Location, location, location!!! The Beach Place is located directly across from John’s Pass making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The building is dated and could use some upgrading. The coded process to get anywhere is less than desirable but works. The furniture in the living room could use a deep clean. All the furniture including the beds is extremely comfortable. There are new appliances and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The only miss is a Keurig maker! Overall a great option for vacationing in St Pete!!

Enjoyed the unit. Each of us had our own bed. Plenty of room. Tvs hard to work The air could only go as low as 72 degrees. We wouldn't be able to stay there in the heat of the summer.Some of the blinds were broken.one bed headboard broken.But beds very comfortable. Unit was clean except for the carpet. It turned our feet black. Great location. Pool and grounds very clean. Perfect access to the beach. Public parking lot next door should be closed at night. Not the units fault. Beautiful beach. We had a great time.

This should have been the perfect vacation spot for us 4 friends, but although the location was perfect, there were too many annoyances to overlook. It started with spotting 2 roaches the first night/day we were there. Mgt sent over the bug guy the next day who only sprayed the kitchen and one bathroom since we had no notice he was coming. It did nothing, we saw many more roaches thruout the unit during the week. Pool rules were not enforced with tons of inflatables in the pool and everyone saving chairs with their towels. Often there were no chairs left for us and no room in the pool either with all the screaming kids and their toys. We were bothered a few more times with no notice: Mgt coming in to change the furnace filter, Mgt coming in with dogs to sniff for bed bugs, and the worst was when our hallway was roped off to have the floors refinished. We were told this would happen on Thursday, but didn't know it would be for 5 hrs that we couldn't get in or out of our unit. And we were never called to tell us it was dry so we could leave or return to our unit. Thankfully the weather was nice and location perfect so we did have fun. But we will not be back to this building Beach Place #206

The cleanest area was the pool ... wonderful worker! The condo is in desperate need of an upgrade and get rid of the very worn bedroom carpets. The thin worn bath towels that we were given were an embarrassment. And shame on not providing beach towels and chairs to guests who are flying into town. In my 8 years of renting on the gulf, I've never had to bring my own. Bottom line--- I expect something at least as good as what I have at home and it wasn't that condo. The few times I had to go the the office, the 2 women barely looked up from their computer to address my questions. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would love their jobs, if they're that unhappy. The location was the only positive.

The property from the pool to the condo was so well taken care of...clean, well-maintained, etc. We didn't want to leave! Our grandchildren wanted to know what they had to do to stay forever at The Beach Place! That's the ultimate compliment from a 6 and an 11 year old!

We have stayed in this condo two times and are going back next yearThe condo is a perfect location for us. We love the fact we just have to take the stairs. Our grandchildren love to watch the bridge go up.Also,watching dolphins!.I would suggest the owners find a new cleaning service. I had to clean the floors ,kitchen and baths. Our feet were black. The rug at the entrance smelled sour. Another thing I’d suggest is the patio be repainted the paint is peeling and it sticks to your feet. As an owner of a condo I would want to know if my condo is being maintained properly. It’s to nice of a condo not to be. Thank you for letting us enjoy your condo!

Unit 206. Completely dated. Cloth furniture is stained. Carpet is gross. Lights are dull and many bulbs were burnt out. Rats were witnessed in the south side of the building near the pool. Was told we could not turn ac down. Noisy box fans were provided (also old and dusty). Many interior doors very beat up. Need replacing or at least painted. Doors to balcony did not lock which is concerning only being on the second floor. Kitchen counter tops in bad shape. Many cabinet doors do not close correctly. Cooking sheets and pans still greasy. All In all. Gross. This unit needs a complete remodel.

Sofa and love seat were nice to look at but uncomfortable to sit on, seemed broken down. Also, TV instructions TV operation were hard to understand

Loved staying in unit 206. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 parking spots. You won't be disappointed. Office staff were very personable and helpful. Pool stayed open later than posted so that was very nice. So much fun watching the boats coming in and out and people showing up early to fish. When you walk to John's Pass, go through the park and under the bridge. It is nice to walk that way and takes you right to the boardwalk. Up early every morning to see the sunrise from the boardwalk and watch the pelicans diving for food and dolphins jumping.

July 2020 Stay
This is our 3rd time staying at Beach Place Condos and it didn’t disappoint! We have had an amazing 10 days relaxing and enjoying the sun and sand!! We have always noticed how clean the place is kept from the condos and stairwells to the pool and parking garage - we have never had any issues.

Perfect getaway
Beach Place is our favorite place to stay in Florida. The location is perfect so you can walk to almost anything you need. This condo was once of the best ones we have stayed in here. We had plenty of space and the kitchen was very well-stocked. We even had the tools we needed to use the on-site grills. We were afraid the sounds from the pool would be too loud, but they were not at all. We definitely will book this place again!

After two years in a different condo, we tried this one and loved it! Tall family of 5 adults and 2 kids and we had plenty of room. Everything was just perfect! We especially liked the extra drying rack for hanging out wet swimsuits. Thanks for a great vacation space!!

This is our 4th time to Beach Place. Our 1st time in this unit. We loved the corner unit with views of the beach and John’s Pass. Well stocked with essentials and the beds very comfortable. My only complaint is that while the building was getting painted the pool was inaccessible for a few hours one of the days.

We had a great time. We overlooked the pool as well as the beach. We were a couple minutes walk from Johns Pass were we rented a boat for the day, went on a sunset cruise, went shopping, had dinner and lunch and hit a few of the bars without having to worry about driving. Our condo was clean and had everything we needed for the week. We will definitely be back.

Had a super time! Love the area! Beautiful beach, beautiful sunsets, amazing nearby places to eat and shop, close to St. Pete airport, and Tampa is just 45 minutes away. Condo suited our needs perfectly for 4 adults, 2 young children, and an infant. Only problem was the floors were dirty and beds were not that comfortable and did not have enough pillows, but we will definitely be back again because the positives outweigh the negatives. Also so nice to have 2 parking spaces! Office staff were very friendly and welcoming!

Always an enjoyable stay. the only thing that got in our way was Red Tide. the clean up crew was parked just outside of the pool fence which made the smell extremely bad. but no fault of the Beach Place Resort. see you next year😀

Large, well-situated beach front condo at Johns' Pass.
A quiet spacious corner unit with a pleasant view of the beach, pool and John's Pass Draw Bridge. The unit is large with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a laundry room. It was very convenient to restaurants, shops and local attractions.
I can agree with some of the other reviews. The furniture in the living area is very uncomfortable. The sofa cushions are over stuffed so that you roll to the side when you try to sit on it. I had to prop myself up with pillow to sit upright to watch TV. The carpet by the balcony could use some cleaning.
But overall it gave us a convenient place to stay with ready access to the beach and the pool. Hopefully, the carpet will get cleaned and the sofa and love seat will be replaced. If so, I would be glad to stay there again.

Needs updating!!!!!!!
The area is beautiful, no denying that and the resort folks are kind and responsive however the place is old and dated.
I was embarrassed when we arrived as I brought two people with me hyped about the trip. Pictures were not exaggerated but rather taken in the lightest conditions making them appear better.
The floors were dirty, the carpet and furniture is in sickening need of a cleaning/ updating. Mold in the shower, sinks don't work and half of the lights didn't work. Could we have called maintenance? Sure but who wants them there during your stay?
The painting was shotty and I felt like I was taken back in time to the 70's. To think I had planned this and saved my money to get my mom back to Florida where she stayed years ago as a suprise. Boy was I let down!! I can only imagine how she must have felt sleeping in a dungeon room each night. To think that I would have paid double for that corner unit. Price was not my concern.
Though we felt sick everytime we returned back from an outing. At least the balcony let us escape but even there, doors looked shabby and the locks didn't work.
Loved the views, breathtaking! And the accessibility to everything was nice. Pool was immaculate.

We reserved a three bedroom condo, hard to find! Necessary for three adult couples. 206 Beach Place Condo was a great location, excellent view of Gulf!
The condo missed the mark on several easily fixed and important features. The beautiful deck was huge plus, would have been better e;joyed with chairs that were not ill repair and need of support. The couches and furniture in unit were old and sagging, needed upgrading, great kitchen and island, cheap uncomfortable chairs around island and kitchen table: A 3 bedroom condo with full kitchen should include pot holders and updated utensils, sub par no potholders and I had to purchase utensils. Rugs in condo needed replacement and TVs needed updating as did the faulty outlets: kitchen cabinets needed to be fixed, lazy Susan closest to the sink kept falling off hinges
Property management spot on, pool clean and property clean, owners need to spend a bit more on their property to support the rental fees!
We had a wonderful time, as stated before location was the best!
