We had a great time in door county. The Villa is a wonderful place to stay. This is my 2nd time at the villa & I hope many more to come!! The house is so nice & cozy & the views are amazing!! The weekend we stayed the weather wasn’t great, but even so the property was beautiful. We still enjoyed the sound of the waves and the serenity of the property. We were lucky enough to catch a sunset followed by a storm rolling in. Would definitely go back!

We had a great week in Door County. The property was beautiful and just as VRBO described. A few things that were not so great: I asked the owner for her phone number or for a property manager’s phone number in case we had any problems during our stay. She said she was in Europe and couldn’t be reached and has no property manager. The toaster didn’t work. The fixture for the bathtub drain wouldn’t open once I closed it. So I used the other shower, which was fine. The TV remote in the living room was impossible to figure out without instructions. We could turn it on but couldn’t figure out how to turn the volume up and down or even change the station (no numbers or up and down buttons). A simple sheet of instruction would have been helpful. Same with the thermostat. Pushing the up and down button did not change the temperature. A sheet with instructions for that would help too. We’re not stupid. But when you stay in a new place some things work differently than you’re used to. The red light was on in the laundry room when we arrived on Saturday afternoon, so we called the number she left for the company to come and empty the holding tank. They came on Labor Day. None of these issues affected the wonderful week we had. I could sit in that sunroom and read, listening to the waves for hours. It was a very relaxing place. We really enjoyed our time there, and it was convenient to shopping and galleries. We took the scenic trolley tour just north of Egg Harbor, which I recommend.

This is the second time my friends and I have stayed at this property! We love it! The location is perfect, the house has everything we need, and there is a great view. Barbara answered all questions promptly and was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to vacation in Door County.

If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the place to stay! BEAUTIFUL........everything about this place. Enjoyed the great artwork hung throughout the house, awesome fireplace, the big kitchen and bedrooms, and especially the outside area. We were lucky enough to have wonderful weather first week in November took advantage of the firepit by the water and star gazing the awesome night skies, even saw a few shooting stars! Already talking about revisiting Villa Royer - Waterfront Home again!! Thanks for sharing your house with us!!

What a great location, home, view, you name it! I had a great week in Door County and would definitely stay here again, everything met my expectations and more.

This is our second time staying at the Villa and it was wonderful. We spent most of our time down At the lake reading, watching boaters, and making s’mores. It’s a great place to unwind and relax.

Great location right on Green Bay with no other homes in sight. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. It has a great deck overlooking the water with several Adirondack chairs on it to watch the sunset. We liked it so much that we have already booked it for next year.

My wife, son, and I really enjoyed our stay. Quiet comfortable with beautiful view!

The house is adorable, so clean and has every amenity you could think of to make our stay perfect. The view is spectacular, too!

My husband and I took our first trip to Door County and had a wonderful time and are missing the lovely villa already...definitely will be back. Maybe when it is warmer to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space. You can tell the owners have a lot of pride in the Villa...so lucky for us the enjoy...we did not want to leave! Can’t wait to go back!

Our week long stay was wonderful. This home suited our needs perfectly, and was so well equipped. Anything we wanted or needed was supplied. The property was just as pictured, although to see it in person was better! The house was so charming and comfortable, and the location was spectacular. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace and the deck. Since it was late October we were bundled up, but we truly enjoyed listening to the waves crashing and viewing the beautiful sunsets. Barbara was very accommodating and was very quick to answer our questions. We hope to return some time soon!

This place was perfect for us. Great location outside of Egg Harbor. We loved looking out at the water and listening to the waves crashing into shore. Unfortunately we could spend just 3 nights here at this great home. Hoping next year we can return when the weather would allow us to enjoy the lovely outdoors.

My sisters and I wanted to get away for a relaxing long weekend. The home was just lovely and the views of the water were amazing. The weather didn't cooperate with us, part of the time but we enjoyed just staying in and sitting by the fire and just hanging out. We would definitely rent this home again. Barbara was quick to answer any questions we had. Overall experience = Two thumbs up.

Four girlfriends celebrating “big” birthdays traveled to Door County for some rest and relaxation! This was the perfect location for this! We enjoyed playing games on the screened in porch; dominos by the fireplace; painting rocks; wine on the deck by firepit... the memories are endless! We were tucked away from the hustle and bustle - but close enough to go enjoy restaurants, shopping, and wineries!

We enjoyed our stay incredibly, to say the least. We stayed October 1-4 so weather is "iffy" that time of year. It rained and was cloudy most of our time here, BUT we didn't mind a bit. There is still so much to do in Door County and even "staying in" is fun and enjoyable. The home is decorated perfectly, I love every detail. The home has everything you need, the ONLY thing we missed was not having was a pair of binoculars. We enjoyed much of our time out on the deck by the water, drinking coffee and talking, listening to the waves, watching the storm and one night and a fire in the fire pit by the water. During our stay we ate at the Shipwreck restaurant, took a trolly ride to see landmarks and points of interest, ate breakfast at the Rusty Tractor Breakfast Barn, stopped at the Hardy Gallery, had fish boil at Pelletier's (wonderful), tried to watch the sun set at Sun Set Park near White Gull Inn, but a storm was coming and cloudy, still pretty however, great views, and toured the Maritime Museum in Sturgeon bay, the John Purves Tug tour was great ! We enjoyed scenic rides in the car and just sight seeing and stopping places that looked fun. I think the most enjoyable part of our stay, was when we had a big storm on Wednesday evening. After dinner, heading back to the house, there was a crazy cool lightning show, we got back in time to put on our rain coats and head to the deck by the water to watch it and listen to the waves crash. Then it POURED, we ran back and watched the storm from the comfort of the house. After a lot of rain and high wind the power went out ! There we candles there for us, an emergency flash light plugged in and there were also flashlights in the drawer and the gas fireplace. We sat up and chatted until 1:00 am, about 2:45 the power came back on. That was a very nice evening as we all enjoy storms. I highly recommend staying at The Villa, in Egg Harbor. Its a beautiful property and close to everything Door County has to offer.

This is a beautiful villa and our family of five felt very comfortable there. It looks just like the photos if not better. The kitchen is spacious and great for meal prep. The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee. We really enjoyed the deck down by the shore. The kids loved roasting marshmallows and skipping rocks down there. The hubs and I loved watching the gorgeous sunset. The shore is rocky but our kids (ages 8 to 11) had fun swimming. We brought water shoes for them, which I would definitely recommend. Barbara was very easy to work with. We had everything we needed. We are looking forward to staying there again next year!
