We were a group of 11 adults and 2 toddlers. Spent 9 nights at Shanee Prana. The house is large and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well tended. 20 minutes drive from Cairns airport and 10 minutes to the skyrail, 30 minutes to Cairns and the boats out to the reef, so good location. You appreciate the pool because you dont want to swim at the beach due to stinger season and crocodile risk. Its a little more rustic than the photos show, but clean and comfortable. Tennis court is great but the rackets were a bit sad, and we needed new balls (not a big deal unless you are a serious player, in which case, byo). Its a great house to relax in and big enough to find a quiet spot when needed. Airconditioners and fans throughout. We loved our stay and would stay at Shanee Prana again.

We had an amazing stay at this property. The pictures accurately depict the beauty and comfort of the place. The pool, tennis court, and the spacious surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for a variety of enjoyable activities throughout our stay.
The well-equipped kitchen and convenient laundry facilities truly made it feel like a home away from home. We were able to easily cook meals and take care of our laundry needs, adding an extra layer of convenience to our vacation.
Lara's communication was outstanding, and any issues we raised were promptly and effectively addressed.
I highly recommend this property, especially if you're looking for a relaxing getaway with family and friends.

Lara’s home was an ideal property for our scattered family of 9 to come together to celebrate a milestone birthday. A large double block with with an impressive driveway through a beautiful garden backing on large rainforest ranges behind.
Plenty of accommodation to allow privacy and comfort with nicely appointed ensuites.
A large open modern kitchen and dining area allowed for our meal gatherings. The tennis court provided lots of family rivalry and a small but ample sized pool to cool off.
It was an well positioned for tourism around the area which we took advantage of.
A vehicle is needed to to get around and to the local shopping centers.
All in all a very special property.

We all absolutely loved staying at the property. There is plenty of room for us to be together or to carve out space for ourselves. It is paradise.

We loved our stay, amazing place, easy friendly communication, safe community.
We had three families stay with kids ranging from 4 to 18. Everyone had a blast - kids loved the pool, adults enjoyed the tennis court and the outdoor kitchen/bbq area was perfect for what we needed - we ate outside every night and pretty much every other meal too.
Would highly recommend for a large group looking to relax in the beautiful Cairns climate.

Kewarra beach was the perfect place for our annual extended family holiday, it had everything we needed. The house was lovely and the tennis court and pool provided a resort feel that meant we could just stay and relax.
We would definitely recommended this property.

Calming, Perfect Location and SOO MUCH ROOM
Paula and Lara were a delight to deal with pre-arrival, on check in and post trip.
I cannot put into words how beautiful this location is and all the eclectic corners and art around the house made the stay feel homey. The gardens are kept prestine with soo mamy tropical trees and plants and flowers setting the mood of constant serenity. Tennis court and Pool were amazing features will all equipment you need for a great time. The Rooms were spacious, Kitchen was well stocked and the living room lounges were the most comfortable for evening chills and a Wine. This house made our trip to Cairns a definite 10/10. Can’t wait to return !!

at Shanee Prana you live in the middle of a tropical garden in an extremely well equipped house
the tropical, very open architecture gave us a lot of space and privacy for us parents and our two children but could easily be home for another family in the 2nd wing. you have the choice between the pool in front or the tennis court in the back of the house. everything incl garden and tennis court is very well maintained(!) - we stayed here finishing our holidays but will come back next time for a werk and explore the area from here, beaches are 5min drive, cairns 15min, tableland or port douglas/mossman 1 hour. lara is a very friendly host doing all she can with her staff to make things possible.

The house is big enough to accomodate a larger group. We were a group of 10 and our stay was very relaxing. There's plenty of room for the kids to play and the outdoor dining area is perfect.

Fantastic kids-friendly tropical home!
The house is fantastic, very comfortable and safe for 3 couples and 5 kids. The bedrooms have modern comfortable beds and bathrooms are also very good.
The garden is amazing, with lots of space to play, a nice pool and a tennis court. The big barbecue also made our evenings very delicious!
The location is very beautiful, quite and peaceful, however the beach is reachable only by car.

shanee prana is a beautiful house, beautiful setting, lots of thoughtful details like shampoo etc, lots of towels, plenty of great stuff in the kitchen to cook great meals not just basic. fantastically clean and well maintained. very spacious with many different areas to relax and still have your stuff around you without it being cluttered. we all loved our stay and were very sad to leave would definately go back!!

great holiday property
Our extended family with ages ranging from 88 to 3 months were well accommodated in this beautiful home. We were appreciative of the all the facilities which allowed us to celebrate together but also find quiet places to re-group. Our introduction on the property use and facilities was well supported by the housekeeper. We would return without hesitation.

A hidden gem!
My family have just come back from an incredible 8 days staying at Shanee. Anyone who books this property will definitely not be disappointed and it certainly ticks all the boxes to ensure a successful family holiday. We loved lazying around the pool, playing tennis,reading a book in the hammock whilst admiring the tropical gardens, enjoying meals out on the beautiful deck, and visiting the Barrier reef and other tourist attractions this part of the world has to offer.The house itself is exquisite and much bigger than i had imagined. My children are still talking about this holiday! Thank you Lara for not only being extremely helpful with sharing your knowledge of the area but for also allowing us to share your wonderful piece of paradise!

Serenity at Shanee
Our 5 night stay was "blissful" at this wonderful property tucked away in a most tranquil part of Kewarra Beach. The extremely peaceful neighbourhood with it's delightful tropical surroundings will definitely see us return to this 'little piece of paradise', as our time there was a special blessing :) Many thanks to Lara, our most helpful and caring hostess, who ensured we were well taken care of at beautiful "Shanee".

Okay for larger families
We stayed as a family of six, 2 adults and 4 children and found the house large enough to accommodate us. There were a few things that could have been better, I would have appreciated fresh linen on the beds (the bed linen smelt musty),and would have liked to have seen the kitchen and appliances in the kitchen cleaner also. My children were disappointed that the tennis court lights were not working, as we spent each day out on day trips, the children would have liked to play tennis in the evening as we holidayed in June, the days are rather short, and as I chose this accommodation as it had a pool and tennis court, this was annoying. A bit too high priced but if these items were rectified it would have been far better.
