A lovely quiet little cottage in beautiful surrounds. Thank you Doug and Jan for the lovely welcome, the amazing welcome basket and for being such great hosts.

Over the past 2 years we’ve tried many cottages in the lower price range in Denmark and Eaglemont was our favourite. Small,but well appointed, clean cottage. Lovely hosts. We’ve enjoyed the lawn surrounded by beautiful Karri trees, abundant bird life and visiting kangaroos. An easy bike ride to Greens Pool.

Doug & Jan made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived. On entering Boronia Cottage, we immediately knew we were in the perfect place to relax. A basket of “goodies” were an added touch of country. The cottage was spotless & the bed very comfortable. Doug kindly gave us binoculars to use to see the bird life up close. And there were plenty to see! Food for the fairy wrens (who visited us twice a day) was supplied. It was a stay in a very special place, never to be forgotten. We will definitely be returning to “Heaven on Earth”. Thank you Doug & Jan for sharing your property with us, and your kindness towards us was heartwarming. Pam & David

Surrounded by trees, birds, nature. Lovely cottage. Very clean and tidy. Very comfortable. Welcomed with super delicious muffins, and lots of goodies und homemade bread. Great hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Serenity and Tranquillity if you don't want a rushed itinerary this is the place to stay. Loved the bird activity in garden and the star gazing at night. Dough and Jan are just the nicest people and the home baked goodies are such a special touch!!

I couldn’t recommend this property more, Doug and Jan are the best hosts I’ve come across. Their willingness to assist in all matters and friendliness makes a thoroughly enjoyable stay even better. A warm Welcome from Walker the dog was the icing on the cake. The property is immaculate and set in the perfect location in the serenity of the forest but close enough to all the tourist attractions of Denmark and surrounding areas. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next stay. 100/10

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Eaglemont. The cottage was cute and cosy with beautiful gardens to enjoy. Everything was well maintained & clean. We also had lovely fresh bread, eggs and jam waiting our arrival. A lovely treat. Doug was so friendly and welcoming too. The location was excellent and we were able to enjoy a beautiful couple of days away from the hustle and bustle. I would definitely recommend this stay.

Beautiful property. We were welcomed by owners Doug and Jan who greeted us by name and were very informative without being intrusive. A welcome basket of freshly baked bread, muffins jam, butter and milk was above and beyond. No wifi at property but this did not matter at all and was welcomed digital detox. Recommend for all who want to get way from it all but be so close to all the beautiful attractions of Denmark

Lovely little cottage, clean, well equipped, beautiful setting. Amazing breakfast basket awaits you. Wonderful host. My family and I really enjoyed our time there.

Great hosts made everything easy for us. This is a simple two bed holiday cabin in really good condition in lovely garden surroundings, near to good beaches and wineries. No wifi or phone signal but that suited us pretty well for a short holiday. Would recommend.

Great getaway for a young family. Close to William Bay (Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks). The kids love it. Limited phone reception, which can be a blessing these days. Doug and Jan are fantastic and friendly hosts.

We had an enjoyable stay with Doug and Jan at their lovely farm. They were gracious hosts and they helped us in so many ways. The breakfast basket was terrific and they went out of their way to help us find somewhere to go for Christmas lunch, which was greatly appreciated. The cottage has a lovely view and had all the amenities we needed for our six-nights. We recommend this as a great farm stay holiday.

The property is like a botanical garden and Jan’s homemade bread and muffins were a lovely unexpected surprise. We loved every minute of our stay. Highly recommended.

We visited Denmark for four days and at short notice, Boronia Cottage (Eaglemont) was ideally situated to visit many nearby attractions and the town itself which is a ten minute drive. The hosts were excellent and the cottage perfect for three adults.

A lovely peaceful environment with lots of native flora and fauna. We particularly liked the large number and variety of native birds frequenting the surrounding bush (as well as our verandah). Welcoming hosts and a clean and comfortable cottage with all the facilities were very much appreciated. Thanks very much for the very enjoyable stay.

When we first arrived, we were a little disappointed to see that the surrounding bushland was burnt in the bushfire 4 weeks earlier. That was where the disappointment ended. We were greeted by Doug who was very welcoming and providing us with a first hand story of the fire and many other tips of places to visit and eat at in town. It's amazing to see the bush regenerating so quickly and we made the most of the nearby tracks. The chalet was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. The basket of bread, muffins and eggs was a nice surprise too and was much appreciated. Our hosts were very helpful with everything. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely return.

This was our second time staying at Eaglemont and I can easily say we'll never stay anywhere else in Denmark. Its not just the stunning views, quiet setting or beautiful self contained cottage that makes this place so special. Its the fact that you'll have the best hosts you could ask for. You'll be met with 2 smiles, a friendly dog and basket of goodies (bread, muffins, jams, etc) and Doug and Jan are always happy to give you advice about things to do in Denmark. Highly recommend!

Excellent accommodating hosts that went out of their way to help whenever they could but also respected our privacy. A little gem of a spot in a beauty part of the world.

This little cottage (one of two), nicely dated in country style, is well situated (though some way from town) amidst Karri trees and green surroundings which, despite the recent fires through the area, have kept that feel. The hosts, Jan and Doug, are welcoming and there as needed, the cottage was clean, comfortable and quiet. Home made bread, fresh eggs and garden herbs, enough for the morning’s breakfast were provided. Happy to recommend this place.

Lively outlook- despite recent fire

I had a delightful and relaxing stay with Jan and Doug at their cottages in Shadforth, Denmark. Great communication throughout the booking process and a welcoming basket of breakfast goodies was a delight. Doug had a wealth of knowledge and recommendations for making the most of my time there. The location is perfect for access to William Bay and a short drive into Denmark - indeed I easily visited most of the known spots and a few local favourites 😊 There was something magical in the air because I slept like a baby every night! Despite having to evacuate 1 night early because of the recent bushfire - Doug and Jan ensured I was well informed and safe. I had a wonderful time and highly recommend if you are planning to visit Denmark any time soon.

Owners helpful and hospitable. Good grassed area for children to play on. Great location - trees, and not far from Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks. Limited phone reception - not such a bad thing. Chalet cosy but perfectly adequate. We had an enjoyable few days staying at Eaglemont and would recommend it for a small family or couple.
