Just back home after 12 night stay at this property as a group of 3. It was our first stay with Placida Mar and definitely not the last one. The bungalow is well kept, clean and has everything you could possibly need on your holidays. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable (with linen and towels provided) and there is more than enough space to accommodate 4 people. It’s the last bungalow in the row, so the outside area is bigger than the rest. There is a patio with a large table, chairs and retractable awning above them for the sunny days. There are also 4 loungers for private use. There are a few shared pool areas in the complex which we found empty most of the time. The whole complex has just been treated for insects so we didn’t have any unexpected ‘guests’ inside or out during our stay. The hospitality we have received from the owners was the cherry on top of our holiday- hands down 5* service. They made us feel welcome, provided airport transfers and tips where to eat and what to do. Patricia and Simone- thanks again for the great stay we’ve had and hopefully see you again very soon!

Everything about the bungalow was excellent, it was clean, comfortable and in a great position.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

great location for seeing my family who live opposite.

a little basic in crockery, could do with a few more items, eg: bowls for nibbles a better selection of glasses and maybe some storage boxes. Also the smaller bedroom needs a blind at the window, the light shines in all night.

location is great and outside space is nice

upon arriving the TV didn't work and the host had to come work it out for 20 mins, only German tv channels and a handful of Spanish ones. then AC didn't work, he comes says turn the power off for 1 hour after I told the error code means it needs gas, he says thats what the technician told him to do, next day he says I can bring a fan, then finally the tech comes and fixes it, puts gas, water boiler didn't work and made the power go off, ants everyday no mater how much I sprayed , small spiders everywhere that of course I killed. i expect to go somewhere and not see the host everyday for the first 4 days. the beds are uncomfortable, lastly I asked to stay 1 extra hour but he said no after all that he says no.. will not stay again here!

The bungalow is an end terrace which was nice - your not too close to the pool that you can hear everything. Lovely private garden and plenty of sun/shade areas with sun loungers and table/chairs. Inside was very clean (we also had a mid-holiday clean with fresh sheets, towels & TP). Everything you need in the kitchen to make a cooked meal. There's an iron and small ironing board if needed and also a hair dryer in the bathroom.

The couple of negatives would be the AC which didn't seem to be very cool (low of 16c) possible needs re-gassing but we found it was cool enough with the windows open. Also not really a negative but you may hear the fridge/freezer making a loud noise - just give the doors a good squeeze shut and it'll stop. Finally - the neighbours dog barks quite a lot, unfortunately there's not much you can about that.

Communication was 1st class and clear. Patrizia was waiting for us at the gate and showed us the bungalow and its features. She made us feel really welcome. As did Simone. We had a small problem with the safe, but one phone call and Simone came and fixed the issue, quickly and without fuss. The bungalow itself is as you see in the pictures. It's clean and has great WiFi. Nice patio and sunbeds to lay out on in the garden. 5 mins walk from Yumbo and supermarkets. Really good bungalow for the price, even better if there are 4 sharing, as has 2 bedrooms.

excellent bungalow,location near to Yumbo,yet quiet secure complex with pools.Everything you need in the kitchen,towels provided,if you needed clean ones they were delivered within hours,Simon and Patrizia were friendly and were so welcoming,we had a return airport transfer with them also,2 bottles of Prosecco and some water in the fridge for us when we arrived,Simon offered to take us the the supermarket to get our food,the service from them was excellent.
