apart in our hands. We called the property manager at 10:00 pm our FIRST night there and the issue wasn’t resolved until after 6:00 pm TWO DAYS LATER. They DID bring in a brand new couch, but we had people with nowhere to sleep for two days. That’s completely unacceptable. They gave us 10% off our stay, which wouldn’t even cover a two night hotel stay for the guests who had no bed. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. The overall experience was great. How we; there were a few things in the unit that was not up to standard. The tub water was green the entire stay. There were loud drilling noises early in the morning and the microwave was broken.

We really enjoyed the location. Close to the both pools and the beach was within walking distance. A few complaints: AC was loud like others mentioned, we used a white noise machine to mask the sound, the 2nd bathroom shower screams at you and the housekeeping could be better. All in all, I would stay here again and would recommend to a friend.

Close to the beach and downtown restaurants. Watched sunsets, and then a short walk home. Very convenient and lovely area. My son enjoyed the pools and the playground. Condo was roomy and well equipped for a convenient stay. Just a few issues during our time there ... construction noise at the unit next door (started at 7:45 Sunday morning, jackhammering tile). Not a huge deal, and the owner of the unit apologized, but was still an annoyance with a napping toddler. The only issues with our unit were a noisy blower on the AC unit (we originally thought it was a car alarm?!) and wet carpet in front of the doorwall. Overall, a pleasant stay, and I'd consider staying here again.
