We were there in October weather was low to mid 20s. The property , although a little outdated, was well equipped, nicely furnished and clean . The fridge was a good size. Good water pressure in the shower and a pleasant outlook over the pool. There was a good size patio with table, chairs and other seating. A fan was provided in the bedroom and portable heaters were available to use. The bed mattress was firm and comfortable. Access to the pool and other services was very good.

There was no air conditioning, I noticed it was not listed when booking, but thought the weather would be cool enough. (Lesson learned!) However the bedroom with the en-suite overlooking the pool had patio doors which we did not feel safe opening at night . The windows in the other rooms opposite were locked and were sliding so it looked like they could not be secured. This meant there was no airflow at night, and no way to cool the room . I would not like to stay there in warmer temperatures. The pillows on all beds were small, extremely soft and lumpy. Not at all comfortable. This impacted on the quality of our sleep. The property is called Boavista, and in communication prior to going “Reception “ is referred to. However there is no reception on the complex and the property is managed from outside the golf resort.

The house has 2 WC's and lots of space, swimming pool is very good, garden space.

There is no Barbecue! before the booking i message to the host to check if there is a barbecue, and the response was yes. On the appartment i didn't see any barbecue, i messsage the host and the reply is we are contacting host, until today... So no barbecue at all. For a 4 start appartment should have more facilities, like cleaning services included on the appartment or at lest have a Vacuum cleaner for us to clean the appartment.

We visit algarve often and we stayed in many places .This resort turned out to be one of our favorites .Comfy ,right by the pool , perfect lawn for kids ,well located for our surf trips. Recommend it in heartbeat.

Distance to the beach and to shops.You really need a car .

Fantastic location, apartment had every item you could need and all very high quality. Beds were comfortable and portable heaters and throws were provided to keep off the chill. The kitchen was well appointed and dishwasher tablets and washing up equipment all provided. Lovely table and chairs outside and superb security with electric blinds that secured all windows and doors. Apartment was lovely and spacious with plenty of natural light.
