the place charged me, the guest and if for some reason you are late no one opens the door or answers the phone! incredible! a hotel that unilaterally cancel AND charges you! I had to drive to another city to find rooms for my family.

bed was confortable the Staff were very helpful and nice

booked a room with a sea view but the hotel is actually on a canal. the room and communal parts were cold for a November booking. the breakfast buffet you see on the photo at booking is nothing like the one actually served on a tray with just some bread, jam and cheese. The hotel advertises itself as 4 star but i bet is not certified as such. Left feeling I’d overpaid and was oversold.

A very friendly team. A very warm welcome indeed. Our evening meal after a 3 hour drive was heavenly. The Turbot was a delight. Our waiter a young man from Morocco was the essence of hospitality and kindness. We stayed in room 2 . We'll worth the extra money as it has a relaxing sofa from which to look and enjoy atmosphere of the street and waterway. French hospitality at it's best.

A first rate hotel but newly opened and the little things were missing. We were greeted and presented with a drink on arrival - nice touch. Very friendly staff and the restaurant served excellent food at a very reasonable price. But there are teething problems

The room had a fridge, there was water but not a single glass in the room. The bathroom had no hooks for robes/clothes. And the restaurant had run out of red wine - in France!

The style, the breakfast, the staff were superb.

Where is the light switch in the hotel entrance?

Good situated hotel, close to beach and city center. Nice design of the newly renovated rooms.

Poor quality of the work done and the used material. Toilet broken (at least replaced within 24h), door to toilet broken too. Basics are missing. Hotel manager promised to reimburse one night within 4 days but also after 2 weeks and two reminders via booking.com, no reimbursment has been made. Officialy this hotel is still a two stars hotel, owner mentionned, that they should get the four stars in October. Overall: Poor ratings of other clients can be confirmed. Price vs. quality not justified, even during high season (we paied € 1400 for 2 rooms / 2 nights).

The staff are lovely, very kind, polite, and try their best to make your stay as good as possible. The location too is perfect for the beach, town activities and views. Quiet inside which is good considering it’s central location. It was kept clean very well, with fresh towels each day and the bed linen was super.

Sadly the hotel owners have not finished it’s renovations. There are countless things which need doing still, including furnishing the bedrooms with a bin, shelving, mirror, etc. The air conditioning is very poor too and does very little to keep the room cool. It’s clear the staff are trying to improve the hotel, and will one day make it better but sadly there are too many things missing for it to be worth the price we paid. The second bed was a sofa bed which was not comfortable and from memory was advertised as a double bed, not a sofa bed. The staff often asked if there was anything they could do to help, and asked if everything was ok, and in fact did things for us to help which was super. We just didn’t want to label all the things missing and make our brief stay about that. Sorry, this is not meant to be mean, the staff were very lovely. Just feel it’s important others who may book know so they can choose whether not to book.

This a very nice small hotel that was still in refurbishment on the ground floor but this did not effect the charm of the building the greet years great and the room was really lovely I would definitely recommend this and I will make this stop again when I travel by car

The location.

Hotel was being renovated and it was a building site. Carpets filthy, paint and plaster falling off the walls. Thank goodness we only booked for one night.

It is quite close to the beach, and restaurants are just on the other side of the river.

The hotel is old and facilities inside are not in good condition.
