We loved staying here. It was a beautifully appointed home, very well cared for, with a gorgeous panoramic view of the lake. The yard was lush and perfect for the children to run and play in, or to sunbathe, or bird watch. All of the beds were so comfortable, we are going to be purchasing the same bedding for our home. Bright, inviting, and wonderfully peaceful. Publix and everything you need are very close. Will definitely stay again.

We absolutely love staying here for a family wedding over Labor Day weekend. It was the perfect size for our group of 7. It was very clean, and the attention to detail was wonderful!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The host was great and was very responsive to any questions we had. Was very helpful in getting us in contact with a local marina to arrange a boat rental. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Love the location

5 days, 8 adults, (4 couples) and had plenty of room to move around, drink some booze cook some food. Neighbors are friendly, great conversation. I thank they like that they can talk trash about the other neighbors and not feel like it would get back to the others. Lake was beautiful and it was a $40 uber to downtown. Would stay again with out question.

We enjoyed our stay on the lake. Communication with Teresa and Jonathon was excellent. We had plenty of bedroom space for our family of five. The kitchen was stocked as described. We used the kayaks and played some card games in the evening. It was a great location for sightseeing around Nashville but having some rest and relaxation away from the city. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the Lakehouse as a family get together for the holidays. Everything was good. Just as the listing described. Plenty of room for a family to relax. But also not a bad drive to Nashville for activities in the city. Easy access to the lake if the weather permits. Overall, we had a very nice and peaceful stay.

House was exactly as advertised. It was about 30-40mins from Nashville. It was easy drive into town when we wanted to go into Nashville but away from the crowds. The house is on the water and provided a nice relaxing time in the evenings. Plenty of parking for our 2 vehicles. Property owner was helpful with suggestions of the area and very accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!

The lake house was just as expected! It was really nice, clean, well taken care of and set up great! My family and I had an awesome time. We would definitely recommend to anyone that needs 5 bedrooms! The neighbors are really nice and we had a good conversation with John next door! It was just like being at home .. we didn't wanna leave!

Our family loved staying at "The Lake House". The kitchen was well stocked and roomy enough to allow multiple adults to prepare meals. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas were perfect for us. We gathered around the firepit in the evenings and made s'mores as well as, playing games in the large yard. It was the perfect setting for our family gathering.

Great spot on the lake with great proximity to the Estate at Cheerokee Dock where our family was in a wedding. The house did not appear to have been used in a while, but nicely renovated and appointed.

Sleeps 5 couples easily with no one on a sleeper sofa! Close to our daughter’s wedding venue- Estate of Cherokee Dock. So convenient for all of our running back and forth before the big event. Good space for gathering on the deck or dining table. Full size refrigerator for all of the snacks or meals needed to feed everyone. Washing machine is a great asset! Was perfect for my 3 kids and spouses to stay for their sisters wedding. Thanks

Mostly renovated lake house. The 2 full bathrooms are very dated and small. Pretty views but not a great spot on the lake for our boat. Water level very low and lots of debris. Definitely not a place to swim either. The property managers were very nice and helpful.

We were in the area to participate in an art exhibition and decided to make it an extended family vacation. There were many local activities that four adults, two teens and a nine year old could all enjoy. Being on the lake/river and enjoying the wildlife was a highlight for everyone. The kids brought kayaks and we used the rentals so that everyone could join the fun. On rainy days we made trips into Nashville to explore local attractions and restaurants. The house was clean, well maintained and the kitchen was amazing. Our only complaint is that time passed too quickly.

The property and house was beautiful and this would have been a great vacation had this event not taken place. First and foremost it is ILLEGAL to record someone without their knowledge or consent. We found out in the middle of our stay that the owner “saw our dog” on the surveillance camera and we had to immediately get rid of him. Fine. He is 4lbs and we were keeping him outside as his sitter fell through, but we violated the rules and I accept that had to be addressed and we were wrong. The communication from the property manager around the dog being there was completely visceral and unprofessionally rude. All capital letters, just nasty. Did not appreciate it the way she spoke to me at all and she should reconsider her job if that type of communication is a common business practice. The greater issue in this was the realization that we were being recorded. What?! We then see there are ring cameras surrounding the house recording us both visually and on audio. Great the owner saw my dog. Did the owner also see my daughter in a bathing suit? Did the owner see my son running naked in the yard? I’m pretty sure I walked out in my underwear one morning looking for my bathing suit. Did the owner see my husband and I having a private moment on the back deck when we thought that WE WERE ALONE?! It actually makes me sick to my stomach that my entire family was being watched and recorded WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT on this multiple thousand dollar vacation. The video cameras were never mentioned in the listing and the owner called to tell me he included it AFTER the incident with our family only to cover his ass. I could have taken legal action, I could have escalated this with VRBO because it was in direct violation of their clearly outlined policies, but I chose not to; but would reconsider that decision if I get another nasty response from the property manager or anyone justifies this. The rest of the vacation my family was paranoid about being watched, listened to, and wondering where else cameras might be…overall it really negatively impacted a very rare and special family vacation. I was once stalked when I was younger. Being watched and not knowing it is a horrible feeling and something I am extremely sensitive to. None of that was ok and it is still not ok. I’m trying to put the experience past me but thinking about it even a month later makes me shaking mad.

Our family traveled from all over the country to meet here at this beautiful spot on the lake. We enjoyed the home, the yard, the relaxing views, the wildlife, and the close proximity to Nashville. This home was the perfect spot to relax and recharge in between Tennessee adventures.

It's was relaxing watching the water and feeling like we were away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet it was a very easy drive into downtown Nashville when we chose to go.

A great gathering place for friends and family to stay during a weekend wedding. The home was very clean and we enjoyed our time visiting on the spacious deck outside. We definitely would stay here again!

Wonderful property. Far enough outside of Nashville to avoid traffic but close enough to drive into the city for our Chesney concert. Nice neighbors who gave us good boating information. Plenty of space inside and outside for our whole family of adult children to enjoy. Brought our own boat and it was super easy to put it in at the dock up the road. Lovely trip

We came here to celebrate my 50th birthday, we had 5 couples. The house was perfect. Only thing we wished is we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend this place.

Older home with good updates! Well managed and very enjoyable to meet with old friends and discuss our lives. We were a group of friends from Viet Nam War who has gotten together periodically for the last 20 years. Highly recommend a dinner on S. Water Ave -- Old Glory. Inexpensive, good food, and service!

We came to town for a wedding at The Estate at Cherokee Dock. We had several pre-wedding events to attend and have small children who wouldn't be attending some of those events. We found this lovely home and booked it quickly as it is very convenient to the venue and had a large yard. We arrived in the evening (having driven 13 hours) and were exhausted. Check-in could not have been any easier and the house was absolutely perfect. The house is beautifully decorated and feels very cozy. The bedrooms are perfectly appointed with all the things you need. The beds and linens are so comfortable, and the biggest surprise that I didn't see listed but was for sure an essential to attending a formal wedding... full length mirrors in the bedrooms! The dual living-room/common spaces really helped with a house full of kiddos. The kitchen had everything we needed and several grocery store options are very close, (and some deliver). The yard is perfect for little feet to run around and burn off those "travel-wiggles". It's also barefoot friendly. :) Each morning, we stood and watched the sun reflect across the water while sipping our morning beverage of choice... there just isn't a better way to start a day. We watched turtles bask, boats go by, lovely birds, etc. Although we were there for a busy family wedding, we left wishing we'd had more time to just enjoy the property. The hosts are absolutely wonderful people. They responded super fast to a question we had. The neighbor was friendly as well as was quick to introduce himself and offer help if needed. The last morning we were there, we learned about the passing of my grandmother, our 94 yr old family matriarch, and we spent some time each chatting and reflecting on her life as we looked out over the water. I know I'll have those memories for the remainder of my lifetime. If you have an event to attend at Cherokee Dock, book this place and not a hotel.
