We have been coming to Marco for the past 10 years and know the area very well. I’m telling you the Somerset building and this unit is the absolute BEST location you can get on the island. We have stayed here multiple times and each time the owner, Donna, has been excellent. You cannot go wrong with this unit

This was our third trip to Marco Island with our kids, third time staying at Somerset, but first time staying in this unit. This was, by far, our favorite unit! The location with the stairwell right off the balcony to the pool and beach was super convenient. The unit was immaculate and beautiful. We had a couple random issues arise while we were there and the owner was super responsive and great about taking care of it promptly. Next time we return to Marco we will return to this property.

We had a great vacation but not sure what we paid makes sense given some shortcomings. Towels and bedding were of questionable cleanliness- we made it work and used the extra bedding that seemed fresher and washed things on our own in the unit. It was busy spring break season and likely a quick turnaround was the culprit and reflective of that weekend’s cleaning crew more than the unit itself.
Listing says “bikes” and none to be found - fine because we walked everywhere but …
Was very nice to have beach wagons, chairs and umbrellas at our disposal in the storage room below the unit. Location is walkable to lots of restaurants and unit is as close as you can get to the beach if you can manage the spiral case.
We had some pocket door issues (bedroom door not staying closed) with the second bedroom and it’s a bit labor intensive to always need a physical key to get on and off the beach. There’s a gate for the complex that’s used to get to the beach/pool area directly beneath the primary bedroom that rattles the entire room every time someone uses it which will wake you about 7 am or earlier each day unless you have some serious white noise going (there are 2 box fans which are a lifesaver!) The island and condo weren’t super crowded for a popular week which was great. I do feel we overpaid for the week but we got our oceanfront locale so if that’s what you seek, this will for your needs

We've stayed in the Somerset building for almost 10 years and in several different units. Donna was great to work with from the beginning and the unit met and exceeded our expectations - beautifully decorated and designed for comfort and relaxation.
We are both still working and have found the setting perfect to connect and produce for our jobs remotely and still have the sense of retreat and relaxation. Being able to work directly with the owner is a definite plus and not to be taken for granted. We look forward to our next stay.

The property was as advertised and delivered on all aspects of a high valued rental. I can not think of an improvement for either the condo or the building grounds.

This is a very nice property on a great SW Florida barrier island beach. Everything is as pictured and the kitchen was reasonably well stocked with plates and cooking pots, pans, and utensils. Donna did a good job as manager.

Stunning views in a very updated and clean (as advertised) condo. This was perfect for our family of 4. All of the amenities are fantastic including all the extras available for use in the Cabana. The views of the beach and sunsets are simply stunning. Donna was so nice and helpful. Smooth vacation for us in a beautiful beach home!

Very nice condo, updated and a big two bedroom. . condo owner has their own bikes and beach items there for you to use in their private cabana. Close to JW Marriott so close to many great restaurants and bars. If I could find a negative it would be the pools are small. But then again you have a great big ocean only steps away!

The condo is clean and everything we expected. There is close proximity to the beach and pool and the sunsets were amazing every night. It was our first visit to Marco Island, but definitely not our last! Donna, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great location and breathtaking views. Owner was very responsive to our concern as we weren’t able to close the second bedroom door as the latch was broken. Would have liked to have a way to lock and unlock the slider door to the balcony from the outside when heading to the beach/pool via the spiral staircase. Overall a good stay in Marco Island!

We loved the location and ease of where it was located. It met all of our needs while we were there. The view was fantastic. The best part was whenever we contacted the owner, she was very nice, courteous, and helpful. Everything combined made for a wonderful and relaxing getaway. I highly recommend.

Perfect Vacation
We had an amazing stay! This condo is beautiful, and extremely clean. The location is absolutely perfect! With kids we loved being able to walk down our stairs and be at the pool and/or beach. We also loved all the beach chairs and umbrellas! Great location for walking to restaurants too! Will definitely stay here again. Perfect place for the perfect vacation!

Outstanding views. Perfect location in the building for kids and families that want direct access to the pool and beach. Storage room below the unit for all your beach needs shared with 2 other units. Sometimes the other units took more than they needed but we made it work. Definitely would stay again. Updated, clean and a great location.

We have been coming to Marco Island and staying at the Somerset for over 10years. This unit was just perfect. Very clean, well kept and nicely decorated. Bonus it is on first floor so access to unit and beach is a snap. Comfortable chairs on the lanai. Would highly recommend staying here if available.

My wife and I love vacationing in Marco Island and we have enjoyed staying at 5 or 6 different properties, but The Somerset was the best! Gorgeous facility, perfect location and Donna's condo was absolutely First Class! We felt honored to have Donna share her home with us.

Beautiful condo!
This is the place to stay on Marco Island! Beautifully decorated, sleek modern condo with fabulous water views. It is very well furnished with all the amenities you could ever need and is impeccably clean. Strong WiFi for those "working from home." Nice heated pools, fitness center and a cabana filled with beach supplies and bikes. It is in a great location with easy access to the pools, beach, restaurants and shops. Donna was a great host, quick to respond to my questions and made sure our stay went well. Her home made our first trip to Marco Island a memorable one. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this condo to all.

Beautiful setting
Property is gorgeous Very family friendly. 2nd bedroom door wouldn’t latch. It’s BR shower head disconnected from wall but still worked fine. Same with toilet paper holder. Smoke alarm battery was dead and no replacement found in condo. These are easily fixed issues and in no way compromised our stay or enjoyment. Overall a gorgeous property and beach.
