Questo adorabile cottage sul mare situato sulla spiaggia di ciottoli di SW Harbour è letteralmente sospeso sull'acqua durante l'alta marea. Una master king suite al secondo piano con balcone privato, vasca, wet bar e frigorifero ha una magnifica vista sul porto e sulle montagne del Parco Nazionale di Acadia. La seconda camera da letto è una suite matrimoniale con ingresso indipendente sul balcone del primo piano. A soli 2 km dalla Seawall Beach di Acadia, un giro in bici o una passeggiata per molti. Alcuni potrebbero non lasciare affatto il cottage e semplicemente guardare l'attività nautica dai grandi ponti rilassanti. Absolutely beautiful. We could have stayed the home all day and just looked out at the water. Very comfy for 4 adults or small family. Had everything you needed for cooking and all other home stuff. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at your house. The area is quiet and quaint. Our boys enjoyed waking up to the beautiful views off the deck. The only negative is that we couldn't find the kayaks to use and the downstairs bedroom was very hot.

This is a beautiful property, stretching right over Southwest Harbor, providing all amenities – even Bluetooth built-in ceiling speakers throughout. The views are stunning, watching Hinckley yachts in action is beautiful - the back porch is a perfect place for meals, and there is more than ample space inside as well. Living quarters are apple, the bedrooms, beautiful. Three bathrooms! Perfect. Can’t wait to come back.

Beatiful house right on the harbor. No other neighbors and right on the water. You also get to watch boats go in and out all day. Within driving distance of many great places.

What an amazing house! Perfect for two couples. Loved watching the working harbor and the dry dock in the morning with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend this house. Walking distance from Peter Trouts Tavern .

Very nice stay, clean, fun to be near harbor. As another reviewer wrote there is action early in am on dock so you will get waken up with boats being put out and such. The only thing that I had not looked at before booking was that checkout is at 9am! That was too early for us with kids but they were unable to change it to later. So if that’s an issue , especially if you have young kids , I would check with them before booking if they can give you a later checkout. Otherwise house is awesome.

We had a wonderful stay in mid June 2024. The house is even more beautiful in person and everything we could need was included. Each evening we sat on the porch with a glass of wine and watched the sailboats. It doesn’t get better than that! The A/C system was difficult to use but that could likely be user error :) Overall, we would recommend to all our friends and family!

Ideal for two couples or some sibs to get away. I'm particular and the kitchen is very nice and well supplied. As are the bedrooms, the bathrooms (excellent water pressure!), the whole place. Very comfortable and we'll be coming back!

We like travels, this house is the best! we were very surprised how lovely is this place, beautiful harbor view from bed rooms and large balcony, interior is full furnished and decorated, super clean and comfortable, have everything ready for guests. we wish we can have few more days not going anywhere, just stay in house.

The property was perfectly located, it was immaculate and the amenities were extensive. It had everything you could have wanted. We were there just before hurricane Lee and watching the Hinkley crews remove the boats from the water was entertaining. we look forward to staying there again. Dealings with our host were quick efficient and responsive. Thank you!

This property redefines oceanfront. At high tide the water surrounds 3/4’s of the house. The house is beautiful and in a great location! The owners were very attentive and helpful. We loved it here. Only thing to note is that the property is next to a working boatyard. Work can start as early as 7:00 AM. For us it was really fascinating sitting on the deck and watching boats being lifted out of the water and put back in. Always something happening!

A beautiful location right on the waterfront in Southwest Harbor with a great view looking across toward Somes Sound. The house is as advertised and in beautiful condition. I have stayed at the location twice ( first time was before it was totally renovated and upgraded by the current owner). The only thing to be aware of is that the house sits right next to the Hinckley boatyard, that is a pretty busy place in the summer with big boats being frequently hauled and put back into the water. While that just adds another aspect of working harbor life, it can get a bit loud at times during the day with the equipment they use, especially in early morning. But since the house does have air conditioning, you do have the ability to shut the background noise out. Other than that, it is a perfect location to explore the island from.

Clean, new and comfortable with gorgeous views of the harbor. Be sure you can navigate a spiral staircase to the primary bedroom before renting…although there’s a lovely bedroom also in the first floor.

As soon as you walk in you are in love with this house. Can’t fault anything about it. We did have a wifi issue (boo Spectrum!) but convenient accommodation was made and the cellular service was great (we use Verizon). Definitely recommend.

This was our second time spending Thanksgiving at Seashore Cottage in Southwest Harbor and it did not disappoint again. We love it here and working with Stacy was a pleasure and the house was spotless when we arrived. Breathtaking views of the harbor and mountains and we really enjoyed watching the boats go buy and the tide come in and out under the deck. The house is finished beautifully - wonderful walk-in showers, modern appliances, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds and furniture. Location is excellent, just minutes from downtown Southwest Harbor.

Beautiful 50th Anniversary Getaway
Came to this beautiful house to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary which was July 14th. The view was amazing, the house very updated. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the upstairs deck, watching the tide go in and out and watching all the boating activities. Thank you for sharing this property with us ❤️

Loved it!
We loved our stay, the house was absolutely gorgeous. Had everything we needed. I so enjoyed starting each day by sitting out on the upper deck, enjoying my morning coffee and looking out at the beautiful view. Watching the actions of the boatyard was fun and interesting and added to the experience.

Perfect house on the quiet side.
We love staying on the “ quiet side” of Acadia. We found this house on VRBO and it was perfect. The house is so nice and the deck overlooking the harbor was amazing. The has worked out great for two couples. Having one bedroom and bath downstairs and a huge living space upstairs with it’s own deck allowed us to enjoy a fantastic week while giving us plenty of personal space and privacy. The washer and dryer was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous waterfront home!
We loved our stay in Manset! The house is clean, the kitchen is well-appointed, and all the details had been thought of. Kayaking at sunrise was amazing!
The house is directly on/over water, and we enjoyed watching the tides roll in and yachts get loaded/unloaded on the neighboring pier. It's a close walk to a nearby restaurant, and a short drive to Southwest Harbor and Acadia. We will be back!
